MOTHERFREAKER THIS IS THE LONGEST THING I'VE EVER WRITTEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE
LIKE SERIOUSLY, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. I JUST KEPT GOING AND GOING AND GOING AND I COULD. NOT. STOP.
ASDFGHJKL
Anyways, this is officialy 5,672 words and longer than anything I've written by over 3,000 words. Yup. I blame Rachel. YOU BETTER BE HAPPY WITH THIS CHAPTER OR I'M GOING TO BURN SOMETHING. For those still waiting for an Overprotective Dragons, I'm sorry, it'll have to wait just a bit longer. I couldn't t wohink of anything but this for a whole crapload of time, even when I wasn't typing it and while I did escape it for a bit because it was Valentine's Day after I finished the one-shot I almost immediately focused on this again. I'm getting it done, I promise.
So, enjoy the chapter and I will gleefully await the shock and surprise when you all read this. *Laughs evilly*
Hana Kurokawa wasn't stupid, but she wasn't exactly a prodigy either. She was smart enough to know that people made choices in life and you had to be wise with them, and that if you wanted something you'd have to earn it. She hated boys and children and disliked most of them even as grown-ups, disgusted by the thought of these people who didn't seem to understand how life worked. Kyoko was a completely different matter.
She was small and cute and she always tried her best in everything she did, making her an exception, even with that idiotic brother of hers. Until she learned that the world wasn't as wonderful and innocent as she thought it was, she'd take the girl under her wing. After all, she was one of the only people who could understand Hana, and when she didn't she tried very hard to do exactly that. The two needed only each other (and that stupid brother of hers, no matter how much of an idiot he was for making her best friend worry so much and doing ridiculous things that made her want to beat him with a stick) and while Kyoko was popular and adored by much of the class, they generally kept to themselves.
So when they began to take notice of the small fluffy haired boy who sat near the window in their class and was picked on by the majority of their class, it took them both by surprise.
Tsunayoshi Sawada was a small, quiet thing; he didn't talk much and he didn't have any friends amongst the children in their class, or in their entire school for that matter. He was clumsy and made lots of mistakes often, showing up with more and more bruises every day he walked through the wooden classroom door covered in bandages and smiling like nothing had happened. (Fake, fake, they were all fake.) He never had any lunch and though it was probably the fault of those boys who always snickered and made dramatic noises when eating the suspicious orange colored bento she could never help herself from getting mad, wanting him to fight back instead of sitting there and smiling dreamily at the sky.
Kyoko often fretted over his health, worrying about the bags under his eyes and the fact that he was so skinny and small, sometimes going up to him and asking if he would like some of her lunch. He always declined politely, thanking her for her offer before wincing when one of the boys yelled at him for declining their precious Kyoko-chan as her face fell. She always chided them for picking on him, and for the most part, it seemed to do the trick. Somewhere along the way though, something had changed.
At the beginning, his brother had been closer to him. He walked with him to school and talked to him occasionally, the girls sometimes finding the two laughing together at something with their boyish faces full of delight. He sighed whenever he tripped but smiled indulgently before lifting him up and would always make sure to talk to him at some point during the school day. No matter how many times his so-called friends told him to leave his pathetic and clumsy brother alone he'd shake his head and defend him stoutly, causing them to huff and walk away.
He'd become popular within his first year, already on the basketball team they had at the school and doing well in every sport they'd introduced to their grade, his looks giving him points with the girls. He had lighter hair than his brother that fell over his golden-brown eyes and a charming, boyish grin that spread over his face whenever he was happy. The teachers adored him, Dame-Tsuna (he wasn't really no-good, she'd seen the way he did his work; the kid was probably as smart as her if not smarter and didn't know it, unable to understand things as fast as everybody did, always having questions) hidden in the background as they fawned over Ienari even with his barely passing grades. He was charming, she supposed, but as summer rolled around her opinion of him cemented when they walked in the next year and his previous kindness towards his brother disappeared. He ignored him completely and as a month passed by, the kids seem to take this as his permission for picking on the brunet, jeering at him in class and stealing his lunch again, throwing him around like a doll as Ienari simply stood in the corner as if none of this was happening.
Hana witnessed this with two thoughts in mind, both involving her stomping over and beating the crap out of someone, the first one being his brother and the second the group of kids picking on him. Kyoko had immediately freaked out, asking if she should mention this to a teacher or call her brother or maybe they would listen to them if they convinced the rest of the kids in the class? but her efforts were shot down by her best friend as Hana shook her head at her friend and her dark hair swished around her face. It wouldn't have done any actual good if they did, only making the situation worse.
