Hehe, sorry for the long wait. I promise to update tomorrow though cus it'll be a Christmas special chapter :)

Me: HEY! GUESS WHAT!

Natasha: What?

Me: I…don't…own you…

Clint: Good. If you did we'd all be screwed.

Me: *scowl*

You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

"Stop it, Loki!" said Elizabeth. She had her hands on her hips and was glaring at Loki. He was glaring up at Lily and shouting at her. He kept kicking her legs and Lily just ignored him.

He turned to Elizabeth with a glare. Marie watched this scene before realizing she was in the middle of it. Loki stormed passed her, making her fall to the ground. Marie looked at him with tear brimmed eyes. Clint picked up Marie and stood in between Elizabeth and Loki. They both looked up at him. "Knock it off," he said simply.

"You can't order me around, mortal!" said Loki.

"Really?" asked Clint. "'Cause I'm pretty sure I have the power to put you in an alleyway and see what happens to you. Plenty of weirdos would be glad to snatch up a six year old off the streets of New York." He walked over to the couch and set Marie down on it. Then he heard more arguing from Wonder and Loki. He groaned. "I need backup!" he yelled.

Steve walked over. "I'll look after Parker." Clint nodded and went back over to the fighting duo. Steve sat on the couch next to Marie. "Hey, Marie. You remember me?" Marie nodded. "How old are you?"

"Five," she whispered.

"Okay. That means it's been a year since you've seen us, right?" Marie nodded.

"YOU INSUFFERABLE MORTAL!" came a cry from across the room.

Lily was looking in the cupboards for a snack when Steve walked into the kitchen. She looked up and smiled at the super soldier. "Hey, Cap," she greeted.

"Hi. Um…Is there something big that happened to Parker between ages four and five?" Lily froze. "She's a lot less talkative and she…well…has scars…"

Lily closed the cupboard door with a sigh. "Yeah, something did happen. I didn't meet her until I was eleven, so I don't know what the effects were. But yes something happened and yes I know what it is."

There was a small pause. "Would Parker haunt you in your sleep if you told me?"

Lily chuckled. "Not positive. Maybe not seeing your…well…dating her." She opened the fridge door. "On her fifth birthday, she was kidnapped." Steve's eyes went wide. "It was mostly an accident. She was sleeping in the car when someone tried to steal the vehicle. They were nearly to their hideout when Parker woke up." Lily found some custard and set it down on the table. "They didn't mean to take her, but knew that if he just brought her back, she would be able to identify. The man who took her…he was her dad's best friend and her godfather. I guess she had a hard time trusting adults for a long time after that." She pulled out a box of fish fingers and put them on the table also.

Cap looked at her food choices and raised an eyebrow in question. Lily shrugged. "I've been having strange cravings ever since the change."

Elizabeth sat on a couch on one end of the room and Loki sat in a chair on the other. They glared at each other from a distance. Tony came in and clapped his hands together. "Well this is one strange staring contest…" he remarked.

"Stark–" began Elizabeth.

"Couldn't you just cast another spell?" he asked Loki. "Get yourself back to normal?"

"Don't you think I've tried?" he asked in a growl. "I can't; presumably because I won't learn the proper spell for another ten years." Elizabeth stared at Loki, wide eyed.

"What?! So we're stuck like this? We're stuck like this for ten years?"

"It's quite possible."

"I hate being a six year old! Seriously! It was the worst year of my life! I couldn't reach my counters, I couldn't see into my bathroom mirror, and I came up to my father's knees! I was a shrimp! I hated being six!"

Elizabeth slid off the couch and walked across the room. She jumped on the chair and started wrestling with Loki. Tony slowly backed off. "What are you doing, mortal?!"

"We're stuck like this for ten years?!" she yelled in rage, attacking Loki like a six year old. Which is in no particular way.

"OW!"

Marie walked into her room and looked around. She walked over to the bed and sat on it. She saw a bookshelf across the room and instantly jumped off the bed to get a better look. She took out 'The Great Mouse Detective' and began looking at the pictures.

There was a light knock on the door and it creaked open. Lily stepped inside. She smiled at Marie, who was absentmindedly scooting away. "Hi, Marie. My name's Lily. Like the girl you met last time." She noticed Marie relax and she walked over, then sitting on the edge of the bed. "Whatcha reading?" asked Lily. Marie held up the book. Lily grinned. "Ah. Detective stories. I love those. You want me to read it to you?" Marie nodded eagerly. Lily accepted the book and turned to the first page.

Lily began to read the story and didn't notice Marie crawling into the bed. She continued reading, using a different voice for each character, using her best British accent. She paused as she tried to turn a page that was stuck to another. Lily glanced over and saw that her transformed team leader was asleep. She smiled and put the book on the nightstand beside Marie's bed. She quietly got up and snuck out of the room.

Clint: Wow…fish fingers and custard.

Lily: YES! Doctor Who for the win! Oswin!

Clint: *facepalm*
