Disclaimer: I don't own anyone, sadly. :( You wanna give them to me maybe?

It had been a day after you had woken up and you were still in the medical bay of Starship Enterprise, much to your dismay. Both Kirk and Spock had insisted that you still 'weren't well' and that you needed to be under surveillance for at least two days more. Dang it, you were bored out of your mind and no one would let you leave the room.

"Dang it, Bones, how much blood do you fricken need from me?" You asked. McCoy had wanted to see how Khan's blood had affected yours and he was taking what seemed to you a bit more than necessary.

"Four vials," he said, preparing the fourth and final vial for use. You sighed. When someone took only one, you felt dizzy and a bit disoriented. You were way past that point by now.

It was then that Spock came into the room, Kirk following behind him.

"Hey, guys," your voice sounded a bit strange and high pitched. You were going a bit loopy. You let out a high pitched giggle and everyone looked at you strangely.

"(F/n), are you alright?" Kirk asked. He couldn't help but laugh at your wide smile, a smile you barely wore in the presence of others.

"Yeah, I'm fine," McCoy finished taking your blood and left the room to analyze it. Spock and Kirk stood by your bed, just looking at you.

"Can I just speak to Spock?" You asked. You had been meaning to talk to him for a while, and now seemed like the perfect time. Kirk nodded and turned to leave.

"Spock, I've been meaning to talk to you about this for a while," you paused for a bit to concentrate, "We need to keep our relationship secret." He cocked his head a bit and looked at you strangely.

"But (f/n), is there really a need for that?" He asked you. He wasn't sure if what you were saying now could be taken as final, as you were currently starting to stare off into space.

"Of course! We could be made fun of or separated by Kirk or..." You trailed off slightly.

"(F/n), I think you just need to rest for now," Spock said. He then walked out of the room, leaving you alone.

You sighed, knowing that he was probably right. You lay down and pulled the covers over you, waiting for sleep to come.

"So what did (f/n) want to talk to you about?" Kirk asked Spock. The two of them were walking around, seeing if anything needed to be done and the like, as they were slightly at a standstill.

"Nothing relative to you," Spock replied, refusing to look at Kirk. He wasn't sure about what you had said earlier, about keeping it secret, but he decided it was probably be the best option.

"Captain, I'm going to go back to the bridge. If I am needed, you can find me there," Spock said. He turned on his heel and made his way away from Kirk. Kirk was confused, but decided to go with it.

"Can I go now?" you asked McCoy. You honestly felt plenty better, and you were bored out of your mind.

"Wait until the blood tests come back," he said. He had sent in your blood to the lab about an hour earlier and the results had not yet come back.

"And how long will that take?" you asked, giving a frustrated sigh. You slumped back down onto your pillows.

"However long it takes," McCoy said, a certain amount of sarcasm in his voice.

You were half tempted to throw a pillow at him, but you knew it wouldn't help your case, so you abandoned that let him leave the room and you closed your eyes for a moment, loving the silence. Then a loud thumping noise jolted you back to reality. You opened your eyes slightly. It was Kirk.

"Hey, Kirk," you said, closing your eyes again. It wasn't like a big deal that he was here, and you felt fine being yourself around him.

"(F/n), I'm here to talk to you about Spock," your eyes flew open and you looked over at him, trying to keep your face blank.

"What about Spock?" you asked, looking to see if there was any clue as to his intentions in his face.

"What were you two talking about earlier?" he asked, moving closer to your bed. Of course this is what he wanted to talk to you about! You sighed, not sure what to say.

"Relationships," you were telling the truth, but you made the truth a bit vague.

"What sort of relationships?" Kirk probed further.

"Relationships with him..." you were going against everything you had said earlier about keeping it a secret, but you didn't care too much.

"Are, are you and Spock dating?" he asked, a grin spreading on his face. He had been saying a few days earlier while you were out cold that you and Spock would make a cute couple and now it could be coming true!

"Yes," you grinned sheepishly, "But don't let Spock know that you know! It could ruin it all!"

"Okay, scouts honor," Kirk said, smiling. He could definitely keep it a secret for a few days...

"Thanks!" you said, giving him a reassured smile. You could trust him to keep it a secret.

It had been a few hours later when McCoy found out the results of your blood test. You were currently sleeping when he entered your room.

"Wake up, (f/n)!" he called. You jerked awake, and wiped the sleep out of your eyes.

"Dang it, Bones, I was sleeping!" you slapped him lightly on the arm, more playfully than a means of dealing pain.

"I got your blood tests back," he said smugly, holding up the paper with all of your information. You snatched it from him and glanced over it, looking for anything particularly alarming.

"So I'm all good then?" you asked handing the paper back to Bones. He nodded once and you jumped out of the bed. You grabbed your books and other items from their various places around the room and rushed out the door, clutching them all to your chest.

"See ya, Bones!" you called. Freedom at last! The only thing holding you back was a slight pain in your leg.

About an hour later, you had showered, put on your Star Fleet uniform, and some makeup. You were deciding whether or not to go and find Spock when the door to your quarters opened and none other than Spock entered the room. You smiled and went to give him a hug. It was awkward at first, but he soon relaxed and joined your hug.

"They let you out, then," Spock said, looking at the large array of stuff you had discarded on your bed when you had gotten back to your quarters.

"Yeah, my leg sort of hurts, but I think it's because I haven't used it in a while," you said, bending over to massage your leg a bit. Khan had stomped on your leg after you passed out and sprained it. You weren't sure if it was totally healed yet, and the pain had become increasingly worse.

"Can you walk?" Spock asked, concerned.

"Yeah, it just hurts," you said. You were determined not to let a silly hurt leg slow you down, "Does Kirk need me?"

"Not that I have heard. We can check," Spock said. You nodded once to confirm his decision and began limping towards the door. Okay, you lied: it was very hard to walk. You cringed in pain and sat down.

"Do you need help?" You looked up to see Spock looming over you. You nodded.

"Can you get me crutches from Bones?" You asked. You sighed. You hated being dependent on other people for things. You felt bad that someone had to help you, so you tended to do things on your own.

"I'll be back," Spock left you on the ground, you trying your best not to hurt your leg any further.

He returned about 10 minutes later with a pair of crutches.

"Will these work?" He asked, handing the crutches to you. You nodded and accepted the crutches. You used them to help yourself up and put them under your arms.

"Let's go," Spock opened the door for you and you awkwardly used your crutches to maneuver through it and out to the hallway. You saw a lot of familiar crew members as you made your way down the hallways, but you didn't stop to talk. You had a place you were going to, and nothing could detain you.

The bridge doors zipped open and you and Spock walked on to the bridge.

"How are you doing?" Kirk asked you. You grimaced and tried to cover it up with a grin of sorts.

"I've been through better," you said, "We came to see if there was anything we could do to help."

"Well, we just got an alert about Klingons in the area and we were asked to investigate. There isn't much you can do besides hang out and hope for the best," Kirk said, "Spock on the other hand can help Ahura over there." Spock turned on his heel and went to where Ahura was standing by a blinking screen.

"Anything else going on between you and Spock?" Kirk asked you, his voice just below a whisper. You gave him a playfully annoyed look and shook you head no.

"What more do you expect, a huge announcement by the end of the month?" I smiled at his slightly shocked look.

"No," his face changed into a strange smile, "Are you hinting at something, (f/n)?"

"Absolutely not!" You made a fake shocked face and then gestured to an empty chair by his, "Mind if I sit here?"

Kirk nodded and you sat down, laying your crutches against the chair.

"So, Klingons huh?"
