Plus, my teachers are giving me headaches! All they do is give this and that and pass it up by tomorrow! I mean, who they think we are? Wonder woman? Superman? We can't finish that kind of homework in just one day and pass it up on the next day! I gotta say, my teachers are really out of wack!

Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this chapter! It's not really all fluff but I'll try to make more fluff between Natsu and Lucy in the future chapters! Don't kill me if this chapter is horrible~! It was kinda rushed and it's inda boring to be honest but I hope u won't start a riot and kill me! Anyway, I'll shut up now so you can read~!

Chapter 8: Natsu and Lucy's Mission Alone

~Lucy's POV~

It's been 2 months since I've joined Fairy Tail. A lot of things happened but the best thing was finding my most precious childhood friend, Natsu Dragneel. We became teammates with Natsu's pet neko, Happy, Erza Scarlet and Gray Fullbuster.

We are getting along pretty well except for Natsu and Gray who can't just stop glaring and throwing lame insults at each other. To be honest, I sometimes want to punch them in the face when they are fighting or whatever. It just pisses me off!

Anyway, we went on a lot of requests together. Some include catching bad guys and killing monsters which made us earn a giant reward. But the reward is always used for repair as Natsu, Gray and Erza always overdoes everything.

Anyway, Gray and Erza are on a request on their own because the request on requires two mages so they both volunteered today. While Happy went on a request with Wendy and Charles.

Wendy is a friend of mine. More like a little sister. I met her on my first day in Fairy Tail.

Charles is her pet neko. She's very protective towards Wendy and she is always cold to Happy as I heard Natsu saying that Happy fell in love with her since they met.

Natsu laughed at Happy's attempt to make her like him but I think it's kinda cute and romantic. Neko love is just so KAWAII! I just hope Happy won't screw this one up like the plans I made for him to win Charles' heart. They all failed with him being slapped in the face.

Anyway, Natsu and I were thinking of going on a mission alone to catch up with the 6 year gap between us. I was so excited.

I was talking to my new best friend Levy McGarden who loves to read as much as I did. We would talk about our favorite books and authors. She would sometimes ask about the novel I was writing to see if it's finished yet.

We were talking about both of our favorite author called Zekua Melon. We both really love his stories. Mostly his romance novels because they'll just make you cry as the ending is so

"Hey Luce!" shouted Natsu. "Yeah?" I said at the table with Levy. "It's your turn to pick a request!" grinned Natsu. "Okay. I'll be right there." I replied back and he nodded and walked towards the request board. "Bye Levy-chan. I have to go now." I said to Levy standing up from my seat.

"Alright. I'll talk to you once you come back alright?" said Levy with a smile. I nodded at her with a smile and said goodbye one last time before walking towards Natsu.

"Hey Natsu." I greeted with a smile. "Hey Luce." he greeted back with his infamous grin which makes him more adorable than he already is. 'Wait what? Did I just call Natsu 'adorable'? I asked myself in my thoughts. I shrugged it off and walked towards the request board.

I scanned through the request board and one request caught my eye. It says:

Attention, I, Hinabi Shinichi is looking for a female mage and a male mage for my request which is is a secret. The request is not that hard at all. The reward is 600,000 jewels. Please give me a call if you would like to accept this request and please meet me at a restaurant located in Hargeon called '8 Island' if you have accepted this request. Thank you.

Address: 1614, 595 Street, Hargeon (A/N: I have no idea what I just wrote but meh... Anyway, on with the story!)

After reading it, I smiled widely and walk towards Natsu who's talking to Nab, a guy who always stands near the request board but never picks a request. "Natsu! I want to go on this one!" I said passing it to Natsu.

Natsu took the paper and started reading it. He looked up to me with a weird face saying, "You want to go on this one?!" I nodded while smiling. "Can't we go on some other one?" asked Natsu.

"It's my turn to pick and I picked this so you have no choice but to accept it and go on the mission with me." I said crossing my arms over my chest.

"But don't you think it'll be dangerous?" said Natsu. "What do you mean by 'too dangerous'?" I asked looking at him curiously. "I mean the request says that the thing we have to do is a secret. What if it's something really dangerous?" said Natsu with his serious face.

I thought about for a while. He's right. We do not know what is the request about but the reward that the person we've helped is extremely a lot so I decided to stick to my decision which is to go on it.

'All I have to do is get Natsu to agree to go with me then we'll be on our way. And I have the perfect idea on how to do it.' I thought smiling deviously on my insides.

