It had been two days since all the countries had found out England had turned in to a girl.
Though most of the world was still excitedly talking about the development the British Isle siblings had seemed to calm down. Unlike the others who knew about England's predicament from its early days that were still trying to calm the world down but were also boasting about how they found out; basically Spain, Prussia and to a lesser extent Japan and America as they only found out a tiny bit before every one else gossiping and trying to answer any question the world had.
The British Isle sibling had decided to wait out the storm at Scotland's house.
Slightly due to the fact that England being a girl now was old news to them, England's siblings had caused it after all. Mostly due to a fact that there was a much bigger storm brewing among the siblings.
Independence.
Scottish Independence or rather the Scottish independence referendum results to be exact.
"Dam it Scotland you were so close! What the heck?" Ireland yelled at Scotland.
"Leave it alone Ireland, my people decided not me. Just move on I'm as disappointed as you are but there is nothing really you can do" Scotland said just wanting to move on from the conversation.
"Yes it was all fair and we all must respect the Scottish people's decision," said England who was trying not to smile and was failing at it.
"YOU STAY OUT OF THIS!" yelled Ireland angrily at England.
"I'll go make some tea," said England in an almost sing song voice while heading to the kitchen.
While Wales tried to calm Ireland down and her from trying to kill Scotland. " I should have gotten out of the house and hid like France did" Wales said to himself.
. . . . . . .
"Hey England" North Ireland said when England came in to the kitchen.
"Hello Northern Ireland, I was wondering where you were" England said
"Well, I've been hiding out here to escape Ireland's anger" North Ireland said.
"Yes well your sister certainly does have quite a temper" England remarked.
"You know she's your sister too," North Ireland says jokingly.
"Even after all these years I have a hard time believing it," England says.
"Well you two are really different" North Ireland says looking down.
"Quite" says England as she starts to make some tea.
The two continued like that for a while until England broke the silence.
"Well, northern Ireland your being uncharacteristically quiet" England said.
"We really got lucky didn't we?" North Ireland says still looking at the floor.
"What do you mean by that?" England asks.
"I'm talking about Scot's independence thing" North Ireland replies.
England looked shocked by this.
"Well I see why some would say I got lucky but why are you saying that about yourself?" England asks not knowing what brought on north Ireland's out of character behavior.
North Ireland continues to stare at the floor for a while.
"North Ireland?" England says beginning to feel worried.
"What I mean is that as soon as Scotland becomes independent it's only a matter of time until the republic of Ireland and north Ireland rejoin and when that happens I'll stop being a country" North Ireland finally said looking up.
"Northern Ireland!" England said shocked.
"I know it's going to happen eventually out of all of us I'm the most mortal. Maybe I'll get lucky and end up like Prussia and still be there but I don't really want that because that's really like I only just exist. Worst case scenario I simply just disappear, best-case scenario I turn human and start ageing. I kind of like that idea. I could get married, get a job, and have kids. It sounds really nice and you could a niece or nephew…" North Ireland said.
As he was speaking he was interrupted by England giving him a hug.
"England?" North Ireland said slightly confused.
"Hush, you don't need to worry about the future we're still all together right now, just focus on the present" England says reassuring North Ireland.
North Ireland returns England's hug and smiles to himself.
"You know England you'll always have Wales" North Ireland says jokingly.
"Northern Ireland we are having a moment don't ruin it" England says.
"Hey, it what I do" Ireland said grinning. Getting out of England's hug.
"Well you seem to be feeling better so help me bring in the tea" England says smiling.
. . . . . . . .
I'm so sorry I haven't updated in so long, school has me super busy. Also I'm sorry this chapter is so short, and for all the angst.
I promised a friend of mine a chapter about the Scottish Independence results, which produced this filler chapter, I promise the chapter will be really upbeat. On the bright side character development.
The next chapter will be up much sooner I'm nearly done with it.
See you at chapter 19
