A/N: Ok so I know I have been gone for over three months and I just want to say that I'm sorry. I have been really busy and my family kind of fell apart near Christmas but I'm back and I swear to you all there will be a chapter of Stormfeather's Destiny each week. So Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and thank you all for reading and reviewing. I almost canned this story but I am determined to keep writing. Now on to the story!

Disclaimer: I do not own Warrior Cats

"You feel strongly about this and you sound sure, that means we must do one thing, we must eliminate her."

Whispers came across the 'clan', most were in agreement but some were in dismay, maybe they didn't know what this clan was really about. The sun was already starting to go down and that meant one thing, the gathering.

Sparrowheart from ForestClan spoke up, "The prophecy also says a storm could wipe out the clans, what if that her…" his meow was shaky and unsure but who could blame him.

There was more whispering then Birchstar raised his tail to signal silence.

"We can't be sure about her, so I guess we will hold off our plans but if you thought I didn't hear those worried murmurs, think again. For anyone who thinks they will leave, think twice. If you leave, you and you're clan mates will suffer. What do you think Perchpelt?"

Perchpelt shot him a 'why me' look but shrugged it off and calmly added, "We only tolerate loyalty because once the forest is ours, only the loyal will survive. Now Birchstar it is almost time for the gathering, should we leave?"

"Who is the leader here?" No one answered, "Although you are right, blood cats disband! Oh and Perchpelt, I would like to have a word with you." a sly smile spread across his face.

Perchpelt's P.O.V

'Great, I already was going to be late to the gathering but now the 'leader' wants to talk to me,"

I turned around and padded reluctantly to Birchstar, lets just say he wasn't my favourite cat in the forest.

"Yes almighty Birchstar, what do you want?"

Birchstar flicked his gaze on me, it was... unsettling.

"Was that sarcasm? Never mind, we have more important things to discuss. So this Stormfeather cat, I want you to personally watch her."

'Really! If I didn't have enough trouble and I was already causing some suspicion,' though I kept that thought to myself.

"Fine but I think she may have a StarClan cat that guides her."

Birchstar starred at the sky and muttered a curse, "Don't worry about that, I think its time for the gathering."

I turned and ran towards LakeClan as fast as my paws could carry me.

No-ones' P.O.V

Darkness was almost upon LakeClan when Perchpelt hurried through the reed-covered entrance, luckily for him there were no guards.

Rainstar was standing with Hareleap muttering about which cats would go to the gathering. Perchpelt slipped next to Rainstar, "Sorry I wasn't here, I thought I heard a cat yowling for help out by the lake."

Rainstar's annoyance seemed to fad a little, "That's ok," although the words seemed forced, "So far we have Foxtail, Hareleap, Lilyblossom, Icepelt, Snowheart, the apprentices: Rosepaw, Windpaw, Blackpaw and Minnowpaw and Nightfrost. Who else do you think?" she asked.

Perchpelt stood thinking, "I'm sure Riversong would be grateful to be out of the nursery for a while and what about Stoneheart? I don't think he has many gatherings left, he's almost ready for the elder's den."

Hareleap and Rainstar considered their options before agreeing that it sounded good and they were ready to go.

As the sun set, cats from all four clans poured into the clearing. The moonlight illuminated the tall pine trees that form a 'u' shape around the open area. Even the dead tree in the front gave off an eerie glow. Although something felt wrong and many cats could sense it, maybe it was the way the wing howled or how there were still storm clouds in the sky.

Rosepaw's ears swivelled around and her senses were tingling. She turned towards Oakfur, although he was not her mentor, Rosepaw was like a little sister to him and they were quite close.

"Something's not right." she said nervously.

Oakfur looked over, "I'm sure its nothing."

Each clan was pressed together to keep warm as a bone chilling wind swept through, causing each cat to get a shiver up his or her spine.

Lilystar was the first to step up, quickly checking that the other leaders were ok with it. Receiving a nod from each one, she began. "There are plenty of rabbits for hunting although they have retreated underground in this weather. We are also expecting new kits."

Blizzardheart and Tigerfoot were looking very proud and slightly embarrass they must be the parents.

Lilystar stepped back and Birchstar rose and stepped forward.

"ForestClan is as strong as ever, there are endless amounts of prey and we also have a new apprentice. Leafpaw is a fine apprentice and others are close." the leader then sat back down on his branch.

Rainstar was the next to speak. "A lost cat appeared in our territory and we have sheltered her, she had three kits: two toms and a she-cat, we think she may stay with the clan."

The other clans had mixed reactions, some were shocked and other plain outraged. With the threat of clouds covering the moon, the grumbles were silenced.

Eaglestar was the last to speak, "A rock slide took out part of our camp and we had to rebuild and our clan shows no sign of weakness."

With the reporting over Lilystar disbanded the gathering and the clans started to leave. LakeClan was walking over the thin wood bridge, which was slippery from the rain, when everything started to go wrong.

There was a loud cracking noise and MountainClan, who had been in front of LakeClan, fell into the surging, black water, yowls filled the air as they struggled to swim.

"LakeClan help them!" yowled Rainstar, before jumping in.

Cats of all shapes and sizes from LakeClan plunged into the churning water, which threatened to sweep them all away. Rainstar churned her paws through the water, somewhat struggling to keep her head above water as she swam too the MountainClan leader: Eaglestar. He was sinking as she grabbed his scruff and pulled him to the surface.

All around them, splashing and spluttering was all that was herd but before long MountainClan was on the sandy shore, their fur clinging to them.

Eaglestar dipped his head and muttered, "Thank you Rainstar, we are in your dept."

A/N: So how was it? So I recently read Bramblestar's Storm and I noticed it was similar to may story in some ways and I am going to say now I have no intension of copying it, so if there are any thing that are the same I did not try to steal it. Also next chapter I will be trying a style of writing similar the books, with following Rainstar around.

Question of the chapter:

How was your Christmas/New Years? (If you don't celebrate it, How is your life right now?)

So see you next week :D
