*Sabrina's POV*
"Puck! Puck! What the-"
And then he was unconscious.
I examined the lump on his forehead, which...glowed?! Shoot. Magic played a part in this.
What the hell is happening?! I thought as I panicked.
"Puck!" I poked him in the side of his face. Nothing. The only thing that moved was his chest, slightly rising up and down with every breath. Well, at least he's still breathing. That's definitely a good sign. Ok...ok... what do I do...call someone. Yes, that's what I do when someone is injured. But, who should I call? I can't call someone who will get us in trouble, like Granny or Mr. Canis. They'll be wondering why we're out here, and how Puck got hurt. Wait, how did Puck get hurt?! I have no clue... I guess I'll just have to find out when he wakes up.
Oh wait! I can call Ms. White! Snow won't get us in trouble... right? I mean, Granny and her are close friends, but I don't think she would rat us out. Damn... but her husband would. Dammit it, Billy! Ok, Sabrina... think. Get us out of this mess. "Puck!" I cried one last time, before giving up on trying to wake Puck up before I was forced to call someone.
Well, I guess before I call anyone, I have to get him out of this puddle. I tugged on his arm, which just caused him to slump over more.
"No no no no no-" I grunted as I caught his shoulder right before he slammed into the sidewalk, which would have worsened his head injury. Slowly, I put one of his limp arms over my shoulders, and heaved him up into a standing-but-slouched-over position. His weight was almost too much for me,as he's pretty muscular. To prevent myself from toppling over (and taking Puck down with me), I braced myself on the brick wall of the diner as I started walking down the sidewalk.
I don't really know where I'm going. I thought of who to go to as I walked...someone who A) won't tell Granny, and B) knows how to help Puck. The sad thing is, that anyone that is on good terms with me in this dumb town on even better terms with Granny, so they would definitely mention that two of her grandchildren cam to their doorstep, one injured and one frantic.
Think, Sabrina. Thiiiiiink. Uh-oh. I know someone who can help, and who won't tell Granny... but it's someone who I'm not exactly on the best of terms with. Well, that's sort of an understatement. The last time I saw her, she tried to eat me. Yep, that's right. I have to go to Baba Yaga's stupid chicken house. Making the trek across town and into the mountains isn't even the worst of my problems. It's finding something to trade to the old hag for her to fix Puck is what I'm really worried about.
I groaned as I trudged down the street, with the only light being the occasional streetlamp or a neon bar sign outside of small, homely pubs that talking animals and goblins go to. Puck's feet half-stumbled, and half-dragged on the ground, which certainly did not make matters any better. It was looking grim for us. Pun not intended.
This whole thing is so dumb. I should've stopped him from going to meet Captain Hook when I had the chance, back at home. I partially blame myself for this mess. It's always been me who's been the responsible one, doing my best to make sure people stay out of danger, even if that meaned putting myself into harm's way. But, here I am, in the middle of the night, pulling Puck down the street, worried about him, heading to Baba Yaga's house to sell her my soul or something so Puck will get better. Ugh.
A typical day in the life of a Grimm.
Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!