Sighing and scowling just the slightest bit (because even she didn't know why she cared so much for some weak fluffy haired boy who'd done nothing for her but she did) she resigned herself to leaving him two riceballs on his desk at lunchtime, surprised when he looked up and grinned at them, bowing slightly in thanks for the food. She half expected him to carry them to where the two sat and politely decline the food before walking off, but contrary to her thoughts he sat down and ate them quietly, a wide grin on his face. Later on that day they found two tiny little chocolates on their desks and from then on this continuous cycle repeated, Kyoko even making him an entire bento most of the time and leaving it on his desk while he always managed to sneak those little chocolates when they weren't looking.
Sometimes she would catch herself smiling a little when she saw the little wrapped chocolates on their desks before catching herself and shaking her head quickly, Kyoko openly smiling widely at the miniscule sweets that brought them such large amounts of happiness. (Of all things to make her feel like she was full of butterflies, it had to be the those small chocolates he always gave them wrapped in cute shiny paper and the look on his face when they brought him lunch.) While his bullies still picked on him, their influence had stopped all the girls and left only a handful of his previous tormentors to do what they wished and while it was nowhere near good enough for either Kyoko or Hana, they agreed that it would do for now. (It might have had something to do with the fact that they didn't know what truly happened once they were out of sight but if they had they would have flipped out, so he kept it a secret from the kind hearted girls who made his days a little brighter.)
One of the strangest things was how every Thursday, after the daily exchange of lunches and sweets, he disappeared from the class, slipping out the door when no one was noticing and showing up before lunch ended with huge grins on his face that neither of them could understand. She'd have asked but the look on his face those days (happier, more real, full of life) that held her back, simply acknowledging that wherever it was he went made him happy.
To Hana's utmost surprise (really, she'd been more surprised in this last year than she had in her six years of life) the star of their class and budding baseball player Yamamoto Takeshi had started to notice their little friend more, often saying good morning to him and looking at him during class sometimes. Hibari Kyouya himself was soft on the kid, his punishments much less harsher than they could have been if existent at all, proving his generosity by actually letting him go the infirmary (because he made all the others go straight to class before a teacher sent them to the infirmary) and telling the teachers he'd been given a free pass when he couldn't make it to class on time because of his injuries. On the way to school she'd meet his cool grey eyes and a sort of agreement passed through the both of them before they continued with their normal life. (His stupid monkey brother still ignored him but she supposed it was better than him becoming violent and unruly like the rest even if she still wanted to slap him.)
A soft call drew her out of her thoughts and Hana shook her head as she heard the loud shouts of Kyoko's older brother and the sound of her best friend giggling quietly, sighing and standing up from her chair before taking one last look at the small chocolate on the table and running outside.
Tsuyoshi carefully placed the small boy on the bed in their spare room, making sure not to wake him up as Takeshi appeared in the doorway with the basin of water and towel in one hand and a cooling cloth in the other. He tip-toed into the room and placed the basin on the desk next to the bed, whispering to his father quietly.
"Is he going to be okay?" he asked, eyes on the panting and flushed boy on the bed. His father grinned and nodded, wetting the cloth and wiping the sweat away from the feverish Tsuna gently and placing the cooling cloth on his forehead. The child's red cheeks lost some of their color after he finished the process and he turned to his son.
"See? He's getting better already," he exclaimed softly, trying not to wake the boy as Takeshi grinned back at his father.
Trying to distract his son, he asked him to go grab some ice to cool the water in the basin cool and his son saluted before running out of the room and quietly as he could. Once he was sure Takeshi was out of sight and wouldn't be back for another minute, he narrowed his eyes and raised his hand. Almost immediately, it burst into a blue flame, the flame seemingly harmless as it continued to burn around his hands without causing him any injuries. He placed the flame-covered hand over the feverish child, the flames seeping into the boy's soft skin as his labored breathing eased and his squirming ceased, almost leaning into the touch.
He wasn't a healer and he didn't have sun flames, but the rain soothed all pains and worries and his flames came in handy during situations like these. He would have done it earlier but Takeshi had been around and he wasn't quite old enough for this yet. When he was older and more determined, he would tell him about this, including his heritage and family history. He was distracted from his thoughts as said boy came into the room carrying a bag of ice and dumped it into the basin quickly, wincing as some of the ice hit the bottom of the dish loudly.