I put on my best puppy face and begged him, "But, Natsu... The reward is 600,000 Jewels and that's enough for you to buy a life time supply of food. So please? Hm?"

~Natsu's POV~

I refused to look at her because of the face she is making so I turned the other direction. I always can't say 'No' to her whenever she makes that face. I peered over my shoulder and I saw her make that face which made me turn away.

'Damn her and her Puppy Face of Doom.' I cursed in my mind.

I decided to give up since she will won't stop making that face until I give in so I did. "Ugh... Fine! But you owe me for this!" I shouted at her with an annoyed tone. Luce smiled at me. "How about I treat you to a feast after we've finished this request?" asked Luce. I grinned and said, "Deal!" Then I ran over to Mirajane and gave her the request paper.

Mirajane read the paper and asked, "You two are going on this request?" I nodded in respond so Mirajane wrote it down in her notebook and said, "Alright then. I'll give the person a call and tell them you're coming soon." I thanked her and followed Luce out the guild so we can pack.

Suddenly, something clicked in my mind. To get to Hargeon, I have to ride a... *Gulps* Train... This is going to be a long ride...

~On the train to Hargeon~

"I'm feeling sick..." I said with my face becoming green. "Really Natsu... Is this why you don't want to take the train or a carriage on every of our requests?" asked Luce with worried on her face. I nodded looking like I'm gonna throw up any second now. "Why didn't you tell me you had motion sickness? You never mentioned it when we were young." said Luce.

"Of...course I... d-didn't..." I struggled trying to say the words out. "Why not?" Luce asked.

When I was about to reply, my face became greener and I was really gonna puke. "Kyahhhhh!" shouted Luce. "Don't puke on me!"

Before my vomit came out, I swallowed it back. Luce looked at me with a disgusted face. "Ew! That's disgusting!" she squeled. "W-Whatever..." I said. Luce looked at me with pity and sighed.

She grabbed my head and placed it on her lap. I looked up at her with a green face and all she said was, "You'll feel better if you lay down so try to relax alright?" She smiled at me.

I nodded and relaxed my whole body with my head on Luce's lap. "Feel better?" she asked which made me nod.

"Good. Just stay like that until we reach Hargeon okay? And just sleep if you want. Alright?" smiled Luce which made me nod.

Soon, I felt my eyes starting to feel heavy so I closed my eyes and sleep overtook me.

~After a few hours~

I woke up feeling a lot better. I noticed the train has stopped moving and every passenger is getting ready to get off. I glanced up at Luce and saw her sound asleep. I don't know why but I felt a smile crept up my lips.

I also noticed that my head is still placed on her lap and I can't help but feel a small blush making its way to my cheeks. I got up quickly and turned to Luce. She looks so peaceful and I don't want to wake her but we have a job to do so I shook her.

She groaned a bit before going back to sleep. I shook her again and said softly, "Luce. Luce. Time to wake up." She groaned and mumbled, "Five more minutes, Natsu..." and she went back to sleep again.

I shook her harder and said, "Luce. Luce. Get up already."

Luce groaned and slowly opened her eyes. She stood up and she walked out of the train calling me. "Hurry up or you'll get stuck on the train!" she shouted. I ran out of the train as fast as possible and followed her.

"She said to meet her at a restaurant called '8 Island' but I don't see it anywhere." exclaimed Luce who's now looking for the restaurant. "Of course you don't 'cause you're going the wrong way weirdo." I said with my hands behind my head as I walk.

"I'm not a weirdo!" shouted Luce who was facing me right now. "Whatever. Come on. The restaurant's this way." I said pointing in the other direction not noticing that Luce was freaking pissed right now.

Luce pouted and 'hmph' at me while looking away which I thought was really cute and she started following me.

We walked for a good 10 minutes before arriving at the restaurant. "So this is 8 Island?" asked Luce. I nodded in response.

"Alright then. Come on. Let's go meet this client." said Luce entering the restaurant. I followed her into the restaurant and spotted a lady waving at us. I called Luce and we both headed over to the lady.

~Normal POV~

The lady is in her 20's and she has long brown hair, with black orbs and she has a nice figure too."Hello, are you the one who sent this request?" asked Lucy showing the request paper to the lady.

"Yeah! You must be Lucy Heartfiilia and he must be Natsu Dragneel right?" asked the lady who smiled at both nodded and exchanged a smile with her. She stood up and held her hand out.

