Now on to the story.

The silver tabby hissed and launched himself forward, swiping his claws over his face.

"Rainstar!" he yowled, "Look what one of the ForestClan cats did to Stormfeather! He almost blinded her before I managed to fight him off!"

Stormfeather hissed, staggering to her feet, "You'll pay," she whispered.

Perchpelt was already running towards a group of cats before Stormfeather could claw him. She heard a cat coming towards her, 'Rainstar' she thought. "Stormfeather! Are you ok?" said an unknown cat.

"Oakfur?" she called.

"Yes but are you ok?" he replied.

"I'm fine but Perchpelt… why do you care?"

Oakfur was taken back by this. "What's with the attitude? I was just asking if you're ok."

"You don't understand!" Stormfeather yowled.

"Understand what?" he questioned.

"Perchpelt, he's such a fox-heart!"

"I knew that but what did he do?"

"He protected Amberleaf and clawed me" she spat.

"I can't believe he hurt you, I'll claw him for that! You should tell Rainstar." Oakfur yelled.

"I can't, he'll kill me and Rainstar won't believe me, he's the deputy." she sighed.

"I'll protect you." he purred.

Stormfeather looked at her friend, he purred when he said that. "Oakfur did you just-" The she-cat was cut off by yowling.

"LakeClan, we are sad to announce that Pinestar is in StarClan." said a ForestClan cat. There was gasps form the clan then whispering; finally Rainstar got up and spoke.

"He will be missed but how did this happen?" she asked.

"We think blood loss, Aspentail will be going too the Sky Oak tonight" said the medicine cat. Before they knew it ForestClan had gone.

Cats were swarming around her. Some were yowling, others were screaming and some were frozen still. Then she saw them, cats with red eyes, clawing, biting and chasing. Suddenly everything went into slow motion; she could see fur flying and blood dipping from wounds. Then a glowing cat came down and stood in front of her. "Quick wake up! You shouldn't be here, someone wake her up!" said the glowing cat. Stormfeather jolted awake, she was panting and boiling hot. She looked around; she was in the warrior's den, with Oakfur curled around her. 'It was just a dream' she thought. She felt movement. "You're awake." said the voice. Stormfeather looked up and saw Oakfur looking down on her.

"Why are you curled around me?"

"I saw you twitching and whimpering so I tried to comfort you. What were you dreaming about anyways?"

"I'm not sure but I need to tell Rainstar."

Stormfeather padded to the leader's den and stoped at the entrance. "Rainstar" she called.

"Stormfeather it's early, is this important?" questioned the leader.

"Yes, otherwise I wouldn't be here" she responded.

"Come in."

"I know medicine cats normally are the ones that have dreams but I had a dream last night and I need your opinion."

The leader tilted head. "Go on"

"There were cats around me, running away and fighting but then I saw cats with red eyes, they were attacking the others. Then a glowing cat came and told me to wake up and I did." Stormfeather finished.

"They were blood cats but… this can't be happening, get Ivytail, we need her."

Stormfeather ran and got Ivytail then returned to the leader.

"I'm glad you could come Ivytail." said Rainstar.

"No problem but why am I here?" the medicine cat asked.

"It's time to tell Stormfeather about the prophecy."

"Are you sure Rainstar?"

"Yes now tell her."

"So I received a prophecy from StarClan and we think you are involved, Beware of a shadow that will cause a storm, for only she can calm it. Blood will engulf the forest by seeping into the lake, it will take a great storm to wash it away." Ivytail said.

"So you think the storm is me?" Stormfeather asked.

"This is what we have so far, something is trying to destroy the forest by infiltrating LakeClan." said Rainstar.

"And there are two storms a good one and a bad one." Ivytail added.

"Rainstar said the cats were blood cats, could that mean the blood?" asked Stormfeather.

"Good thinking but that would mean they would be tying to take over." said Rainstar.

"In my dream, the glowing cat said I shouldn't be there."

"Then you may be more important then we thought." said Rainstar.

Oakfur's P.O.V

My pelt is like fire and my heart thumping faster than a rabbit. Lately I haven't seen Stormfeather as a friend, more of a love interest. I thought I wouldn't fall for her but she is just… I can't explain it. She wouldn't say yes if I asked her, to be my mate of course. We were friends since we were kits but I'm not a kit anymore and neither is she. I have no idea if she loves a tom, she would tell me right? And there she is, coming over from the leaders den; I wonder what took so long. I walk over too her and open my mouth. "What took you so long?" I asked.

"Something confusing, wait were you waiting for me?" she asked.

"Ah…no… of course not." I managed too say.

"So Oakfur are you ok, you seem nervous?"

My fur is as hot as ever. "Um... No... I'm fine!" 'Mouse brain!' I thought. "So, did you ever think of having kits, Stormfeather." I asked uncomfortably.

She stared at me with a confused expression and then finally spoke.

"Kits, no I haven't but I guess I don't have a mate yet." she answered

I looked up, I found her looking into my eyes, I just stood there keeping my gaze fixed with hers and smiled.

The sun was setting on the horizon; an orange-pink glow bathed the sky. The small waves of the lake, lapped at the shore. The few trees rustled, the wind blowing small leaves off the skinny branches.

A hunting party had just returned with a decent catch. The clan settled into clearing where they shared tongues and their meals. Stormfeather walked over too her siblings and sat down, pushing a perch in the middle of the group. Silversky was the first to speak. "I saw you talking with Oakfur and you staring at him." she said.

"Get over your-self Silversky, I don't like him." her sister mewed.

"You're not a kit any more Stormfeather, there is nothing wrong with falling for a tom." Silversky shot back.

"I know, he's my friend not my love, grow up." Stormfeather said quickly.

"Be quite, you have never felt love so don't say what you do and don't know." Silversky spat. She got up and walked away.

"What's wrong with her?" Stormfeather asked her brother.

"She got rejected." he said.

"That make sense but it looks like Rainstar is calling me over, I better go."

"Bye." he mewed as she walked away.

Stormfeather padded over to Rainstar. "What did you need?" she asked the leader.

"Ivytail received an omen and we need your help."
