A/N: I'm backkkkk (cue creepy serial killer music).

Long time no update, ya think? I'm so deeply sorry about that. At this point there is really no excuse for it. I had an excuse like three months ago but then I just didn't write anything so that excuse is now kaput. I am keeping myself busy with other writing projects while dealing with the turmoil of senior year so updates on this story may be sparse from now on but hopefully it will not be so long between them as this was. I have a rough idea of where I am going with this so we shall see!

Well, I think I've kept you waiting long enough. Again, sorry for the devastating delay on this update, I hope the chapter is sufficient enough for you. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: The not-found female isn't of my possession nor is its characters, y'feel me? (Lost Girl and its characters aren't mine okay cool moving on.)

Tamsin's truck squealed to a stop in front of a large shopping complex. The two fae stared in awe at the intimidating black clouds swirling devilishly above the condensed buildings before them. They exchanged an 'oh shit' look before bolting from their seats in the cab of the truck.

Bo called over the noise of the brewing storm to the blonde beside her, "I've got this mess, go find Dyson!"

"No need," Tamsin's hand grabbed the brunette's wrist just before she headed for the angry clouds. The Valkyrie pointed to their right and Bo looked to see a greatly disheveled Dyson jogging toward them. The wolf halted when he reached the pair, both girls waiting anxiously for a report.

"It's Lorelei! She got upset and this happened and now we can't get her to calm down," Dyson panted. "Kenzi is trying to talk to her but nothing is working. You guys need to get in there now!" No sooner had the last syllable left his mouth when a brilliant bolt of lightning struck a nearby light post, sending glass and sparks flying in all directions. Tamsin covered Bo's body with her own, shielding her from the blasting shards as an intense crack of thunder exploded in the atmosphere around the trio following the electric strike.

"Wait, Dyson," Bo called over the storm. "What is happening exactly? What do you mean Lorelei is the storm!?" The brunette briskly swept a few straggling shards of glass from her Valkyrie's shoulder, shooting her a 'why the hell did you do that you, could have been hurt, we'reso talking about this later' look before turning her expectant and frequently confused gaze towards the male detective.

The bearded man reached for Bo's wrist, planning to guide her in the direction of the source of the chaos, but was interrupted by a possessive, intimidating blonde as she stepped between the two – stopping the shifter's hand in its track – and gave him a glare that could cause the God of Thunder himself to weep. "Watch your paws, wolf junk. Just answer the question so we can get this show on the road."

The succubus felt her eyes flash blue for a split second at the feeling of the green-eyed fae's hand snaking protectively into her own and enjoying the surge of guilty appreciation she received from watching the blonde reveal her possessive side. She willingly trotted behind the taller woman, allowing herself to be dragged along as Tamsin pushed past the semi-shocked wolf towards the eye of the storm. Pulling herself back to the harsh reality of the situation, the brunette managed to reluctantly tune in to what Dyson had to say – or rather stutter.

"Erm...w-well she, uh," the man stammered as the obvious connection between the succubus and his partner caught up to him – and he to them – having been left behind to analyze the Valkyrie's protective actions. He shook his head, deciding to deal with this realization at a more suitable time, before officially beginning his explanation.

"I'm not quite sure of how she is controlling it but it is definitely her," the scruffy man said matter-of-factly, slowing his speed when he met the pace of the two women before him. "The more upset she gets, the angrier the storm becomes. If she calms down at all-"

"So does the weather..." Bo interjected, sounding dazed as she realized the danger of the impending state of affairs. By this time, the three were approaching the center of the outdoor shopping complex. A shrill and panicked voice became audible as Kenzi's back came into view, crouching behind an oversized potted plant.

"Come on Lorelei! It's okay, there will be other backpacks! I bet we'll find one even cuter than that one if we look! Yeah! Yeah, let's go look now! Just stop crying and we'll go right now," the little Russian pleaded, but to no avail, as the girl began stomping her feet and sobbing further.

