Jason was dreaming, he had to, because no human could survive in an alien nest for more than a few seconds. He was standing in a quite large corridor, from what he knew the aliens had their nest in the tallest building on the planet, everything was covered with this hardened resin-like secretion.
He saw a few here and there, including the one that just happened to be in his house two floors above him. When he passed by others, they mocked him, how he could understand them he did not know, they laughed, they called him smaller and weaker.
- I guess aliens aren't all that different from humans... He thought.
Alien sped up, running down to the lowest floors of the building, it was full of strangers, those who were here with various disabilities.
Some had one or two limb missing, others had wounds that would never properly heal, and others were quite normal except for the fact that they were the size of a ten-year-old human child.
Alien with eyes approached the four who were standing a little farther from the rest.
The tallest of them limped on one leg and had a nasty scar on his face and one eye was missing.
The other had one arm missing and its tail was completely limp.
The third looked healthy, but after a close look, it turned out that he had a deformed spine, which made him unable to walk upright, and even walking on all fours seemed to cause discomfort.
The fourth was the height of a ten-year-old child, and he could only guess that was why he was here.
- What happened? The tallest one asked.
- I can't take it anymore... The alien began, and his voice was oddly feminine. Jason bent down and brazenly looked between the legs, noticing a barely visible gap ... I'm tired of this discrimination.
- As we all. The one with the deformed spine replied.
- Do you know who I saw today? She started.
- Whom? The one with no arm asked.
- My host.
- What's so special about it?... started one-armed... Everyone's here. He pointed to the body with the hole in the chest.
- That, he's alive... The four of them looked at her, even the little one who had been playing with a piece of plank... And even killed the scout.
- Impressive. Said the highest
- I'm going to watch him... She started... I really want to meet him.
- I'll kill you. The smallest one squealed. The tallest looked at him and he went back to playing with the plank.
- He kind of right... The tallest one started, placing a huge hand on her shoulder... You have to be careful. If he gave the scout advice, he can give you advice.
- I know... She started... Especially since im doesn't want to hurt him...
The image began to blur, and Jason felt himself waking up... though he wasn't sure who exactly.