Tsuyoshi shook his head and patted his son's shoulder gently, gesturing to the door. He got the hint and nodded, the two leaving the room and closing the door behind them quietly, both of them shooting one last look at Tsuna as the wooden door clicked quietly and their faces disappeared.
He was running, searching for something he didn't know, blackness surrounding him from every side. He was panting and he could feel his heartbeat thumping loudly in his ears, eyes frantically searching for something he needed so desperately without knowing what exactly it was. Suddenly there was an orange flame floating in front of him and his eyes lit up as he chased it, the flame floating farther and farther away. He reached for it with his hand, trying to call out to it.
"Don't leave! Stay, please! I need you!"
The flame flickered as if to say no and tears burned in his eyes as he sped up in an attempt to reach it. Instead, the flame flickered once again and a voice called out to him gently.
Everything will be fine.
He shook his head and the tears he was trying to hold back fell, pouring down his face as he yelled.
"No! Don't leave me all alone! You need to stay with me, you promised!"
The flame brightened and his eyes were blinded as he covered his face with his arms and the voice spoke again, cocooning him in its warmth and strength.
I will never leave you.
And with a flash of bright orange, the darkness all around him was gone and he was standing in a meadow, green grass under his feet and a blue sky overhead. Looking around, he saw a lake, and standing right next to it was a figure that he couldn't see clearly, his heart telling him this was what he'd been looking for all this time. He started to walk towards it slowly, heartbeat increasing as he started to sprint and then full out run, feeling this rightness fill his body as a smile came to his face.
He made it to the edge of the lake and could now make out the kind smile and open arms as the figure waited for him patiently. His heart soared and he ran as fast as he could, jumping into the waiting arms as they wrapped around him and he laughed. He had no idea what was going on or who this person was, but he knew everything was going to be fine as long as he stayed by his side. Panting and grinning, he looked up and finally, finally, saw the face of the person he'd been looking for all this time, a small bird chirping above their heads.
Sienna hair defying gravity stuck up everywhere as glowing orange eyes appraised him, a heartwarming smile on his face as the breeze spun around them. He wore a black pin-striped suit and cape, his strong arms holding him as his breath caught and he stared at the man, his very being glowing as he stood there with Tsuna.
He was beautiful.
Suddenly he felt very shy in the presence of such an amazing man, ducking his head and peering up at this beautiful person from behind his bangs as his smile lingered on his cherubic face. The man chuckled softly and a warm hand ruffled his hair gently before he smiled at Tsuna.
"See," he spoke kindly, "I told you I'd never leave you."
Tsuna's eyes widened for a second before he nodded and small hands wrapped themselves as far as they could around the man's body, snuggling his face into his chest.
"I know. Thank you."
He looked up at him and grinned, so pure and innocent that the man could feel his heart tighten at the sight of it and he pulled Tsuna closer, letting out a shuddering breath as he looked Tsuna in the eye. He would protect him, make sure he was loved and guarded like a precious jewel in a world full of rubble and stone. He wished he could have been here for him earlier, but now that he was, nothing could stop him from doing so, come hell or high water. His grip momentarily strengthened and Tsuna looked up at him in confusion.
"What is it?" he asked him, little fingers reaching up to his cheek.
He shook his head and held the hand there, the two of them basking in the warmth of the other for a moment before the man spoke.
"Tsuna."
He instantly looked the man in the eye, worried. "Yes?"
"I'm going to need you to do something for me, okay?"
Tsuna immediately nodded, ready to do anything for this man who was so beautiful, so amazing, this person who made him feel safer and happier than he ever had before.
"I need you to find your rainbow."
His rainbow? He tilted his head at the man, confused as to what he meant. The man smiled at the adorable confusion on his face before he repeated the sentence.
"I need you to find your rainbow, okay? It's right there, right in front of you. You just need to look for it. Find its colors and find their shine, make them the brightest they can be, and become the sky who holds it together. You've already started, you just don't know it. Your purple and blue have already found you, you just need to find them. And remember the others too. You'll never have to be alone again after that."
Tsuna brightened and his grin grew wider. "R-Really?"
The man nodded and pecked his forehead gently before smiling at him. "Really. And after that, you won't need me anymore."
His grin vanished suddenly and worry came over his face.
