Yeah. You get sick sometimes. But take advantage of it and milk it for all it's worth. If you do it right, you can wrap someone around your finger.
-Me; AglonAuthor.

Turns out, Marie did have the flu. No one let her get out of bed for quite a while and she couldn't stand it. Whenever someone came in to give her something or check on her, she'd throw a mild fit. It wasn't exactly kicking and screaming though. It was more puppy-dog eyes and beg to get out. She very well knew someone would crack eventually, so she kept trying. And it worked. Bruce okayed Marie get out of bed soon. She would have been jumping for joy if she had not been sick.
She walked into the living room and spotted Steve sitting on the couch. She got up on the couch and sat next to him. He set down his book and smiled. "Hey, Marie. You feel alright?" Steve didn't really worry about catching the flu from her. He'd never been sick after getting his super serum.
Marie shrugged. "I guess. I know I'm not better yet but I'm getting better." She grinned and Steve smiled.
"I bet you are," he said. Marie smiled and scooted closer to him. She snuggled up and closed her eyes. Steve was a bit taken aback. The Marie he knew would never trust anyone so easily. Of course, it was probably a child-like innocence thing. But even so, she had only known him for two days! But there she was, snuggled up all close to the super soldier. Then again, it could be that she felt a connection with him like when she was an adult. He smiled and picked up his book again.
After several minutes, he heard the click of a camera. He looked up and saw Lily with a camera in hand. "Awwwwww!" she cooed. "That's so cute!"
Steve's cheeks flushed pink. "She's four years old," he muttered.
"And you're ninety-five."
Steve shot Lily an annoyed glance before going to his book again. Marie stirred in her sleep but did not awake. Lily left the room with a grin on her face. Steve felt Marie move again and he looked at her. Her face was bright red and she was curled up with her head on his lap. Steve put the back of his hand on her forehead. She was burning up.
Steve set down his book and carried the sleeping child back to her room. He set Marie down on her bed and her eyes fluttered open. She sniffled and sat up, knees pulled close to her chest. "I don't feel good," she said.
Steve sat on the edge of the bed. The cream colored mattress dipped under his weight. "Well what is is that doesn't feel good?"
"My chest," she muttered.
"You want me take you to Doctor Banner?" he asked.
"You mean Bruce?" she wondered.
Steve nodded. "Yes, Bruce."
Marie nodded. Steve picked the light child up and walked down to the labs where he found, not Bruce, but Tony. Tony looked up from his experiments to turn the Trio normal again and choked on a laugh. Steve's eyes narrowed into a glare. "Do you know where Dr. Banner is?" he asked.
"Jolly green? Dunno." Tony shrugged and walked over. "Why?"
"I don't feel good," said Marie quietly.
"If I see him I'll tell him. For now, you should just sleep." Marie nodded.
"Okay."
"I'm sorry to interrupt," said JARVIS, "but Mr. Odinson has returned with Mr. Lauefyson."
Tony clapped his hands together. "Actually, you should both get to the living room."

In Parker's child state, she had not yet met Thor. He went to find Loki right after he attacked the restaurant. Thor stood in the middle of the room with a cuffed Loki by his side. Marie put her face into Steve's shoulder. To a four year old, the two Norse gods in the room did looked pretty threatening. Steve set Marie down and she held onto his pant leg, cautiously looking up at Thor. It was easy to tell Marie was frightened by the two newcomers.
She looked up at Steve then back at Thor. She shied away but still remained brave enough to ask a question. "Why do you have a big hammer?" she asked timidly.
Thor chuckled. His booming laughter made the child frightened even more so. "Hello, Marie. My name is Thor. I just always carry my hammer with me." He looked over at the other Avengers and Golden Trio members. "Shall we begin?"
"Might as well," said Lily.
"Come on, Marie," said Elizabeth, taking her hand and leading the four year old to the center of the room. "We're gonna do something good, okay?" The young child nodded.
"Do you really think I will do this?" asked Loki. "If so, you're mistaken."
"If you do it I might be able to convince Father to shorten your punishment," Thor said.
Loki glared at him and it was clear he was debating his options. "Very well." He turned to the trio. "You call yourselves…The Golden Trio?" Elizabeth nodded. Lily shrugged. Marie was confused. "Typical." Elizabeth glared. Lily rolled her eyes. Marie was confused.
"This spell will work instantly. I suggest you find something more fitting for your next size."
Both Lily and Elizabeth looked down at themselves. The clothes they currently wore would definitely not work. "Anyone have any one-size-fits-all pants?" Lily asked.

After quickly changing into some neutral colored sweatpants and t-shirts, Lily and Elizabeth were ready. There wasn't much that could be down about Marie. She still didn't understand the situation. They resorted to making sure she continued to wear her current close, and made sure she was wrapped up in a large white blanket that had come from her bedroom. "But why?" she asked.
"It'll all make sense later," Tony said.
Marie sat on the floor looking curiously up at Loki. Lily and Elizabeth shifted uncomfortably. "Okie Dokie, Loki," said Elizabeth. "We're ready."
"You will be unconscious after the effects take place," informed Loki. "You will regain consciousness within three hours." He held a small object in his hand. It began to glow green. Marie's eyes were wide in both confusion and amazement.
Something was off and Lily knew it. There was a look in Loki's eyes that yelled 'trouble!' She narrowed her eyes and went with her gut instinct. Besides, he's a bad guy anyway. Why should he be trusted? Lily leapt at the god of mischief, making the object falter in it's glow and clatter to the ground, engulfing the trio and Loki in a bright green light.
When the light faded, the Avengers looked upon the scene. "You have got to be kidding me," Clint said with a groan.
An adult Lily was lying on the floor, but everyone else involved in the magic mishap looked about five years old.
Steve: Oh boy…
Tony: PERFECT! Thanks, AglonAuthor! Now we have to deal with a child Loki too?
Me: …Yes…
Tony: *facepalm*
