Chapter Five: A secret Is revealed

Dipper's POV

So right now Mabel is talking to Grunkle Stan to see if I can stay. Ugh, I need to find out how to fix this quick. Like ASAP. I mean, right now I'm a teenage girl! Wait... no Dipper, you like girls, remember? I mean after hearing what mom and dad were talking about two years ago...

Flashback

13-year-old Dipper Pines was walking to the pantry to grab a snack, when he heard voices talking I in the other room.

"I'm telling you Ashley, It's not ok for him to be liking his same gender! "

"But, Henry-"

"Ashley, I know that It's not his fault, that he's like this, but no son of mine, will EVER be in a relationship with his own gender, because If he is, he's no son of mine." Dipper, as quietly as he could, raced up the stairs, wIth a granola bar. By this point, Dipper had heard enough to understand the message:

Love girls or be shunned from his family.

End flashback

Ever since I overheard that conversation, over the next two years I tried my hardest to at least acted that I liked girls. Hell, I actually asked Hannah Randle to go with me to the fall dance! If I was twelve and had done it, I would've felt like I had died & gone to heaven, but ever since I was thirteen, I was Into guys. The only person who kno is Mabel. Now that I'm fifteen, I don't want to disappoint my father, but I can't go on like this forever. At some point, I'm going to have to tell my father that I like guys. Pfft. Like that day will come. Oh, here comes Mabel.

"Yo, Meg!" She yells while walking over to me.

"Yeah, Mabel?" I asked.

"So My great uncle wanted to talk to you uh, face to face, y'know? So I told him that I'd come and ask you If that'd be ok with you."

"Yeah that be totally fine!" I then asked, "Mabel, can you help me a little bit? I'm pretty sure something's wrong with my ankle."

"What? Ok yeah of course I'll help you! Sohhe's In his office, which Is this door at the end of the hall."

"Ok thanks." I walked to the door that was leading to Stan's offIce, (with help from Mabel), then I knocked and heard hIm say, "Come In!"
