Chapter 2: The End of the Battle

With the hostages saved and the thunder legion beaten, the only things that were left to do was destroy the thunder palace and stop Laxus. Warren, a master of Telepathy magic was back in town and was already in use, prepping the guild on his and Gray's plan to stop the city's impending doom.

"Hey Fairy Tailers, can you hear me? Things aren't looking so good for us. Check out whats floating in the sky! We're going to have to pull together, so get off your butts and give us a hand!"

The guild members begin looking up and noticing the Lightning Lacrima surrounding the town.

"If you're still fighting, give it a rest already!" Warren shouts

"Hold on, now I hear a mans voice inside my head!" Lucy says, now recovered from the fight with Bickslow

"Its most likely telepathy magic." Charon says returning to the roof where Lucy was. "However, I'm still a stranger, so I can't hear it."

"Hey Warren, add Charon to the line!" Lucy asks

"Who's that?!" Warren responds.

Erza's voice picks up through the telepathy "Don't worry about him, he's the one who turned us back from stone, we can trust him."

"Can you hear me now Charon?"

"Yeah, I can."

Warren goes on to explain what the Thunder Palace is, what it does, and how they'll stop it.

"Wait, how did you find out about the Thunder Palace Warren?" Erza questions

"I've never been happier to hear your voice." a man speaks up "I was worried about ya!"

"Gray..." Erza says, thankful that her friend is ok "I see, so you're the one who told him."

While they talked, Charon vanished and reappeared on the roof where Warren and Gray were settled.

Two other guys spoke up. "Wait, what happened to the girls?! How is Levy? Is she okay?!"

"No need to worry boys, we're all okay thanks to some guy." Cana said.

"I have a name ya know..." Charon says irately.

"Anyway, If we work together, we can do this!" Warren returns the conversation.

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE WARREN!" Max shouted. "WHY SHOULD I DO WHAT YOU SAY AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO ME?!"

"Oh, uhhh Max... I'm real sorry man, I swear it wasn't anything personal, I was just desperate to save the girls ya' know!"

The guild started to bicker and argue over their previous fights against one another. It was all interrupted by passionate speech however.

"SHUT UP!" the channel went silent upon Lucy's command. "We shouldn't be wasting our time arguing! The citizens of Magnolia are in danger and we're the only ones who can help them, so we're going to have to work together!" The guild was paying full attention and Lucy's words were inspiring everbody. "Look, I know all this fighting has torn us apart, but we can do anything if we pull together! I know I'm still new to Fairy Tail, but I promise you, I love being a part of this guild just as much as the rest of you. I always dreamed of joining Fairy Tail someday, Its what I wanted more than anything in this world. Now that I joined, It means everything to me... If you feel the same way, LET'S WORK TOGETHER AS A GUILD AND SAVE OUR TOWN!"

The others were appalled by the impact of Lucy's speech and it quickly got morale up to what it was before the battle.

"Lucy..." Erza was ecstatic.

"She's right, it's time to buck up or get out! Now let's save this town!" Charon says joining in on the optimism.

"RIGHT!" all the guild members say in unison.

"What about the body link magic?" Happy asks Lucy.

"We just have to deal. We have to be strong and save Magnolia!"

"Yeah! I'm with you!" Happy says putting a smile on her face.

"I'll take the 200 to the north!" Erza orders. "You all take the rest!"

'This guild is something else... I'm not even part of it and I feel like a member of a family. I have to do the Maximum Crucifixion!'

The attacks landed on the lacrimi and made each and everyone of them crumble or explode.

Charon claps his hands together and shouts, "SKY DEVIL'S SECRET ART: MAXIMUM CRUCIFIXION!" following those words was a huge magic circle above the town. A red sphere of air enveloped each member of the guild. When the body link magic started to appear on each member, it was quickly redirected to the tallest building, the building where Charon was. The guild members, all shocked at the lack of electrocution, only watched as he was hit by all of the lightning.

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Charon shouted in agony and fell of the tower, crashing into the ground, leaving a crater.

"Did he do what I think he did?!" Lucy shouted in shock.

"It looks like Charon redirected all the body link magic to himself..." Gray says dumbfounded.

Erza tries to find him, but quickly runs out of energy and collapses. "I can't believe you'd do something so reckless... and for strangers..."

Charon was hurt, but nowhere near dead, he was just laying in the crater he made, astonished with his actions. "You guys... care for each other like a family and you take care of your own... for a second there, I felt like I had a family again too." Tears started to form in Charon's eyes. "I don't even know most of your names hahaha, I don't understand why I did it, but I don't regret it." he forces himself to get up and opens his mouth widely and starts to devour the surrounding air. It didn't heal him, but it did give him what strength he lost. He still needed a breather, but he wasn't out of the fight just yet.

Natsu vs. Laxus Battle...

A huge surge of power had burst out of the chapel as one huge streak of lightning and one huge streak of fire, which were both clashing against one another in the sky. They both ended up on the roof after a lot of collateral damage the surrounding buildings.

"THAT WAS YOUR LAST MISTAKE KID! NOW I'M GONNA OBLITERATE YOU!" Laxus shouts with pulsating electricity surrounding him. "LIGHTNING DRAGON: HEAVENWARD HALBERD!" a enormous lightning bolt in the form of a halberd was heading to Natsu, who was already badly wounded.

The dust from the impact settled to reveal that Charon not only blocked the attack in time, but was surrounded by a red demonic aura. His eyes were black and red, his hair had spiked up, and his teeth resembled demonic fangs.

"What the Hell are you?!" Laxus said nervously.

(Insert battle music here)

Charon looks at Laxus. "I'm going to tear you to shreds!" he says, his voice demonic and powerful. Charon then, in the blink of an eye, lunges at Laxus and grabs his face and smashes it into the roof, still holding onto him. He winds up his right fist and forms a demons clawed hand out of red wind. "Sky devil's Evil Claw!" His punch lands straight under his jaw and sends him flying upward. Charon then started to suck in the air around him for his next attack. "SKY DEVIL'S..." pulling his whole body back, ready to unleash his attack. "RAAAAAAAAAAGGEE!" An enormous blast of wind the size of a category 5 hurricane hit Laxus all at once and he came crashing down into the ground. Charon, who used up his entire supply of magic energy, collapsed and lost consciousness.

"Laxus... lost?! LAXUS WAS DEFEATED!" throughout the town you could hear the collective cheers and celebratory remarks from the guild members who found out the day was won!

The Battle for Fairy Tail was over, and preparation for the Fantasia parade could continue, all thanks to the guild and the their newest ally, Charon.
