A/N: I am so sorry this is such a belated update. I am just having the hardest time finding a spare moment to write these chapters. This one is pretty short, but I hope you like it anyways.

Disclaimer: Lost Girl no is mine.

When Bo and Tamsin entered their living room, Dyson was pacing back and forth behind the couch impatiently. Judging by his expression, whatever was going on was less than desirable. He held tight to something in his hand, occasionally opening his grasp to glance at the unknown object before clenching his fist again and continuing in his anxious pacing.

"Where's the fire, D-Man?" Tamsin asked sarcastically as she and Bo entered and approached the wolf. She had one hand stuffed in her hoodie pocket and the other tucked snuggly into Bo's grasp. Bo trailed a step behind her lover sleepily and made her entrance with a big yawn.

"Sorry to interrupt your obviously busy morning, partner," Dyson said with a snarl in his tone and a hint of jealousy in his eyes as he glanced at the succubus, now leaning heavily against the blonde with her arms wrapped loosely around the taller woman's waist and her head resting gently on her shoulder. When he turned his gaze back to the Valkyrie, he was met with warning daggers shooting from Tamsin's emerald stare.

"Well, you interrupted it anyways, so get on with it or get out," the blonde spat back at her jealous partner. Bo lifted her tired head to look at Tamsin with mild confusion, completely oblivious to the silent territorial battle happening right in front of her.

"Good, you're both here," Lauren's voice came from behind the trio as she and Aloysia came back down the hall with Lorelei. The little fae skittered to Tamsin's other side and slammed into her. The detective wrapped her free arm around the girl's thin shoulders as the other two went to stand by Dyson.

Lauren perched herself atop the back of the couch with Aloysia following suit. The older Nixie then took up a similar position to Bo, taking Lauren's hand in her own and leaning her head against the doctor's shoulder, causing the easily embarrassed human to blush at the contact. Aloysia had quickly picked up on the 'fitting in' aspect of living in a city like this.

Though she kept her hair at its obnoxiously long length, she began to regularly tie her white locks up in loose but intricate buns and up-dos at the back of her head. The ice-eyed fae also changed her wardrobe from forest creature to trendy fashionista. Today she wore a pair of high waisted leather pants with brass buttons at the top, a velvet burgundy crop-top, and a pair of knee high, lace up boots. She was, in truth, an undeniably beautiful sight to behold.

"So why exactly are you here?" Bo asked softly.

"We've found something at the Dal," Dyson began. He opened his hand, revealing the object he had been studying. It was a purple flower, identical to those that Bo and Tamsin had found in the woods on their quest to find the Nixies. Tamsin's eyes widened and she turned her accusatory stare to Aloysia.

"What the hell is that!? I told you we can't trust her!" The blonde began her rampage, ready to go into full bitch-mode but stopped when Lauren stood and moved in front of Aloysia protectively.

"She didn't do anything, Tamsin," the doctor defended, "that was everyone's first thought, believe me, she was just as shocked as all of us, if not more." She glanced over her shoulder at the white haired woman and squeezed her hand lightly.

"She is right. This is not one of ours, there is no way my mother would allow the tribe to leave our forest again after what has happened," the Nixie explained.

"This wasn't all we found though. There was a letter..." Dyson trailed off.

"Okay...vague much?" Bo replied with a cocked brow.

Dyson fiddled for a moment before pulling a folded piece of paper from his vest pocket and extending his arm towards the couple.

Tamsin narrowed her eyes, skeptic for a moment, and snatched the paper from his hand. She unfolded the old, yellowing material and held it between herself and Bo so that both could get a good look. The letter was written in crimson ink, as dark as dried blood. There was a seal at the bottom of the page with a script letter T in the center. The note read, The succubus and the Valkyrie possess a child of my most sacred blood. Deliver to me my heir and your breath you shall keep. If you do not do so, hell will be bestowed upon you and everything you hold most dear. The girl will be mine, whether kindly or not. This is your warning, your chance at an easy exchange. Make your decision wisely. Regards – Dax.

"Well if this Dax guy thinks he can just take her from us he's sure as hell got another thing coming to him," Tamsin spat as she stuffed the paper in her hoodie pocket.

"She needs to be with one of us at all times," Bo said, reaching one hand around Tamsin's back to stroke Lorelei's hair.

"I agree, which is why we're sending her with Kenzi for the day. Hale will be there to make sure everything goes smoothly," Dyson stated. Right on cue, the black SUV pulled into the driveway. Kenzi hopped out and made her way to the door just as Aloysia was turning the handle to let her in.

"Yo, peeps," the little goth said as she looked around the room at each familiar face. Lorelei bounded across the room and leapt into Kenzi's open arms as she scooped the little fae off the ground. "Hey squirt! You ready for a serious movie marathon!?"

Lorelei nodded excitedly in return. Lauren handed over a small backpack, which Kenzi slung over her shoulder. With a nod and a smile in Bo's direction, she mouthed "Good luck" to the group, and was gone.

Dyson glanced between Bo and Tamsin and sighed, rolling his eyes a bit before speaking, "Okay, well, you two get back to your business. We'll meet up at the Dal later..." He ducked his head and sauntered out of the house without a backwards glance. Aloysia and Lauren smiled awkwardly and bid the pair good bye before following the wolf out the door. Just like that, the two were alone again. But not alone with Lorelei in another room. They were really alone.

"What just happened?" Bo whined, crushing her forehead against Tamsin's shoulder again and encircling her arms tightly around the Valkyrie's torso.

"Don't ask me, for once I am as clueless as you are," Tamsin chuckled, receiving a smack to her bicep from the succubus.

"Well...we're alone now," Bo breathed, stretching her neck and standing on her toes to graze her lips across Tamsin's earlobe. "What should we do?"

"Mmm, good question," the blonde purred, twisting in Bo's hold so she could face the enticing brunette. She trailed her fingers lightly up the succubus' arms and held her tightly by the shoulders before pressing her lips to Bo's gently. She sucked on her lover's bottom lip and Bo grasped at Tamsin's waist in response. The Valkyrie began trailing open mouthed kisses along Bo's jaw, slowly. She reached the brunette's earlobe and nibbled lightly causing the succubus' breath to hitch in her throat, much to Tamsin's satisfaction. The blonde ran her hands over the surface of Bo's abdomen, waist, hips, ribs, and back. Bo's breathing was becoming ragged and uneven once Tamsin lifted her lips to the brunette's ear.

"I'm going to go take a hot shower," she whispered, her breath tickling Bo's neck. "I think it's about time for me to get...wet."

With that, she pulled away from the stunned succubus and sauntered down the hallway to their room. She shed herself of the hoodie and t-shirt along the way, leaving her only in her bra by the time she reached the doorway. Bo watched speechlessly as the blonde shot her a wink and entered the bedroom. She stood motionless for a while, trying to allow her brain time to catch up with what had just happened.

Bo felt her eyes flash blue and a wide grin spread across her face. She turned and darted down the hall after the Valkyrie, chasing her into the bedroom, and slamming the door behind her.

A/N: I appreciate all the love I get for this story! I am so sorry I am not able to update as much as I should. I know this was a pretty weird chapter as far as transitions and layout, but I'm trying to set up a baseline for the story's continuation.

I hope you enjoyed regardless, as always, please let me know what you think!
