Welcome back! When we last left off I invented the strangest OC known to man! I'm going to be calling him Sexy for short. Dicks. Hi person sitting next to me! I am writing this in class. I hate all of you. I hate you too person next to me. On with the show! Wait! Don't steal my Magic the Gathering cards! Um…on with the story!
Anna
Well, that just happened.
Advice for future DWMA students; don't be friends with people who change their names to Sexy. He was driving me crazy all morning! Blue Star didn't help at all either, he was being just as annoying.
Help me…anyone…please…
I looked out the window to see a strange figure walking up the front steps. It was a blonde girl wearing white and black clothes. I looked at Aya. She was looking at the girl too. I grabbed Blue Star's wrist and pointed outside.
"Want to go find out what's going on?" I asked. Blue Star smiled.
"Why not?" She said. We all ran outside to find the girl slowly approaching the academy.
"Why, hello there. You're academy students, right?" The girl asked.
"Yeah, but we want to know what you're doing here." Aya said.
"I haven't introduced myself yet, have I? Take me to the reaper and then I'll tell you." She said.
"We'll be accompanying you." Blue Star said. We began walking to the death room.
Who is she and why does she want to talk to my dad?
We were walking in silence and just outside of the death room the mysterious girl said something.
"You two are Death's kids, right?"
"Yeah, but why do you care?" Aya said.
"Just curious." She said and then pushed the door open.
The death room was always a bright place, considering what it was. Cartoonish clouds float gracefully around the room, drifting slowly around, not obeying any physics laws whatsoever. Seriously, where did those damn things come from?! Just floating, little cloud thing that look like cardboard. Can you buy those somewhere? Is there a store that sells physics-defying cardboard clouds? Oh, well.
That cloud rant aside, there was an eerie silence that hung in that room. An almost creepy silence.
Note to self; make dad put elevator music or something in here.
We walked to the platform in the middle of the room. My dad just stood there, I doubt that he even noticed us coming in.
"Matthew, Blue Star, you can go back to class. Be sure to save your partners seats." Matthew and Blue Star nodded, turned around, and walked away. Our dad turned around.
"Who are you?" He asked the girl. She smiled.
"Starting with that are we, Death The Kid?" She asked him. Aya and I were confused, no one ever called him by his old name. Most people didn't even know his old name.
"May I ask how you know me?"
"I've never met you before, but you knew my father." She responded.
"Your father?" Now I was really confused. Who did dad know that I didn't? I death scythe maybe, wait, could it be him?
"It was a member of the DWMA that killed my father, actually. And I was never supposed to exist. But this is the age where witches and humans live side by side and magic can do the impossible. You see, my dad died during the battle for the moon, the battle to stop the kishin, Asura, once and for all. His name was Justin Law." The girl said.
"There's no way…" My dad said.
"How is that possible and what are you doing here?!" I demanded. Why would she come here?
"Like I said, magic. And as for why I'm here, I'm here to warn you."
"Warn us?" Aya asked.
"Despite the equal rights now given to witches and humans, many still worship madness and Asura. Many believe that he will return to spread insanity again. And there are some in this belief that are doing the extreme, trying to free the kishin."
Trying to free Ashura?
"They have almost cracked the black blood seal on the moon, I suggest that you prepare yourselves, disaster is at hand."
"But why do you care?"
"Not everyone believes in madness, while my father might have and the witch that made me did, I certainly don't. I'm a weapon with no magic abilities and almost no defense if the kishin manages to break free. I hope that you can solve the problem before it starts, but if you can't, be ready. He will be free any day now and will be much stronger than the last time. Are you ready to save the world again, Death The Kid?" She paused. Our father did something that I haven't seen him do in a long time, he removed his mask.
"Yes, I am. And this time, no one will perish." The girl smiled.
"We'll see about that." She turned around and sprinted out of the death room.
"Should we go after her?" I asked.
"No, it's fine." Our dad said.
"If what she said was true, I hope you're ready."
"Do you not believe what I said was true? We're ready, and if we aren't, we'll die protecting those we love."
That was it.
My life's turning point.
The destruction and insanity yet to come are of magnitudes that no one could have predicted.
Another cliff-y! I hope that you enjoy these more frequent updates now that I'm back on track! BTW portal high school host club shall be out very soon. Don't tell me that the idea for it is stupid, because I know it is! And that's why I'm doing it!