"A-Are you l-leaving?"
"Just for a bit," he said, squeezing Tsuna's hands tightly. "I'll be back soon, I just have things to take care of. But once you make your rainbow spread all over, I'll have to leave. You'll be happy, and you won't need me."
Tsuna panicked, desperation seeping into his voice. "But I am happy! I'm happy with you right now! Happier than I've ever been with Mama or Papa or Nari! If you have to leave," he said stoutly, "I won't find my rainbow!"
He chuckled and shook his head at Tsuna. "It's okay. I told you I'd ever really leave you, remember? I'm just going to finish up a few things for a little bit so you can find the pieces to make you whole. I might make you happy, but you still need to find your rainbow to make you feel truly complete and happy. Besides, your blue is waiting for you," he said, eyes leaving his face and turning towards the lake. Tsuna followed his gaze and gasped quietly as he saw a little blue flame floating above the water calmly as rain started to fall and drench the two.
He felt the sudden urge to run towards it, to embrace it and pour love into it, an orange flame appearing where his heart was. Looking down, he felt it pulse and urge him to the blue counterpart across the water, the flames still going strong even with the rain pouring down on them. He looked to the man desperately, silently asking him what he should do. He set Tsuna down to the floor and gently pushed him towards the lake, urging him to the blue flame as it waited for him.
He looked at him unsurely before he took a small step and then another, slowly gaining speed as he felt the orange flame on him grow stronger and brighter, his small legs pumping as fast as he could make them. Before he could make it to the blue flame he stopped and looked back at the man and asked him a question he'd just thought of hesitantly.
"W-Who are you?"
The man chuckled and his orange eyes seemed to glow as the wind blew and the rain droplets flew around.
"I'm you."
And he was gone as suddenly as he had appeared, his words echoing in Tsuna's mind while he mouthed it to himself. Suddenly, without it really even making it sense to him, he laughed and grinned at the sky before running straight at the blue flame as a flash of white light burst all around.
Tsuyoshi finished setting the plates on the table and stood back, nodding in approval before he called out his son's name.
"Takeshi, dinner's ready!"
He waited patiently for the usual hurried thudding sounds as his son ran down the stairs in a fit of energy, the smile on his face fading as nothing happened. Maybe he didn't hear him? He called out to him again at the foot of the stairs, frowning when there was still nothing. He unwrapped the apron from around his waist and left it on the counter before he climbed the stairs, opening the door to Takeshi's room.
"Takeshi?"
The room was empty, and his frown deepened when he heard a quiet "I'm here, oyaji" come from the spare room he'd placed the sick child in earlier. He walked into the room, confusion covering his face as he took in the sight of his easy going son sitting on the wooden chair next to the desk with his knees pulled to his chest and chin resting on them, staring at the bed strangely. Suddenly he spoke, up, amber eyes never once leaving Tsuna's frail body.
"I know him. He's from my class and his brother is one of the kids on my baseball team. His name is Tsuna."
Tsuyoshi looked at his son carefully, analyzing his expression as he approached his son and crouched down next to him. "What?"
"I know him, oyaji. He's always smiling no matter what happens. He's really clumsy and he gets bad grades, and even though people make fun of him sometimes, he doesn't stop smiling. I never really payed attention to him before, just said good morning a few times and watched him in class a bit, but he's really small, isn't he?"
Tsuyoshi nodded, trying to figure out what was going through his son's head right now. "Yeah."
"And he looks really weak. Like he'd fall over if he was awake."
He nodded again, aware that this was due to malnutrition and weak muscles, confused as to where this was going as he continued.
"You know, the other day I was walking home from school and I saw some kids all around him in this small circle with these weird smiles on their faces. I figured they were just teasing him about the bad grade he got on the math test like they did to me, so I left it alone. But oyaji, when he came the next day, he had more bandages than usual on him. He greets me every morning, but I never really tried to be friends with him, just saying hi or good morning back to him before sitting down and thinking about the next baseball game or what kind of sushi I'd make when I get home."
Takeshi looked at him and he couldn't decipher the expression on his son's face, only knowing that he hadn't looked like that since last year when his wife had died, his heart panging a little.