"I want the sparkly blue one! The one with Mommy on it!" The young fae screamed. As she wailed, a loud clap of thunder cracked, sending Kenzi scurrying into Dyson's open arms with a squeak. At the girl's whining outburst, Tamsin was overcome with a realization. Not being one to wait around, the blonde rolled her eyes at the shivering puddle of goth beside her and began stalking her way around Lorelei, out of sight from the trembling child. She motioned for Bo to approach her in order to distract her long enough that the Valkyrie could sneak up behind the girl.

The succubus took the hint and cautiously made her way around the plant that Kenzi had been cowering behind only moments before. "Lori, sweetie, it's Bo! Honey can you stop crying for me? What can I do," the brunette stalled, attempting to grant Tamsin enough time to accomplish whatever she had planned.

"I want my backpack," the little Nixie cried, the wind picking up with her upset.

"No, hey, hey, hey! Shh, don't cry babe!" Bo shot a backwards glance towards her best friend, still quivering behind the tall, shaggy, detective. "Kenz, why the hell didn't you just buy her the backpack," Bo hissed at the small human.

"We would have but some brat grabbed it out of her hands! She would've been fine but the kid pushed her down when she tried to ask for it and she got mad and BOOM," Kenzi squeaked back dramatically.

"And where were you during all of this!?" Bo directed her attention to the muscled wolf.

"Well, I would have kept her calm but I was a bit busy trying to hold onto little miss Slavic badass over here so that she wouldn't assault the kid," Dyson growled at the pint-sized Russian girl.

"What, that little creep put her hands on my bear cub and there was no way she was going to escape the wrath of mama bear," Kenzi snarled defensively with narrowed eyes.

Suddenly, everyone's attention snapped to the 'cub' in question when she let out an amplified shriek of surprise. By the looks of it, Tamsin had accomplished her mission. She stood braced behind Lorelei, her arms wrapped tightly around the small girl's body, holding her closely.

The Valkyrie held the little fae in her relentless embrace, refusing to budge when the girl tried to squirm free. "Rune...Rune, shhh. It's okay. I know – you miss your mom and I'm sorry. But you have got to calm down if we are going to talk about this." After a moment's struggle, she felt the girl's figure become limp in her grasp so she adjusted her hold in order for the little brunette to face her and, gradually, she raised the child into her arms. The storm slowed to an almost immediate calm at the action.

Tamsin began to run her fingers through Lorelei's long, sandy brown locks. "I know what it's like to lose someone you love, sweetie. Believe me, I do. I know what it's like to feel like no one wants you – like you're alone in this hellish place," the blonde pulled her face back, leaving the little girl with no choice but to look directly into her intense eyes, "But listen to me when I say that you are not alone and you will never be alone again. I want you. Bo wants you. Kenzi, Dyson, Trick, Hale, and L-," I can't believe I'm about to invoke this bitch's name. Tamsin choked back a sickness at what she was about to do, "and Lauren – they all want you. They are here for you just like I am – just like Bo." The blonde shot an appreciative glace at her newly determined other half. She wasn't sure if the succubus could hear what she was saying or not – the wolf undoubtedly hearing every word – but if she heard, maybe it would be for the better.

The Valkyrie carried Lorelei to where the others stood. Bo's expression, despite relieved, was unreadable when she caught Tamsin's eye. Dyson looked at her with an 'I'm so going to grill you on this later' look and Kenzi was – well, Kenzi.

The shifter took on a more serious tone and placed his hand on the chid's shoulder. "We should get to the Dal. Trick needs to know about this as soon as possi-"

"No, we're taking Lorelei home," Bo stated pointedly. "It's been a long day already and I think we could all use a little down time. Call Lauren to meet you at the Dal and you and Kenzi can explain everything to her and Trick. Tamsin and I will take Lori back to Tamsin's new place so she can rest for a while."

"But, Bo, I really think we sho-"

"Dyson, I am saying no. We will bring her later tonight after she's had time to catch her breath but for now we are going home."

