Sorry it's so short!
Chapter 4
Miki's POV-
"Done!" Luffy yells and we look over at him.
He spent about thirty minutes drawing something on to Laboon's head. I look to see a very bad drawing of our crew's flag symbol drawn on to the whale's head. 'At least he didn't fall in the water.' I look at the whale that seems really happy, I smile softly.
"Now don't hit your head or it will come off." Luffy said putting his straw hat on, "Let's go!" he said and the whale let out a cry of joy.
"What a-about us?" Miss. Wednesday asks looking scared.
"We'll take you to the next island." Luffy smiles and gets on the ship.
I turn to Laboon and bow my head, "Bye L-Laboon." Then I join everyone on the ship.
Nami starts to argue with Luffy about how they shouldn't take the two people with them because they tried to kill Laboon. I walk over to my small brown bag and it at the table on the deck. I pull my black notebook and turn to a new page to start drawing the ReverseMountain. Things start to claim down on the ship as we set sail. I look up to wave good-bye to Crocus.
I hear someone sit at the table with me and look up to see Nami, "Honestly." She sighs, "How did you even put up with that idiot?" she asks looking at Luffy who was across the deck begging Sanji for food.
I look for the right words, 'Luffy's always been there. At least since I was seven. If he hadn't found me in the snow I would be dead. Should I say that?' Nami looks at my confused face and laughs a little.
"Miki, relax. I'm your friend there's no need to worry." Nami says and smiles, "Luffy says you're a childhood friend. Did you grow up on the same island?" she asks.
My face darkens, "I w-would rather not t-talk about the p-past." I say, stand up leaving my notebook on the table and quickly go inside the ship.
Once inside I start to feel guilty, 'Was I rude by not talking about my past? Should I have lied and said I did grow up on the island?' I sigh at myself and finally gather the bravery to go back outside.
Nami was holding my notebook about hand it to me when the wind blew and flips the notebook to a random page. Nami looks down, 'What page did it land on? I hope it's not embarrassing?' I walk forward to see what page it was on.
'Kaku…' The page is a drawing of me; I wore a white sun dress with a pretty red flower in my hair. I was smiling widely and the ocean was behind me. I close the notebook in Nami's hands and take it.
"I thought you didn't color your drawings." Nami said and I hold the notebook close to me.
"I d-didn't draw it." I said putting the notebook in my brown bag, 'Kaku did.'
"Nami! Are we there yet!?" Luffy asks and Nami sighs going over to Luffy to talk to him.
I sit at the table and stare at the ocean, 'I wonder when will get there? I hope Nami isn't mad at me? What will the island be like?' Surprisingly it didn't take that long to get to the next island, in fact I thought it was going to take days but really it just too all day.
I stand up in confusion as people began to cheer, 'Why are they cheering us?' Everyone else seems as confused as me, well beside Luffy who seems happy about this.
"Come! We'll have a party!" A man on the island calls to us as we dock the ship.
"I'm not sure about this, Luffy." Nami whispers to our captain.
"There will be drinks and meat." The man said and Luffy began to drool.
"Meat! Meat!" Luffy chanted and walks along side the man who was taking us to the party.
Nami sighs and we all follow Luffy, we went into a bar where people had already laid out food and drinks. I sit in a corner table by a window. I sip my water and slowly eat my sandwich. I giggle every once in a while because of something the crew did funny. 'Why are they being so nice?' and look at the other people carefully, 'Maybe there just naturally nice?' But I couldn't bring myself to believe it was just that.
Soon everyone was asleep or had passed out; I couldn't sleep so I walk back to the ship to get my notebook. I sit on the Going Merry and began to draw the town. I got this sudden feeling someone was behind me, my heart starts to race and I close my notebook. Trying to act normal, I slowly put my notebook into the brown bag and zipped it. I place the bag around my shoulder and reach for my one gun that rested on my right hip.
"I wouldn't try that." I deep voice said from behind me, it strangely sounded familiar, "It's been I long time." He said.
"W-who are you?" I ask not turning around and I feel a tip of something metal poke the middle of my back, 'Why does he sound so familiar? It can't be anyone from home.'
"Don't tell me you forgot me." He said and I feel him get closer, "After all we went through, Miki." He said and I could feel he's hot breath on the back of my neck.
"Y-you can't b-be." I said and my breathing quickened.
