The Young girl blacked out of her thinking and turned around to face the long white haired women. "What is it mother?" Lucy looked just watched her young daghuter stare blankly at her "Lucy your father said he would not be joining us after all,because he has bussines to attend to at heartfilia rail ways. Lucy's lips faintly moved to a joyful smile "Thats a shame so its just gunna be us then?". Mirajane swung her hands to her hips "No we have your future husband Gajeel joining us too".
This was just great Lucy thought her arranged marriage fiance was coming soon to join them she thought it was great at first if father was not coming but him this was gunna be just dandy.
Lucy was currently sat on a bench on the first class ships deck reading a book she had gotten on the way to the ship was not due to set off till later on so she decided tha she would spend the time to sight see around the ship before going to see her room and get ready for dinner.
Below her deck was the lower class deck where all of the lower class people where statiend. A young boy was happily layed down looking up at the sky. "One day Igneel I will find you". His rosey Pink hair was shimmering to the suns rays His face was tucked away in his white scarf.
"Hey flame brain you talking to yourself again" a raven haired boy said while walking up too the boy layed out on the bench. Instantly the boy shot up " Stop calling me that grey my names Natsu Ice princess" Grey just looked at him "Says you calling me Ice princess". Natsu and grey carried on talking about there plans for the long trip ahead. "Why you heading to Edolas then?" Natsu turned to the sky again "Well I was looking through Igneel's things and it said in his last diary entry that he planned on going there so I thought why not?" Grey was happy for his friend he had spent a while trying to find his father and now he may have had a break through.
Natsu stayed still for a moment at what was in front of his eyes over looking the top balcony deck "Hey flame brain what you looking at?" "Dont you see her shes beautiful?" .. Grey was puzzled " Where you looking at?" Natsu grabbed Greys head and swung it around "There on the balcony that blond girl"
"What her?" " YES WHO ELSE?" Grey was stunned "If you think you will get her you have no chance shes way out of your league she proberly is married to some stuck up millionaire tythoon" Natsu's face went down "Your right I would never compaire to someone like that". Natsu and grey headed inside the boat to go check out there rooms.
Above deck Lucy was now making her way too her room carrying her hat and coat and book in the other hand. She stood there in front of her room door opening it wildly she was greeted by her best servent Levy whose hand was cooped to the side of her face. Levy was dressed in a long black dress with frills on the end of the sleeves and had a white servent cap on her head. Her short blue hair was tied into a loose messy bun she looked as if she had been crying. "Levy what is the matter?" Levy smiled weakly " Hello miss Lucy did you enjoy your time on the deck?" Lucy did not understand " Levy dont change the subject whats wrong and whys your hand on your cheek?" Levy turned away " Your mother got angry at me again I dropt her favrate china,I was too clumsy as allways" Lucy grabbed Levys other hand and turned her around and removed her other hand from the side of her cheek. A great big hand print was placed on the left side of her cheek " This needs to stop where is she Levy?" Levy stutterd at Lucy's sudden outburst " She left a while back for dinner ,she told me to tell you that she would meet you there" " Well then I will tell her at dinner then humiliate her infront of my fiance and aunt Erza see how she likes it eh Levy?" Levy did not look pleased "I dont want to cause trouble I need this job to help my mother pay for her hospital treatment"
Of cause Lucy never thought of the concequences she could be putting on Levy but was it right for her mother to get away with it who was she kidding she was not her real mother. Lucy sighed "Fine but just you wait she will get whats coming too her".
"Enougth about that, have you seen your room its beautiful just look at it" Levy was right everything was painted to the aspect of detail on the walls high quality bed sheets where placed on Lucy's four poster bed. A mirror hung over a large fireplace with a large dresser beside it a large varity of dresses where all neatly hung on a cabinet door frame ready to be worn. Levy pushed Lucy behined a screen and started to take her dress off along with her sock garments. Levy grabbed a long bodice from the other side of the screen and adjusted it to Lucys body fasining the fabric tightly Lucy whimperd she hated bodices. Lucy got no choice in what she had to wear her mother chose it and tonight Mirajane had chosen a dress that fitted Lucy's curve quite well the colour was odd it was a dull maroon color which Lucy hated, Asmall belt was placed around her wast that was ment for the dress the sleves reached down to Lucy's elbows.
"Its horrible I look like a dead flower" Cried Lucy, "Mrs Mira wanted you to wear it Lucy it was her strict ourders but you may do your hair how you wish" "Leave it down it looks much better" Lucy sulked. Lucy was at last finished getting ready and was now dreading the meal with her fiance, mother, and aunt. The bodice started to tighten each time Lucy breathed and it was hurting Lucy's chest.
