I don't own Naruto
Sorry I took so long. High school is just keeping me up so late that I can't even work on my fanfiction. Also, I am now in Junior Varsity Cheerleading so it might take me longer, but I will use every second I have to write this.
At Sakura's House:
It was dawn and Sakura was just waking up. The sun was just above the horizon, but it was not the kind of day to be lounging around for Sakura. Today was the final round of the Chuunin exams.
"Once it's my turn to fight, I'm going to show all of Konoha my true power." Sakura said out loud with a smirk on her face.
This was a big day for all of Team 7 and none of its members were going to lose to their opponents.
At the Arena:
Sakura had just reached the arena. The sounds of cheering citizens from the leaf and a few other villages could be heard at least a mile away.
As Sakura passed the two shinobi that were standing on either side of the entrance, Sakura could hear them whispering to each other behind her.
"Hey, is that the Haruno girl?"
"Ya, looks like it is. I heard that during the preliminaries, she won without putting up a real fight."
"Are you serious? There's no way that a genin her size, not to mention that she is a girl, could win those rounds without putting at least some effort."
Sakura was getting a little annoyed and insulted by these two who don't even know what she is actually capable of and stopped right in her tracks. This caused the two shinobi to stop talking and look at her. Sakura slowly turned around, her eyes dark and deadly.
"If you don't believe what you heard, then I suggest that you should just watch me when my round comes."
Her voice was low and heavy. And the two shinobi were almost going to cry from how Sakura spoke. She was terrifying them big time.
Once Sakura had entered the arena and joined the rest of the genin, she noticed that Naruto wasn't there. But of course, he came running in about thirty minutes later as fast as he could.
"Well, it's about time that he showed up." Sakura said thinking to herself out loud.
Once Naruto had reached the group, the crowd was cheering loudly.
Sakura looked up to where the Third Hokage was seated and noticed that the Fourth Kazekage was taking his seat as well next to him. But Sakura could see that something didn't seem right about the Kazekage. She had visited the Village Hidden in the Sand multiple times and had also met the Kazekage himself. They both knew each other very well and were also good friends. But what she saw looked like him, but she knew that it wasn't him. There was something off about his eyes. She had seen those eyes somewhere before because they were too familiar to her and she hated them.
"Alright, the terrain's different, but but the rules are the same as before, that is that there are no rules." said the proctor. "The match continues until one candidate acknowledges defeat or dies. If I determine that a match is over I can step in and stop it at any time. And no arguments permitted. Understood? These are the opponents for the first match. Naruto Uzumaki and Temari. Those two stay. The rest of you can go to the waiting area."
After that being said, the rest of the genin left while Naruto and Temari stayed. They then faced one another.
"Alright, now let the first match...begin."
The stadium soon filled with cheers.
The two opponents stood facing each other for a few seconds, waiting for the other to make their move.
Naruto soon got a little impatient and then threw a kunai at Temari, who simple blocked it with wind from her fan and caused it to fly back towards Naruto. He then dodged his own kunai by jumping own of the way, but fell onto his stomach.
Temari then let her fan show all three moons and caused a blast of wind so strong you would've thought that a tornado was headed that way. Once the wind hit Naruto, he ended up crashing into the stadium wall and creating a dent in it.
Naruto soon got back up and said in between pants, "Is that the best you you can do?"
Temari scoffed, "I'm just warming up." She blasted more wind from her fan, but this time Naruto avoided it and started to charge towards her with a kunai in his hand.
(A/N: I can't think of much for Naruto's battle so I'm just going to say that the match lasted for about 30 minutes and Nauto wouldn't give up and eventually used the Nine Tails chakra like in his match in the show and won.)
"The winner is Naruto Uzumaki." said the proctor.
Naruto was jumping for joy and then it was time for Sakura's match.
Once the two genin left the ring, Sakura and Neji entered it.
"Let's just see how strong the Hyuuga clan really is." thought Sakura as she and Neji faced each other.
The crowd was quiet, as if it was holding its breath. The air was filled with tension for this match.
"Now, let the next match begin."
Simultaneously, Neji activated his Byakugan and Sakura activated her Camigan, only this time, instead of a diamond pupil, there was an empty circle encompassing most of the center of her eyes.
Both of them were looking at each others chakra and Neji's eyes widened a bit when he saw the amount of chakra that Sakura had, but still kept a straight face.
Sakura saw this and decided to make Neji believe what he was seeing. She just a little bit of chakra flow out of her fingers and into her hand. Sakura then brought it up to her stomach and pressed against it.
