A/N: Hey guys! I know I said that the next chapter would be up soon but schoolwork was really hard because I broke my finger. I know, lame reason but I didn't feel like writing in pain. I'm on holidays now so updates should be more frequent. Thanks to people that will still read my story even though updates aren't very frequent. But enough of rambling on, I present chapter 11.
"No, I wanted to say… I love you Stormfeather." he blurted out.

Stormfeather stood there confused, frozen by shock. A breeze ruffled their pelts and the leaves; another storm was setting in.
"I-I…" Stormfeather squeaked.
Oakfur couldn't help but look at his paws.
"You probably don't know where this came from." he murmured.
"No, I just don't understand, I thought we were friends, nothing more." she said gazing at the undergrowth.
His eyes filled with disappointment.
She quickly corrected herself, "I mean, I thought you didn't think of me that way."
"But all that time I wished it was more than just a friendship."
"We should get back to camp." she mumbled.
"I guess so."

The two cats headed back to camp silently, pushing through the shrubs and brambles. The storm had gotten closer, the sky once a pink colour, was now a dark gray with almost black patches.
Rainstar had sent a small patrol to check any trees near the camp for loose branches or loose ground. They had come back with good news the trees were safe. Rainstar had announced that the clan was to stay inside the dens.
By the time Stormfeather and Oakfur got back it was already raining lightly. Stormfeather went right to her nest and tried to forget Oakfur slept in the nest next to her.
"I didn't mean to creep you out, we could still be friends." Oakfur chocked out.
But Stormfeather just shut her eyes tighter and pretended she didn't hear him.

Early morning sunlight pierced the roof of the medicine cat den. Inside Ivytail laid in her nest, a yawn spreading on her muzzle, but yowling ruined that.
"Ivytail!"
She got up and padded over to the entrance, pushing away the vines.
"You really like waking early don't you?" she laughed. "What is it?"
Stormfeather opened her mouth to speak but no words came out.
"Stormfeather? Are you ok?" the medicine cat asked.
She shook her head but she heard a voice.
'Don't tell her, you'll be in danger.' whispered the voice.
She didn't recognize the voice or trust it, so she tried to speak again. All she managed was a squeak and then the voice spoke again.
'Fine have it your way.' called the voice.
Thunder cracked in the distance and then again but closer. The thunder keep getting closer, before it struck outside camp. The cats the where outside ran into their den.
Time started to slow down for Stormfeather before it just stopped. She could move but everyone else was frozen. A white cat with green eyes appeared in front of her.
"I am Frostleaf, you have seemed to gotten your-self into trouble but it is not safe here. You must run I can't keep time still for much longer. Go!" she yelled.
Stormfeather pelted away just as her clan started moving again.

Stormfeather laid under a bush, panting from her dash. Frostleaf calmly padded up to her and sat down.
"After you uncovered Perchpelt's little secret, StarClan decided it was not safe for you any more so they appointed me to be your guardian. When you tried to tell Ivytail, somehow the Place of No Stars took control and sent lightning towards you camp, they tried to kill you." explained Frostleaf.
"So you were the one who warned me." Stormfeather dipped her head.
"No, I was the first StarClan cat to talk to you. The Place of No Stars must have been trying to recruit you."
"So what now?" the tried she-cat asked.
"You go back to camp, then follow Perchpelt. Hopefully he will be going to a blood cat meeting. Don't tell Rainstar or Ivytail, it could put you in more danger." Frostleaf instructed.
"But I have to tell them!"
"No! Now go back to camp and remember I'll be watching."
Frostleaf disappeared.

Stormfeather charged back into the camp before anyone noticed, quickly running to the fresh kill pile.
"There you are." called a harsh voice.
"Thunderheart?"
"Yes, you are wanted on hunting patrol."
"But its still raining." Stormfeather protested.
"Orders from Perchpelt."
"Is he going?"
"No. Why?" asked Thunderheart.
"Just curious." she replied.
"The others are waiting for you."
Stormfeather turned around and padded over to the hunting patrol and saw Oakfur.
'Just great.' she thought.

The rain got worse and the ground was turning to mud. Miserable. Raindrops clung to brambles and dampness was in the air.
"Get into pairs." Thunderheart said.
A brilliant idea popped into Stormfeather's head.
"I'll go with Oakfur." she said.
"Ok." said Oakfur grinning.
The started walking away from the others and began hunting.
"Oakfur, I need you to do something for me."
"What is it." smiled Oakfur.
"I need you to cover for me."
"What are you going to do." his voice fading.
"I need to follow someone." she replied.
"I don't like the feeling of that."
"Just please do it for me, please." she begged.
"Fine." he replied, sounding defeated.
He briefly turned around and when he turned back she was gone.

Stormfeather ran through the forest, trying to follow Perchpelt's scent but the rain was making it hard. She had no idea where she was going, so unfortunately she got a bit lost when the rain got heavier.
Before long, Frostleaf appeared and helped her regain the scent and location. It turned out that Perchpelt's scent lead to an abandoned twoleg place. Stormfeather arrived near the twoleg place and got in a good position before the meeting started.
The shear number of cats made her nervous. She started scanning the crowd of cats and found something shocking. Her sister, Silversky was there! Stormfeather was so shocked that she almost gave herself away but then Frostleaf appeared.
"Cats are noticing your scent, get out of here!" she yelled.
Stormfeather fled just as Perchpelt saw her silhouette. In her moment of terror Stormfeather slipped and fell down a steep slope and into a ditch. StarClan would have to be on her side now.
