Hey guys!
I know that I owe you a new chapter of fanfiction, but I actually owe you an apology. I'm sincerely sorry I never completed this fanfiction prior to Mockingjay Part 1 like a wanted to. (And it was completely amazing by the ways!)
Now, if you are wondering if I will finish this fanfiction, I loathe to say that I am not for quite an abundance of reasons. School is a massive one. Homework, tests, projects, studying...there's so much of it that it's stressful and I'm trying to improve my focus on it. Fanfiction is just a distraction from it.
Two, I found so many errors while rereading this. For starters, I messed up so much of the plot of Mockingjay in this fanfiction. I'll give you an example: Portia and Peeta's prep team aren't executed until the night Peeta, Johanna, and Annie are rescued from the Capitol. I know that it is fanfiction and I can change things up but I really targeted to stay very canon to the book. The fact that I didn't bothers me too much and it doesn't help when I try to fix it and write more.
Also, I'm out of ideas for flowing the story together.
But I'm not going to leave you hanging on that last chapter. I have some vague direction as to where I was heading with it, but again, can never accomplish.
-Peeta does his interviews with Caesar and gets hijacked and all
-Johanna continues to conceal rebellion information and gets more torture due to this
-Annie suddenly refuses to do the Capitol propagandas and her refusal gets her sexually assaulted by a Peacekeeper in her sleep that night. Ed, who knew this, is able to help stop the forced pregnancy by giving her a Capitol medication that prevents pregnancy. This is why Annie was only in a sheet when she reunited with Finnick in District 13 (And this was inspired by a conspiracy theory I found on Tumblr)
-They get rescued and you know District 13 stuff
I really am sorry guys. I thought I'd be able to publish a completed fanfiction but the truth is that I can't stick to it. If I ever write a fanfiction again, I'm going to complete it first before publishing it, to make sure it has a shot.
However, I do have a proposition for you. If you want to try and write some of the chapters with some of the information I gave you above, go ahead and write it and send it to me via PM box thing. Haha. But seriously...if you would like to, I'd be more than happy to publish it on this fanfiction and give credit to you. Something to keep in mind if you do do this...notice that all my chapters are named after Taylor Swift songs. If you can, try to find a way to incorporate a Taylor Swift song title in the writing somewhere. And if you absolutely can't but still want to write...that's okay too.
But thank you guys so much for reading, following, favoriting, reviewing, etc. Even though I never finished this, it was amazing to get all these while I was. I hope you guys have some great holidays!