"He has a brother in the exact same class, you know. His name's Ienari, and he plays lots of sports, especially basketball. They're twins, and everybody loves Nari. He's really popular because he's good at sports, but nobody likes Tsuna. The only person who really tries to be nice to him and talk to him is Kyoko-chan, and she's just naturally like that. Her friend Hana really hates boys and calls us all monkeys, but she doesn't call him one for some reason and even though they think no one notices they leave him food on his desk at lunch a lot of times. And he never looks forward to going home like the rest of us, trying to stay around the classroom as long as he can."
Tsuyoshi looked at his son sharply. "What are you trying to say, Takeshi?"
He buried his face into his arms and exhaled softly, shoulders shaking a bit. "I'm saying I've been really stupid, Pops. After mom died, I kind of just floated around for a bit, not used to her not walking around the house and singing or laughing like she always did. I didn't talk to my friends much and even you weren't able to get me to laugh like I used to but he did. He was the one person I had never payed attention to and he was smart enough to figure that I wasn't actually sick like the others thought and he told me something.
"We were raking leaves in the playground because it was our turn and he looked at me, and I swear oyaji, I'd never heard him speak before that and his voice was absolutely beautiful, and he told me that he was sorry for my loss and that mom would have liked her death to make me stronger instead of weaker. He said she'd like it best if I made her proud and did my best in everything and I couldn't even believe what he was saying for a second and then the bell rang and he went away before I could say anything."
He looked up at his father and smiled a little at him, a small twinkle in his eye as Tsuyoshi took this in, amber eyes wide as he listened to his happy son tell him the story.
"In a way, he's the reason I started to play baseball. I remembered how mom used to watch the matches and she would always get so excited over them, jumping up and down when they got a home run and I decided I'd play baseball because she loved it so much for her so she'd be happy. It reminds me of her every time I pitch a ball or get a slid to home because it's like I can hear her yelling in my ears that I was doing great and I had to keep going because things were only going to get better. And even though he's the reason I can be happier now, I never thanked him for it. Oyaji," he said, a large grin on his face, "I want to be best friends with him."
Tsuyoshi gave a surprised laugh before they both burst into laughter and he ruffled his son's hair gently. "I'm sure you will," he said softly, looking over to the boy who gave his son happiness again, "I'm sure you will."
Hibari Kyouya was simple and to the point: he rarely liked people or anything for that matter, and gave his respect to an even smaller number of people. If you were anything less than extremely smart, extremely smart, and extremely interesting, you were below his interest. So imagine his immaculate surprise when his attention was captured by the small fluffy haired herbivore labeled Dame-Tsuna by the whole of Namimori. (Not only his attention, his interest and while he'd never say it out loud he needed more, had to know more about this strange boy in a world of carnivores and herbivores.) The boy failed to meet any of the three, but for some reason he could never take his eyes off of him whenever he entered his sight.
Almost unconsciously, he found himself going easy on this herbivorous boy, not punishing as much as he would have were he someone else and even going so far as to not punish him at all sometimes. At this realization, he'd scowled and forced himself to make up for his kindness (he was not going soft, not at all, and certainly not for some low grade herbivore) the very next day only to stop at the sight of him walking to school on time with absolutely no flaws in his character as he walked to school. Growling, he'd turned and attacked the stragglers and stupid herbivores who didn't listen viciously, bringing out all his anger on them. One night, though, everything changed and he found himself closer to someone than he had ever thought possible.
His father had apparently seen an old business associate and friend (since when that had happened he had no idea but he couldn't quite bring himself to hate his father for it because it changed everything and life was suddenly more interesting) in town the other day and had invited him and his family for dinner at their main house, only mentioning the morning before. His mother had raised an eyebrow before preparing for their guests (who had obviously been someone extremely close or important for her to simply agree and get ready for their arrival) and ordering him to not bite any of them. He later learned that she had meant the two sons and not the adults when they appeared at his door.
He immediately scowled at the sight of the imbecilic herbivore that was Sawada Ienari before remembering that of he was here, so would his brother. Grey eyes sought him out and he found him on the shoulders of a broad-shouldered and tan skinned man, his normal fake smile and façade gone as he laughed and messed with coarse blond hair. (And God if that hadn't made him want to double-take because he didn't think he'd ever seen the strange herbivore with anything but those two on his face and the unadultered joy made him so much different than usual.)
He'd coldly welcome them, inclining his head slightly to the parents (the herbivore looked like his mother and his father seemed like he had practiced the art of deceiving much longer than his son) and ignoring the boys before escaping to the garden and seating himself comfortably into a nook of his favorite tree there. He'd just started to doze off when he heard a small and tentative voice call out to him and he almost felt like sighing, instead looking down to see the herbivore who'd haunted his thoughts recently and asking what he wanted.