"Summoning Jutsu." said Sakura and then her two headed wolf appeared hanging on her shoulders with both heads on either side of hers and the crowd was surprised by this.
Kakashi was stunned by this.
"How can a genin do a Summoning Jutsu? I have never seen one attempt it before, much less without using any blood." Kakashi said almost in a whisper.
Neji looked at Sakura's wolf with his Byakugan.
"How can it be possible for an animal to be made entirely out of chakra?" Neji thought, but then he smirked. "I guess that this girl might actually be quite an amusing opponent for me."
"Don't worry Neji, I'll just save you the trouble and let you know one thing." said Sakura as her wolf got down from her back and was standing right beside her. "My wolf here, Yin and Yang, maybe made out of chakra, but they don't have chakra points like I do."
Sakura got down in the position when someone runs in the Olympics, only her front foot was below her chest, back foot was pointing out to the side, and one of her hands had its palm facing downward by her torso and the other had its palm facing towards Neji.
"Lets have some fun now, shall we?" declared Sakura.
Then, Sakura disappeared and was no where to be seen. The only thing standing there was her two headed wolf, but Yin and Yang just laid down like an old house dog. Even though they looked like they were being lazy, what Neji didn't know was that the wolf was actually preparing to do a special jutsu that not even the Byakugan could detect was happening.
Suddenly, Sakura appeared right behind Neji and gave him a powerful punch in the face, but something wasn't quite right. Sakura's punch didn't even touch him even though she hit Neji directly. And then, she saw it. Her fist appeared to be blocked by chakra. She then jumped a few meters back before she could be repelled.
"Don't think that you have won this match yet." smirked Neji.
He then ran towards Sakura with lightning speed, but before Sakura could do anything. she was hit right in the stomach and pain flowed through her body. Strangely as it seems though, she was prepared for something like this. Sakura relaxed her body to absorb the pain and then pointed two fingers right next to each other and had them touching side by side and then touched Neji with them, causing the pain to enter his body. Neji did feel the pain, but he was one person who could stand the effects of his own attack.
Even though he could withstand the pain, the one thing that he didn't expect was the impact to come along with it. Thus, causing him to fly back a few meters before stopping himself from going back any further.
Neji could see that the pink haired kunoichi was holding back it made everything seem off. Why would she be holding back, unless she was waiting for something. He then looked at Sakura's two headed wolf (for those who don't remember, the wolf is made out of chakra) and saw that it was slowly releasing the chakra that it had already built up inside of it. The chakra was then surrounding the two headed wolf.
Yin and Yang had the chakra soon take the shape of something that was not even close to their form. In fact, the shape that the chakra was forming itself into was a different kind of animal. One that was more of a demon than an actual animal.
After a few moments, the crowd and Neji could see the chakra's shape more clearly and were shocked by what the chakra had soon turned into almost.
The creature's eyes were literally those of a demon. Claws that were sharp as kunais. It's teeth looked as if they could bite through metal while the scales that covered it's whole body up to it's tail appeared to be like iron plates. The wings on the back of this beast looked as if they could not be torn by anything. Most of the people almost thought that this creature would be considered the devil himself. But the rest knew quite well for what this beast was. They thought this thing never even existed, but what they saw right there was not their imagination.
Soon, the chakra had taken a solid shape and was sitting down like a dog filled with pride. It was sitting behind Yin and Yang, but looked as if it didn't care about the twin headed wolf and just looked at Sakura like it was waiting for her orders.
Sakura smiled, but it was not a warm hearted smile. No, it was a smile that showed the traits for a story to happen and one that everyone should know. She showed no fear towards the monster and it showed no actions that symbolized that it was going to attack. Instead, when it saw her smile, the creature waited a few seconds and then let out and ear bursting roar.
Sakura then looked at Neji, who was starting to shake a little. (now this just cracks me up) She started to speak.
"Yes, what you see here is no illusion. In fact, what you see here is the creature that resembles my clan. The beast that our chakra originated from."
Her voice was filled with pride, but at the same time, it had a bit of a sickly sound to it, as if she was getting to the best part of what she was going to say.
"I am not going to lie to everyone here. Because, I want them all to know my whole story. I'll start with what you see. Right in front of you is..."
The air was soon getting dense with tension as Sakura said the words slowly and clearly.
"A dragon."
I am glad that I have finished. Since I have just started Thanksgiving break, I will be able to type up my stories faster. High school is difficult, but I will make sure I don't waste everyone's time because I don't like to keep people waiting.