"Okay, bu-"

"Listen, pup," fed up with the wolf's argument, Tamsin gently passed Lorelei to Kenzi before slipping into full bitch-mode, "She said no. Does that make sense to you or do I need to call Cesar Millan?" The blonde stepped heavily up to the other detective and bore her fearless gaze into his.

The shifter growled lowly and puffed out his chest in defense and Tamsin felt the shadows build in the hallows of her face in return. Just as Dyson's teeth began to make an appearance, Bo pressed her hand strongly against her lover's collarbone, edging her back delicately and stepping between the two heated fae.

"I hate to break up this little love fest but, in order to avoid an outright blood bath, I'm going to take you and our child home...now," the succubus, with her hand already on Tamsin's clavicle, coiled her fingers around the blonde's jacket collar and tugged her away from the wolf. She dragged the shockingly silent Valkyrie behind her as she went to retrieve Lorelei from Kenzi's arms.

It wasn't until the brunette took in the 'what the hell did you just say' look on her best friend's face that she caught on to what she had just admitted. Amidst the confusion of trying to break up the almost-brawl between the two powerful detectives, Bo had absentmindedly let slip that she thought of Lorelei as the junior to Tamsin and herself. Our child. The skittish Valkyrie was evasive as it was so there's no telling what something like this could do to her fragile psyche.

Trying to play it off like nothing significant had happened and wanting to avoid the situation as much as she possibly could, Bo took the little Nixie from Kenzi and spun on her heel, heading back in the direction from which they came, towing the still silent Tamsin behind her – though she had moved her grip from the Valkyrie's collar to loosely intertwine their fingers. She refused to look at Dyson for fear of what his expression may reveal.

Once the trio reached Tamsin's truck, Bo released the blonde's hand and rounded to the passenger side of the vehicle. She wordlessly slid into the cab, Lorelei perched tiredly on her right knee, exhausted from the tantrum she had just thrown. Tamsin followed suit – minus the child – and turned the key in the ignition, bringing the truck to life with its usual roar. The blonde didn't make any indication that she planned on moving the truck, however. Instead she simply sat, her hands on the wheel, staring blankly out over the dashboard.

Seeing that Tamsin was making no move to speak anytime soon, the succubus planned on speaking up, but was interrupted by the half-asleep child curled against her body, "I want to sit with TamTam," the girl spoke softly.

Bo cleared her head, tuning into Lorelei's question, "Well, she's going to be driving so why don't we just stay here for now and you can sit with her when we g-"

"It's fine," the blonde in question spoke up for the first time since her encounter with Dyson. "I'll take her."

"Tamsin, you're driving. You can't-"

"Yes I can because I'm not driving – you are. Switch with me, I said I'd take her," Tamsin said monotonously.

"A-are you sure?" Bo swore she was hallucinating. Tamsin telling someone other than herself to drive her truck – her baby? And not even with a 'be careful or else' warning? Now I know I'm in trouble, she thought to herself.

"Yes, Bo. Give her to me," the older fae demanded, her arms outstretched as the brunette passed the sleepy child into them before climbing over the pair and into the driver's seat.

The ride back to Tamsin's was quiet and awkward. It didn't take long for Lorelei to fall asleep in the blonde's strong and comforting embrace. It was only mid-afternoon but she had experienced a very eventful morning and was completely worn out. When the truck came to a stop at the familiar little house, Tamsin walked ahead, Lorelei in her arms, leaving Bo trekking to the homey structure by herself. Once inside, the brunette set the keys down on the coffee table and sank down into a fetal position on the couch.

"Geez, Bo, who died?" The succubus rose from her place on the sofa when Tamsin's voice entered her consciousness but kept her legs hugged defensively against her chest.

"Why aren't you talking to me, Tamsin?" Hearing this, the blonde, having just put Lorelei to bed in her room, paused before plopping down beside Bo. The taller woman had changed into a pale blue button down top and extremely flattering jeans.

"I'm pretty sure that's what I'm doing right now, succulet, in case you hadn't noticed," the Valkyrie sneered playfully.

