Chapter 2- Supposed to be badass

Dick overheard the whole conversation and it just triggered an inner anger in him.

The dorm room door opens, and a not so please Wallace stands staring at Dick.

He didn't know that much about Wallace just three things really, one that he went to Neptune High, two good basketball player and most importantly three he was Ronnie's best friend.

"Hey Wally, is Piz here?" is what he says as he pushers his way into the room.

He sees Piz sat on his bed studying, he then grabs him by his top and slams him against the wall.

Wallace then says "Man, you better get off Piz and leave, hes been through enough."

The comment 'He's been through enough' made Dick laugh a little.

Wallace really has know idea what's going on because there is no way that he would stand up for him like that if he new that he just scared the crap out of his best friend.

"You haven't told him! have you?" Dick says to Piz "Well do you want to do the honers or should I?"

"I have know idea what your talking about" Piz responds

"Cut the crap Piz, Wally did Piz here tell you how he got that lovely new bruise on his face?" he says turning to Wallace to wait for an answer.

"Yeah, When I ask him at first he didn't answer but when I didn't stop mentioning it he told me it was Logan" Wallace says

"Course he did" Dick says sarcastically.

He turns back to Piz and gets a better look at the fresh bruise on Piz's face. He points to it and says "Dude she really got you good didn't she, Still its not as bad as hers is it?"

The words 'Hers' and 'she' confused Wallace. "Okay will someone tell me whats going on because I am clearly missing something" he says

"Piz here thought that it would be a good idea to take his angry out on Ronnie" Dick says

"You did what? after all shes been through" Wallace angrily shouts to Piz.

Piz says "Don't give me the Veronica been through so much and I don't know anything speech, I know that Lily died and people die all the time, Why is it such a big deal, its not my fault she doesn't tell me anything"

"Piz. You really have no idea so I would stop there!" Wallace warns him.

But Piz continues "Okay, she solved the Hearst rapist case and got hurt but that was her own fault"

Wallace moves fast and pushers Piz into the wall "The only fault Veronica has is putting other people's safety before her own, Veronica's been through hell and just because you don't know all the details doesn't mean it didn't happen. Do you want to know how many people know everything shes been through? Two, Me and Logan, Her dad doesn't even know everything and your complaining because she hasn't told you her deep dark secrets after less than a year of knowing you. Lily didn't just die she was murder and that's just how the hell started, all of her friend turned against her, they went out of there way to make the hell that she was living even worst and than there was that party which was cherry on the top and that's just what happened before I even knew her. Veronica is not just my best friend shes like a sister to me and if you even hurt her again it will be more then a punch in the face that you will get from me"

Piz is confessed because one Wallace was really angry he had never seen him like this and two he hadn't punched him in the face. Just as Piz was thinking that Wallace punch him in the face.

"Now Leave!" Wallace says and Piz went running out of the room.

Silence. That's what happened after Wallace stopped. Dick was taken back by all the new information he had heard about Veronica and he was trying to make sense of it all. He had never felt so bad in his whole life. After a minute or two.

Dick says "when you put it like that I really do sound like my namesake"

"Yeah, You are A dick" Wallace says in a dry tone.

"Wow what have I ever done to you... by the way what party are you on about when to said it was the cherry on the top?" He says

"You should know... One minute why do you even care, I could understand if Logan was here but you?"

Now annoyed Dick says "Why do people keep on asking why I care. Did you know that Veronica use to be my Best Friend first before you and before Lily? yes it was from the ages 6- 10 but still. If I didn't come here then Logan would have and I didn't want him getting in to more trouble and mainly never wanted her to get hurt"

"Have you heard yourself" At Dick confused look he continued "You have no idea how much you really have done to Veronica have you?" with that Wallace leaves a very confessed Dick. Wallace needed to see his best friend and he knew where she would be.

Back in the suite Veronica is in the bathroom washing her face. She still is really shaken up about Piz.

Come on Veronica, your supposed to be a Badass that's not scared of anything, all he did was punch you in the face you've had worst done to you.

She looks up at the mirror, looking at her face she at first frowns but then after a couple of minutes, she allowed a small face to form on her face because she knew exactly what she needed to do.

Veronica makes her way back into the other room to find Logan. Logan is sitting in one of the chairs running his hands through his hair clearly stressed. She sits next to him and moves his hands from his hair and takes them in her hands.

Veronica starts to speak "I'm so sorry Logan for everything."

"Hey it's okay, all that matters is that your safe and here." Logan responds

"No, it's not okay. I can be a really bitch sometimes I know and I have major trust issues but I'm trying to sort them out I just need you to have a bit of patience with me, I need you in my life Logan no matter what I said." She says

"I don't think you need me, not as much as I need you. Your the only thing I have, other than Dick your all the family I have too. I'm sure you would be fine eventually without me you have your Dad, Wallace, Mac and-"

Veronica stops him "Stop. I do need you, your the only person that understands me and what I've been through because you were there every step of the way and you have saved me so much I probably wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for you"

"Yeah well you've done you fair share of saving me too" he say with a smile.

There was a knock at the door that made them stop.

Logan opens the door to see Wallace standing there in the hallway look out of place.

"Is she here?"

Logan says "yeah, She's not let me leave her alone"

Wallace shakes his head "Thats not good, she usually likes being alone"

"I know, I love being with her so it's okay and to be honest I don't really want her to be alone or with anyone I don't trust for that matter. congratulations Fennel you made the cut, I need a shower"

Before he leaves, he walks over to Veronica and kisses her on her forehead, then Logan went off to his room.

Wallace made his way to wear Veronica is sitting on the couch.

"Hey superfly" he says

"Hey papa bear" she says with a smile.

"How are you feeling and don't give me that your fine crap, has your BFF I get the inside scope"

"Papa bear, other then my face kills like a bitch and the whole shock fact of it all. I think I'll be fine."

"Don't think I didn't notice you said 'fine'" he says

"I know but it's the truth, I've been through worst"

"and then some" Wallace adds

"so... how did you find out? did Piz tell you?"

"Nope it was Dick surprisingly, he wasn't looking happy"

"really?" Veronica says surprised

"which leads me to my next question, are you now best buds with Dick 'The Dick' Casablancas and I've been demoted because he real seem to care... it's weird"

"I know I can't get my head around it, maybe it's the new him or the younger him making an appearance, you know we use to be best friends a long time ago"