"Hi! My name is Hinabi Shinichi and I'm a famous fashion designer! Nice to meet you!" They each shook her hand and she offered them to sit which they did."Okay! Now, let me tell you what I want you to do." said Hinabi. "But first. What do you guys want to eat? It's on me." she said with a smile.

Lucy waved her hands in front of her. "No. It's okay. You don't have to treat us to any food." Lucy declined kindly."Why not?!" asked a surprised Natsu. Lucy elbowed Natsu in the ribs making him shut up.

"As I was saying, we can't accept. We will be able to pay for our own food. You don't have to help us pay."

"It's alright. I'm willing to pay for you guys since you had to travel all the way here for this request."

"But-"

"No buts. It'll be fine so just order something."

"Alright. Thank you."

"Yay! Wonderful! Order whatever you like." exclaimed Hinabi excitedly. "Whatever I like?" asked Natsu who soon recovered from Lucy's elbow punch. Hinabi nodded with a smile in response which made Natsu grab the menu and started scanning for food to order. "Can I order everything?!" asked an excited Natsu.

Lucy elbowed him again but not so hard as before. "Just order one to two dishes! If you order more than that, I'll kill you." glared Lucy with a murderous tone in her voice. Natsu gulped and nodded and ordered a fire chicken, fire whiskey and fire spaghetti. Lucy ordered a strawberry milkshake and a fish and chip.

After a while, their food arrived and Natsu started stuffing his face with it which made Lucy and Hinabi sweatdrop. Lucy smacked him on the head and whispered, "Have some manners would you?!" Natsu gulped his food down and nodded.

Hinabi sweatdropped but smiled at them. "Anyway, are you two a couple?"

Lucy almost choked on her milkshake while Natsu was continuing to stuff his face with food not caring at all.

After recovering from her choking, Lucy stared at Hinabi with a shock expression and a red face. "W-W-What?! N-N-No! We're not a couple!" she stuttered with her face as red as a tomato.

Hinabi made a surprised face and asked, "Really? Oh my god, I'm so sorry! You may punch me in the head for my rudeness." She leaned forward for Lucy to punch her.

Lucy sweatdropped and said, "No, no. It's fine. Really." Hinabi apologized once more before continuing. "I'm sorry, it's just that you two look like an old married couple and that's perfectly what I'm looking for for this request!" exclaimed Hinabi excitedly.

Lucy gave a confused look and asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Hinabi then explained everything the mission to her which made Lucy blushed madly.

"Do we really have to do that?" asked Lucy with a tomato face which resulted in Hinabi nodding her head. "So? Will you accept?"

Lucy sighed and said, "Let me ask the idiot over there first." pointing to Natsu who was across the room looking at a jukebox. Hinabi nodded her head which made stood up from her seat and made her way towards Natsu. She whispered something into his ear and nodded right away.

Lucy made her way back and nodded her head saying they'll take the request. Hinabi smiled and hugged her. "Yay~! Thank you Lu-chan~!"

"Lu-chan?" asked Lucy aloud. Hinabi nodded saying, "Yeah! It's my new nickname for you! Do you not like it?" Lucy shook her head with a smile saying, "No... I love it."
Hinabi grinned and said, "You can call me anything you want too! I won't mind!" Lucy smiled widely and said, "Then I'll call you Hina-chan!" Hinabi nodded her head saying she understands with a smile.

"Alright then! Why don't we make our way back to my mansion so we can start with the mission?" asked Hinabi. "Mansion?" asked Lucy aloud which made Hinabi nod.

"We'll be doing it at my mansion! It's not far from here. It's just a 2 hour train ride. I hope you won't mind though." said Hinabi. "Lucy shook her head saying she didn't mind at all. "Alright then! Let's go!"

They left the restaurant with Lucy dragging Natsu out and onto the train. "NO! Luce~! Let's just walk~!" whined Natsu as he tried to break free from Lucy's death grip. Lucy tightened her grip around his vest and shouted, "I don't care! There's is no way am I walking there just because of your stupid motion sickness!"

As Natsu and Lucy continued to bicker, Hinabi was up in front thinking, 'Just like an old married couple~! So cute~!"

How was it? I know~! Horrible~! I am such a failure~! *Sobs* Anyway, please review, favorite and follow this story please~! I want to know what you guys thought of this chapter~! Flames are allowed~! I won't care about it anyway~!