"Tamsin, you know what I mean. Is it because of what I said back there in front of Dyson and Kenz? About Lorelei? I didn't mean to, I wasn't thinking. I just...it was the first thing that came to my mind and-"

"Bo-"

"I just wasn't thinking Tamsin, oka-"

"Bo..."

"I really don't think there's any reason to be mad at me though, honestly it was kind of a compli-"

"BO!"

"It's unfair, Tams! I don't get why you have to be such a child about ev-"

Tamsin grabbed the rambling succubus by the shoulders, growing desperately impatient – and mildly amused – and slammed their lips together with a ruthless force. The brunette in question immediately retaliated, snaking her arms around the detective's neck and hoisting herself onto the blonde's lap, her legs wrapping tightly around the other woman's waist. But before she could get anywhere fun, the Valkyrie pulled away chuckling.

"Hey," Bo pouted, still inches from the blonde's face. Tamsin sighed and turned back to gaze at the brown eyed woman currently perched on her lap.

"So, what's the easiest way to get a succubi's attention?" The older fae gave a wink and another breathy chuckle, "Can I talk now?" When she was eventually met with a reluctant nod from Bo, she continued, "I clam up when I get freaked out, as you've probably figured out. I also tend to run – but I'm obviously still here since you just tried to swallow my face in one breath," Tamsin paused to grin at the playful smack she received from the brunette.

She went on, "So you guessed the 'freaked out' part correctly...but you couldn't stop yammering long enough to think that it may not be your fault...," she trailed off. Bo was undoubtedly about to question the situation so the blonde answered before she had the chance, "I did get freaked out over what you said but it wasn't because you said it. I panicked when I realized that I felt the same way – I like thinking of Rune as...ours. And I like that you think of her like that and that you put me in that equation. I've never felt like that before and it makes me nervous which is why I freaked out...you've just got to give me a chance to adjust."

Bo felt a grin spreading across her face. She pulled the blushing Valkyrie's face back to her own and connected their lips again, gentler this time. The kiss was sweet and delicate and paced, much different than usual. Needless to say, that moment was short lived. The moment that Bo felt Tamsin's tongue glide smoothly across her bottom lip, she may as well have become the energizer bunny.

Her succubus side took over as she declared war on Tamsin's tongue. At this, the blonde's Valkyrie side took over, unable to resist a battle, and so it began. The two became a mess of teeth and tongues, fingernails and skin. Their breathing grew increasingly ragged as their intimacy bloomed. Tamsin pawed at the leather of Bo's jacket while Bo tore at the fabric of Tamsin's shirt, both craving immediate removal. After a momentary struggle, both articles were strewn across the room. The brunette pushed Tamsin back against the seat of the couch in order to top her toned body. The detective disagreed with the idea of submission and before Bo could blink, her back was flat against the rug between the sofa and the coffee table, her top and bra having mysteriously joined her jacket by the front door. How does she do that!?

Tamsin's signature smirk graced her strong, Nordic features at the accomplishment. The grin was becoming somewhat of a turn on for the now very vulnerable succubus and caused her to lurch forward and kiss the smile right off of the blonde's lips. The Valkyrie moaned absentmindedly into the kiss, the sound causing Bo to instinctually rake her nails up Tamsin's sides, eliciting a louder, throatier moan from the woman above her. When the succubus' hands reached the base of Tamsin's lacy, black bra, she hooked her thumbs underneath the thin fabric, sliding her digits slowly – painfully slow – around to the hooks of the article, intent on discarding the offensive material in a timely manner.

Knock, Knock, Knock!

Both women groaned in general – and sexual – frustration. Tamsin slouched her head down to rest her forehead on Bo's exposed shoulder before reaching for a blanket tossed casually over the arm of the couch and covering her very bare girlfriend with the object to a decent extent. "Stay," she directed pointedly at the giggling succubus as she rose from the floor and sauntered angrily for the door, snatching her button down top on the way and throwing it haphazardly over her shoulders before swinging the wooden door open, prepared to slit the throat of anyone who dared interrupt her at a time like this.