To his astonishment, the boy's face brightened and he started to climb the tree, nearly giving him a heart attack when he almost fell off the tree in the process and was already 10 feet above the ground. His heart calmed and he glared fiercely at the small thing for almost making him worry (because Hibari Kyouya worried about no one but himself and that was the simple truth) before sharply asking him once again what he wanted. The herbivore seemed to realize his position and retreated back to his shell, stuttering unsurely about how he'd wanted to thank him for going easy on him even though he didn't have to and how he was really surprised that their fathers knew each other and he knew Hibari-san didn't really like people very much so he was going to leave right now when Kyouya did something he didn't believe possible: he told the herbivore to stay. For a moment, he seemed as surprised as Kyouya did before he grinned widely and nodded his head.
(It was probably that moment the entire world fell into balance and the gears of fate clicked into place but neither of them knew it.)
He asked him what he meant by going easy on him before gaining a glint in his eyes and asking if he wanted harsher punishments, hands already inching towards his tonfas as the herbivore "Hie-ed" and denied it frantically, waving his arms in the air wildly and spluttering as he tried to answer him. (Had he really been so obvious or was it simply that easy for this herbivore to understand things?) He explained, still stuttering and fidgeting with a blush staining his face, that Hibari-san (he clamped down the irritating urge to say "Call me Kyouya" and mentally kicked himself) had been going easier on him than he had the others and that he knew that because he didn't have to go to the infirmary half as much as they did even though he was worse than a lot of them.
He'd scowled and turned at this, not wanting the herbivore to look at this face before he felt something soft brush across his cheeks hesitantly and his head turned so quickly he thought it would fall off, silently touching the place the herbivore had kissed as he stared at him, shocked, a faint pink spreading across his pale cheeks. The herbivore blushed furiously before climbing down the tree hurriedly and leaving him there with his hands against his cheek, eyes wide and cheeks just the slightest bit flushed.
After that night, he'd though about the herbivore constantly, forgetting to bite him to death in the morning for being late because of the memory of the soft kiss, freezing whenever he thought of it. And then, one day, he'd been found sleeping on the roof and woke up the second he heard the creak of the roof door, eyes alert and tonfas ready when sienna hair appeared into his sight. He put away his tonfas and pretended to go back to sleep, forcing himself to calm down as he came closer and closer. He peeked through his left eye at the herbivore and was surprised for what seemed the nth time when he sat down next to him with his lunch and hummed quietly while eating.
It became tradition from then on that every Thursday he would do the exact same thing until he grew tired (why wasn't he doing anything else, he wanted him to do something else for once) of it and plopped his head into a soft lap and resumed his nap. (He was thoroughly satisfied with the shock and surprise rolling off the boy and even more satisfied with what he did after that.) After that, the herbivore would stroke his hair and continue to hum and life went on and they found themselves content in each other's presence. (And if he silently thought more of the herbivore than he had anyone in his life he would never admit it.)
And so began the changes that would shake the very foundation of the world and others with it, all starting with the small fluffy haired boy named Sawada Tsunayoshi who awoke in a strange bedroom in a strange place feeling better than he had ever felt before.
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HOW WAS THAT, HMMMMM? *CACKLES*
So, read and review, leave questions or comments and please don't flame! Usually I don't say this, but recently it came to my attention I could actually be flamed for my writing though I haven't yet. Also, to the reviewer who asked for no yaoi, I am so absolutely sorry, I really am. If things were different, I would have immediately done exactly so, but they aren't and this was kind of planned.
See, this was a prompt fic, and in the prompt (er, discussion of prompt) both Sky-chan and I agreed on 1827 and such for this fic. I'm sorry about that, but if you'd like, you could maybe read my other fic, His Son? I know I asked whether or not people wanted yaoi in that and I decided that I would keep things the way they were there and make this my yaoi escape of sorts. That probably made no sense whatsoever, but basically I said one story=yaoi, other story=not yaoi. Unfortunately for you, this is the story=yaoi fic, and I do apologize. I hope I haven't disappointed you too greatly. *Bows*
I will also try to reply to reviews and favorites and follows and fast as I can with my schedule, but I'm straggling along right now, so please forgive me if I send you a PM quite a bit after you did so.
I hope you all had a lovely Valentine's!
