~Dreamland~

Waking up to be surrounded by darkness with only small sprit orb lighting up, everything was pitch black, looking around the place I heard a crying sound coming from my left side and not far from me.

"Mai" I look at gene, confused. He was looking at me with such sad eyes.

"gene? Is something wrong" gene nodded his head

"you must not help my stupid brother" gene said "this case is too dangerous for your kids especially you"

"but-" gene stopped me before I could finish

"no but. As soon as yuki tells naru what happen. You must leave understand?"

I nodded my head. "now go. There calling for you"

As soon as gene disappear I heard I the crying again.

'no. Gene already told me not to get involved in this case. I have to wake up ยด

All of a suddenly everything around me felt cold. Tuning around I saw a little boy around yuki and haru age. I froze the boys cloth were cover in blood.

" okay-San" I try to move but coulded. He came closer to me " why did you abandon me?"

He had such lonely and sad eyes.

Mai (POV)

" okay-San wakeeeeuppp" I felt something heavy on top of me. Opening my eye I saw my too little sweet angel. " morning"

" yuki, haru did you wake your oka-San up" Kevin call. Peeking trough the door. Yuki and haru nodded their head.

" morning Kevin"

" morning. Now how about you two help me with choosing what to get for breakfast while your oka-San wash up?"

" Haii!" yuki jump of the bed running to the other room with Kevin.

" what's wrong haru?" I comb through his hair.

" okay-San did you have a nightmare?" Haru look at me if worry eye.

"don't worry your oka-San didn't have any nightmare" I patted his head "now why don't you go help your sister and Kevin choose breakfast while I wash up?"

Haru nodded his head and headed to the other room.

After I finish taking a quick shower I head to the dining room. I could smell I fresh food as I walk downstairs. I trip on nothing and almost down the stairs. I was ready to meet the empact of the fall, I open my eye slowly and I was only a inche from hitting the ground.

Looking up I saw who it was the helped me from falling (can you guess who it was? Yep its the one and only)

"NARU!?" naru helped me back to my feet.

" I see your still as clumsy as ever" naru smirk. Which made want to wipe that smirk off his face.

"why thank you" I said fixing my skirt " now if you would excuse me" I turn toward naru and give him my sweetest smile before I continue to the dining room.

Naru(POV)

As I finish some of the research. I went to look around the place if anything changes, as I turn the corner heading downstairs I saw mai almost falling down the stairs. Luckily I was close by to stop her from falling.

"NARU!?" I helped her to her feet. I see that she's still the same old clumsy mai, which madee smirk.

" I see your still as clumsy as ever"

" why thank you" mai said as she fix her skirt. And it's not like me to say this but she look gorgeous. " now I'd you would excuse me"

Mai turn toward me and smile before she left. Now that caught me by surprise. Her smile toke my breath away. A smile made its way to my lip.

Normal (pov)

Kevin and yuki was getting food ready as haru came in

" where's mai?" Kevin said as he put the plate full of delicious food on the table.

" okay-San says she will be down after she wash up" haru went and help yuki carry the other

Plate full of food. Mai came in just as they were about to eat.

" okay-San your finally here" yuki said as she went and hug mai "we almost ate without you"

" will since I'm here now why don't we eat?" yuki nodded her head and went back to her seat.

Kevin grab the finish plate and put it in the bin for the employe to wash. After finishing their breakfast they went to the SPR base for more questions. (since naru didn't get all the information)

As mai open the door to the SPR base bou-san came fying and hugged her. (what he didn't know was that some one with cold eye was glaring at him)

" mai your finally here!" *WHACK* " ouch!" bou-san shcarthed his head " ayako why did you hit me?!"

" you where squeez in here" ayako push monk aside in hugged mai " I miss you mai"

" why can you hug her and I can't?" monk murmur to himself.

" did I just hear you say something?"

" no nothing. I didn't say anything" Monk whistle

"guys you can do your little chat for later" naru said not once looking away from his laptop.

" say where's masako and John?" ayako ask " oh yeah and jenny"

"i ask masako and John to do me a something and jenny's still in her room"

" so naru what are you going to ask yuki today" mai ask

Naru told yuki to right from where did she saw the spirit.

Mai(pov)

as naru was asking yuki questions and as usual lin is on his laptop typing what yuki says. I went and made some tea for everyone. That was when we heard a scream. We ran to the sence, a employe from the inn was the one who scream.

" are you ok?" yasu ask her. She pointed her hand toward the wall. I gasp the wall had writing on it and it seems to be written with blood. This was what the words on the said on the wall.

" don't get involve in my stupid brother case. It's too dangerous for you" I should have listen to genes warning when I saw those words.