To her non-surprise, it happened to be someone interrupting her in this situation for the second time in one day.

"Whoa, blondie, cover up would ya? There's children here," Kenzi exclaimed with a snicker as she tried to push her way into the small house. She was stopped in her tracks when Tamsin stepped in her path, arm resting against the doorframe to prevent further passage. "Um, hello. Trying to walk here."

"Um, hello. My house, my rules. Rule number one: no nuisance humans," the blonde spat, annoyed.

"Tamsin, don't be mean," Bo sighed, amused, from her unmoving position on the floor.

"BoBo? Is that you? BO HELP SHE'S TRYING TO KILL ME," Kenzi screeched dramatically in an attempt to get her way.

"Kenzi, I am right here!" The brunette sat up in front of the couch, blanket wrapped snuggly around her body, and shot her best friend a glare like a teacher would give a troublesome student.

"Whoa, what the fae did I just walk into," the little Russian squeaked, covering her eyes.

"Why do you think I didn't let you in, pipsqueak," Tamsin smirked proudly and raised her brow before moving aside, offering entrance to the small human on the porch. Her invitation was denied when Kenzi pushed three oversized shopping bags across the threshold of the house with her dangerously high boot.

"No thank you! I just came to drop off all of Little Me's clothes that you left behind. That was, in fact, the whole reason behind going shopping in the first place, wasn't it," Kenzi asked in a smart aleck tone. A car horn sounded from the drive causing Tamsin to peer around the other girl, revealing Hale sitting impatiently in the same black SUV that Dyson had picked she and Bo up in from the lake. He sat tapping his fingers on the steering wheel. Tamsin raised a hand and nodded in his direction, he lifted two fingers casually from the wheel in return.

In a blunt attempt to send the raven haired girl back to the car, the blonde shrugged and gave Kenzi a light shove from the porch which – in the heels the girl was wearing – was enough to send her toppling into the grass with squeal and an ungraceful thud.

"Ow! I am so reporting you to the cops for that one buddy! And the Ash! That was cruelty," Kenzi whined.

The Valkyrie chuckled, "Okay, first off, I am the cops. Second, I answer to the Morrigan – you'd think you'd know that by now. And third, neither the cops nor the Ash can deal with animal cruelty, so..."

"Hey!" The horn blew again, earning an eye-roll from the Russian. "I'm coming, sheesh, keep your fedora on Hale! This isn't over, Valkyrie," Kenzi sneered, pointing a thin finger at Tamsin as she scrambled to her feet and marched stubbornly to the SUV. The blonde listened in amusement to the light, bickering exchange between the two as they drove off before turning to return to her blanketed lover.

"Remind me to put up no-trespassing signs. And to get a guard dog...maybe two." Tamsin joked as she collapsed onto the couch to look down at her beloved succubus.

"Oh, come on, Kenzi isn't that bad," Bo cooed, shifting slightly so that she could rest her head against the cushion beside Tamsin's. "Although she does have really bad timing." The brunette licked her lips for emphasis, as if the blue flash of her eyes wasn't enough.

"Yeah? Well, if it happens again she's going to be dog food," the blonde breathed, their faces moving closer to each other since the beginning of their conversation, now merely centimeters apart. With Lorelei fast asleep down the hall and the afternoon free for them to do whatever they so pleased, it was as if the two were struck by the realization at precisely the same moment.

Their lips collided for the third official time since they returned to the house. This time, it was anxious, as if they were afraid of being interrupted again so they were rushing. Bo leapt from her spot on the floor just as Tamsin stood, their lips never breaking apart. The Valkyrie was ready to hoist her lover into her grasp, however, this plan changed when the succubus did so first. She latched her hold beneath the blonde's body and began to carry her down the hall to Tamsin's bedroom, the kiss remaining strong as they stumbled into the room, locking the solid door behind them.

A/N: It was getting too long I'm sorry! Plus, I wouldn't be myself if I didn't leave off with at least a muy pequeño cliffhanger ;)

I suck, I know, but you love me so shhhhh.
