Oh dang I wonder what's gonna happen here... Hehehehe

Swallowing hard against the knife I raise my hands up slowly.

"Who's this?"

The knife moves away.

"Who do you think?"

Turning around I see the figure remove his Gold and Black helm with three blue eyes on it, seeing that messy brown hair from under the mask confirms it.

"Hey Jav..."

"So how's it back at the tow-"

I punched him across the face sending him back a few feet.

"HOW DARE YOU TRY TO PLAY THIS OFF. DONT YOU KNIW HOW MUCH HOLIDAY AND I MISSED YOU, YOU WERE OUR FRIEND AND WE DIDNT GET NO MESSAGE YOU WERE ALIVE WE JUST THOUGHT YOU DIED!"

Standing up and wiping the blood from his chin he weakly smiles.

"Nice to see you to..."

I haven't fully been able to leave yet you know? Besides even if I wanted to I couldn't... I found something Ben, something that will give us a chance in the fight to reclaim what we lost, something... That will defeat the hive..."

Doing my best not to react to that I calmly ask: "like what."

"I'll show you tomorrow, but first we need to get to shelter before the snow storm kicks up."

He started walking off toward the buildings in the distance and pulls his helmet back on.

Watching him from the back I follow carefully, and we walk in awkward silence.

After about a hour of walking we enter one of the buildings and look around.

"This one will do." He says and walks towards the elevator.

Stepping in he jumps through the emergency exit and starts to climb up.

"Where are we going?"

"Just a place away from the snow, by the way... How did you know I'd be here?"

"I did some research, Holiday told me about the secret base, and Cayde told me about how "Little Light" could make it here."

Chuckling he enter one of the floors and holds out his hand to help me up.

I take it and then without warning he pushes me off and holds me from one arm letting me dangle.

"How far has the hive transformation taken hold? You there minion yet? Or maybe you think you have some control of it and don't want the power to go."

"JAV, what the hell are you doing? Hive powers what? Are you crazy? Did the snow freeze your brain or something?"

Staring at me hard he dangles me there.

Ok then playing innocent won't work...

"Ok yes the powers have started to form but I can't use them expect for talking to hive, that's all I can do I swear, I have no allegiance to them I swear."

He stared at me for another minute before pulling me up.

"Ok I believe you. Sorry I had to test you."

"Ready to see my secret base?" He ask grinning.

"Hell ya."

"Ok it's halfway around the planet we'll make it there in 3 months."

"Are you joking?"

"No. Why, was it funny?"

"No but I don't want to walk for 3 months."

"I wouldn't ether."

"Huh?"

He tackles me out into the elevator shaft and we start falling down.

"YOURE INSANE."

"Only mostly."

Right before we hit the ground we melt into white light and disappear and then reappear in a work shop like place with a hanger for a ship.

"Mi casa es su casa."

"I don't know if you said that right?"

"Whatever. You like?"

Looking around I see a hanger with no ship, work tables covered in parts and stains, maps of places I don't know about, and a hive arm..."

"Uhhhh Jav... Why do you have that?"

"Oh yea I forgot, that's what I wanted to show you, I had to find it first."

"Find what?"

"Ok so you know how the hive attack the moons of planets before the planet? Well they attacked this one to and there's even a temple, but that's not the cool part... Apparently the hive have a weakness we didn't know about and we might be able to use it to wipe them out."

"What's the weakness and where is the temple?"

"I can't explain it, I'll have to show you."

"Ok... Show me..."

"Right now? You sure you want to see it? This second? This minute? This moment-"

"YES YES I DO SHOW ME."

"...k..."

He grabs my collar and teleports with that white light again.

When we reappear it's mostly white and blue until my eyes adjust.

When I do finally see what's in front of me my jaw drops.

"Is that..."

"Yup, a hive temple completely frozen and..." Walking over to a chunk of ice I see a thrall inside in the fetal position. "The ice it made them sleep, and put them in this state, the whole temple is full of frozen ones like this. The hive are weak to cold! They hibernate or something, look."

"Oh I see it..."

Walking up slowly behind Jav my hand grows green flames on it.

"So how do you think we can use this?"

"Not to sure... Maybe some type of freeze ray..."

Standing right behind him raising my hand up about to bring it down I think to myself any last words?

"You know something... I really missed you, you were my friend and I'm sorry for not coming back but I had to be here but I was so alone..."

Flinching I freeze

Jav... Forgive me...

Then I bring my hand down.

"Which is why I'm disappointed in you..."

Glowing blue he snaps around and kicks me sending me skidding across the ice.

"So you did lose your mind like I thought? How much did you lose to gain that power huh?"

"Shut up!" Standing and blasting green flames at him he runs straight through them at me.

"I remember when you saw your vision and wanted my help, like you wanted to change that future." Swiping and cutting air he tries to hit me while talking.

"That was before you left me all alone." Dodging and sending flames in every direction

"You mean to tell me you didn't make ANY friends?, that they didn't put you on a fireteam?"

Cutting the air and sending a wave of energy at me I cover my face with my arms and feel pieces of my armor fly off and cut my skin.

Glaring and eyes turning hive green with flames leaving a trail whenever I move my head I start to glow and grow green flames from everywhere.

Green wings start to form but they aren't like bird wings, no these are more like bat wings.

Putting a hand to my face I consume my mask in flames and when they go away and white helmet is there instead.

"So Jav... Want to know just how strong this power is?"

"Heh bring it..." He jumped and swiped at me but I swatted him away with one of my wings.

"Is that the best you got?"

Crashing into a temple pole and breaking it he struggles to stand up.

"You've gotten a lot weaker since the last time I say you, or maybe I've just gotten stronger..."

Laughing he stands tall and takes a step forward, all of his blue energy disappearing and his knife returning to normal.

"You don't get it do you? I've already won, all I have to do is teleport back and your secret will be sold and then we'll get rid of the hive, the only reason I'm still here is because I want to see if I can beat you when the time comes..."

"...and you think you can?..."

"Maybe but you know what's a funny story?"

"You're stalling..."

"I'm not and the story has to do with all this ice here, did you know they had to invent a special type of weapon to melt the ice and I've found out it works quite well in combat!"

Leaping he pulls out this long red and white thing with sharp ends over the end.

Swinging it like a madman he brings the sharp end down on my shoulder and fires the gun propelling him farther back and away from me before I can attack him.

"Damnit stay still."

Taking flight I hover off the ground and fire waves of flames at him.

Dodging he keeps firing up at me but missing slightly.

"You can't dodge and fire at the same time."

Spreading my wings wide and unleashing a torrent of fire balls at him, pelting him and burning off his cloak and armor leaving just his body suit, helmet, and some scraps of singed armor.

"Who said I was aiming at you?" Firing past my shoulder again the ceiling starts to shake and I look up to see a series of holes in the shape of a circle.

"Fuck."

Ice starts raining down on us making me use my wings as shields and blocking my view.

When it stops falling I move the ice off me and look around.

"Damnit he's gone! And I have a pretty good guess where he's going..."

Ok so yea... That happened find out what happens next tomorrow and since I have extra time to work I'll try to get Beta's backstory out today \(•-•)/ peace out scouts!
