Sorry it's been a while. Anyways here a new chapter. Im sorry but you'll just have to wait till next Christmas for a Christmas special, but great things will be happening.

Chapter 11: Side Affect

Donald's P.O.V

So Christmas was a few days ago and now we're just sitting outside. It's not as cold as it's been lately so I figured it'd be a nice day to go to the park.

"Alright kids, don't go too far, Chase keep an eye on all of them" Tasha said. Adam looked a little hurt.

"Why does he always get to be incharge?" He asked. Tasha and I shared a look.

"Because...You work so hard during training that this is your break" I said. Adam looked pretty satisfied. They just ran off to do whatever.

Davis's P.O.V

"So what do you guys want to do?" Adam asked. I thought about it, and I came up with something.

"How about tag?" I asked. Everyone looked at me. "What? I mean sure it's a kid game, but it can still be fun" I said. They all nodded and we decided to split up.

"Who's it?" I asked. Everyone smiled and looked down at me.

"It's me isn't it?" They nodded.

"Sorry baby bro, you're the new guy so you go first" Leo said. I glared at him and they all sprinted off. I began chasing them all around the park. I turned around and noticed Bree trying to hide behind a bush, except she was still texting so not good...for her. I tapped her shoulders which made her jump up.

"Tag" I said simply. She laughed a little. "Look Im texting Owen, can we pretend that Im still being looked for?" She asked. I nodded. I began to run off and find Adam or Chase or Leo. Someone so I can win! I looked around and found Adam peeking out with a bunch of leaves and pinecones on his head.

"Adam what are you doing?" I asked. He stayed completely silent.

"Im not Adam, Im a bush...*.bush noise*" He said. I rolled my eyes.

"Well I found you so where's Chase or Leo?" I asked. He pointed towards the tall tree across the park.

"Leo decided to climb up that tree" He said.

"Thanks"

I ran off to the tree. The more I ran, the more I ran out of breath. Maybe I should calm it down, because last time I felt like this...nothing good happened. I jogged over to the tree and saw Leo's foot hanging down.

"You know, we're playing tag, not hide and seek" I yelled. Leo tried to look down but fell off.

"You okay?" I asked. He nodded and got up. "Guess you found me?" He asked. I nodded.

"Ok I saw Chase run over to the pile of rocks and stuff" He said. I nodded and took a deep breath. "You okay?" He asked I nodded. I began to run off to find but as I kept running I felt my heart race as if it was going to burst out of my chest. My vision began to get blury.

I felt something in my body completely stop. I started wheezing really bad. I felt a hand on my back but a bunch of black began to surround my eyes.

"Davis? DAVIS!" They said with worry in their tone. "Im getting Davenport!" They said. I noticed it was Leo when he ran off, and Chase came running back up to me with Bree. Everythign just faded to black...

Leo's P.O.V

"Davis? DAVIS!" I said. He started wheezing really bad. He was bent over a gasping for air.

"Im getting Davenport!" I said. Chase and Bree came running up to me. "Leo what's wrong?" They asked.

"It's Davis, he started gasping for air and I think he's about to pass out" I said. Bree immediately ran to Davis's side, which he was already. Chase stayed with them while I went to go get Davenport.

"Big D!" I yelled. Him and my Mom were just about to kiss...thank you Davis for almost dying!

"Leo what's wrong?!" Mom asked. "Davis stopped breathing or something!" I said. Big D's eyes went wide. "Ok Tasha call 911! Leo take me to him!" He said. I nodded and we both ran to where they were at.

Donald's P.O.V

I think I know what's wrong with Davis. I saw Davis, Adam, Bree, and Chase all together. Adam was cradeling Davis in his arms and Bree was on the verge of tears.

"Does he have a pulse?" I asked. Chase nodded. "Yeah but it's super weak" He said. Within minutes I heard sirens.

"Ok hand him to me" I said. Adam handed Davis to me. Memories flashed through my head. Everyone just looked at me concerned.

"I think he'll be fine..." I said not so sure of myself. "Think?!" Leo said. i rolled my eyes when a pair of paramedics came over.

"We'll take him to the E.R at North Mission Creek" One paramedic said. "Ok thank you" I said. I handed him off and we all ran back to my car.

"so where is he at?" Tasha asked. "North Mission Creek"

We all drove off following the ambulance. Everyone was extremely tense.

Once we got to the hospital, we all scrambled to the waiting room for then to find out more.

"So what's going on with him?" Adam asked.

"Ok guys, you know how he was a couple months early when he was born?" I said. They all nodded.

"Well his body wasn't fully developed and parts of his body would be behind normal development" I continued. They all nodded. I didn't know what was wrong with him as far as what wasn't developing. After an hour of waiting in pure agony, a nurse finally walked in.

"Im looking for the family of Davis Davenport" She said. I stood up. "Yes that's us" I said. She walked over in our direction.

"So how is he?" I asked. Her face said it all.

"Good news or bad news first?" She asked. I sighed.

"Bad news" Tasha said. I looked at her. She shrugged her shoulders.

"Bad news is, this may happen again, but not until he's in his 60's or something" She said. Wow, that wasn't really that bad.

"And good news is, he's fine. We were able to fix what was wrong. If you'd like you all can come. I'll explain what was wrong" She said. We all got up and followed her to Davis's room. Once we got in, I saw him laying on the bed. He had a bunch of wires on his chest for his heart monitor, an I.V in his arm. There was a little beathign treatment thing next to him.

"so we found out his lungs weren't completely developed. They couldn't handle much and they just wore out" She said.

"So are his lungs ok?" Tasha asked. The nurse nodded.

"We were able to add in nutrients that will help them develop. By next month they will be up to normal" The nurse said. That was good. I'd really hate for him to have to...well...die.

"I'll give you all some space, he should be waking around-" She was cut off by Davis murmuring awake. "Now"

"What happened?" He asked softly. I walked over to him.

"Your lungs quit on you and they had to do somethings to you" i said. He nodded and suddenly looked very uncomfortable. The nurse came back around.

"Excuse me we need to insert this cathader so he can stay here and recover for the day" She said. Davis looked at it.

"What's a cathedar?" He asked. Chase stood up and walked over to Davis. Please don't tell him.

"It's a needle thingy they put in your pee-pee" He said. Davis began to freak out.

"That thing is not going in my-" He got cut off by his own caughing fit. "Just let them put it in. It won't hurt" I said. He nodded. The lady went under the covers and inserted the cathader. Davis's face was filled with emotion...I just couldn't which one.

"Ok now whenever you need to pee, just go. Don't worry about going to the bathroom" She said. Davis looked at her weird.

"Ok so when can I go home?" He asked. "in a few hours. We just need to make sure your lungs won't shut off on you" The nurse said while checking his charts. Davis looked pretty scared. Yep this is going to be a long day...
