For those who read this story in entirety you'll realize it was missing one thing all along...the author's note which is unusual for me. This was done with a purpose and for those who wanted explanation along the way about the "why" and the "how" you see now why I chose to not include it as each chapter was posted.

So, for the story, many have asked for an epilogue but I'm going to do that instead in the form of an author's note. So here it is...take it for what you will...

ooOOoo

This story, for all intents and purposes was fictional yes however what if I told you the whole premise was based on fact? What if Bo and Lauren were real people dealing with real issues that were embedded in the story masked by the fictional world that Lost Girl exists in?

Perhaps as an author it was a way for me to tell a real life story without judgement or criticism being placed prematurely. Perhaps it was an effort to try and process a little some of the things that are real life issues unbeknownst to the reader that the things that were said and done in this story were based on fact. So, knowing that, I wonder if any of you would change your perception of the story? Of the characters? Of what happened to them both in the "past" and in the "present"?

One comment that I have seen continuously on many stories is that's not how it would happen in "real life." So this story was an attempt to show how real life is just as fucked up as fiction.

So here's the truth: Bo and Lauren are based on two very real people and this was my attempt at telling their story. It's apparent that some readers do not agree and have their opinions and that's fine. But know that this story is very real and the ending, such as in real life, is what it is. There is no fairy tale happily ever after. There is no Hollywood magic ending. If you didn't enjoy the story that was told, mea culpa.

The end

P.S. Wtf is up with Lauren being preggers? When did I say that?
