Doflamingo laughed as his strings sliced through the last of the crew members left on the ship. He had thought they would have put up more of a fight, but these men were pathetic!No wonder they needed to rely on Avara so much to survive.

"She's going to be mad" Baby5 said as she walked over the bodies, "This wasn't a part of the deal you two worked out"

He chuckled and leapt off the ship, "She'll get over it once those two are dead"

His grin broadened and he turned back towards Baby5, who was still standing on the ship, "Let's hurry back to the palace, we wouldn't want to keep our friends waiting too long"

"What the hell!" Kou shouted at the two tall men who stood before him, "Why did you attack us?"

"Shit!" Tia said as she looked over at the rest of the unconscious crew members, "They're all down"

Avara narrowed her eyes and looked between Vergo and Diamante and the unconscious crew members. This wasn't a part of their plan. Doflamingo was supposed to wait for her to lead Kou and Tia to the palace, not send these two after them.

"You don't look very happy to see us" Diamante said as he turned his attention away from the two pirates and over to Avara, "Wonder why that is?"

"You know these people?" Kou asked, turning his attention towards her

"Doflamingo was supposed to wait for us to get to the palace before anybody attacked us, and even then only these two were supposed to get ambushed, the others were supposed to be left alone" Avara said

Diamante shrugged, "Change of plans"

"Doflamingo?" Tia asked, "You're betraying us?!"

"Betraying you?" Avara asked, "My deal with this crew was I'd help you get home, not help you play pirates"

"You little rat" Kou growled as he lunged at Avara, who easily moved to the side and avoided his hit.

"I don't think you should be calling her that" Diamante said as he grabbed a hold of Kou's head, "Doffy already wants you dead for taking her away"

"Then he can have her back! Just let the rest of us go!"

Instead of responding Diamante slammed Kou's head into the nearest building, knocking him out instantly.

"Kou!" Tia shouted, "Shit!"

Before she was able to do anything Diamante had punched her in the face, sending her stumbling back before she fell to the ground unconscious.

"That was easier than I expected" Diamante said as he grabbed a hold of Tia, "Oh well, let's head back. I don't want Doffy to get there before us"

"Before us?"Avara asked

She looked at Vergo who kept his face blank and then over to Diamante, who was wearing the same expression from when he'd taken out the rest of the crew members. Then it clicked.

"That son of a bi-"

Avara grunted and stumbled backwards as Vergo's bamboo stick hit her in the stomach.

"Watch your mouth"

Avara glared over at Vergo and held her stomach. She'd forgotten how much getting hit by him hurt.

"Vergo, hurry up and get the seastone cuffs on her so we can get going" Diamante said

"Fuck that" Avara spat out

Another hit, "Doffy never did like it when you swore"

Doflamingo was giddy by the time he returned to the palace, practically running through the halls to get to the throne room. When he finally did get there he slammed the doors open and scanned the room, easily spotting Avara who was sitting sideways in his throne. She instantly looked over to him with a pissed off look on her face.

His grin only grew and he made his way over to her in three strides. Her hair had gotten longer, and her body had matured but she had somehow avoided aging. He chuckled as he noticed the seastone cuffs around her wrists and her bruised lip. Of course she'd put up a fight.

"A-va-ra"

Avara felt a chill run down her spine when he said her name, his voice was low and dangerous. She couldn't even open her mouth to reply.

"Cat got your tongue?" He questioned

She gritted her teeth together and kept her pissed off composure.

"Fufufu, the silent treatment?" He asked, "Do you remember what happened last time you tried to pull that?"

Her face flush at the memories. It had been a few years since that but even when she thought about it now it felt recent. She shut her eyes and took a deep breath. Their nights were the last thing she needed to be thinking about right now.

"How about new memories?"

"How about you take these things off?" She asked, changing the subject.

He chuckled and pulled the key out of his pocket, "I don't think that's a very smart idea" He said, "You seem quite upset right now"

Avara narrowed her eyes and gritted her teeth together. She knew he was trying to get a reaction, she just needed to keep control.

"Fufufu..You know, it was fun killing off the crew members" He said, "Maybe I should go finish off the ones that Diamante left alive"

'Fuck it'

Avara jumped up from the throne and lunged at Doflamingo. She swing her wrists down at his head in an attempt to hit him with the cuffs. He laughed and dodged her attack. Before she could turn around and position herself to attack again Doflamingo's arm shot out and grabbed Avara by the back of her shirt.

"Don't pass out" Doflamingo said as he pulled her back and slammed her back onto the ground

Avara could feel the wind get knocked out of her as she came into contact with the floor. She mentally cursed herself out for letting him get a hold of her.

"Catch your breath before you stand" He taunted as he dangled the key above her

Avara ignored the throbbing in her back and staggered back onto her feet. Before he got the chance to open his mouth again she threw a kick at him, which he blocked with his own.

Doflamingo grinned as she winced in pain and stumbled backwards from the impact. He was impressed by the fact that she'd infused haki with that kick. Even though he was holding back against her he could tell that she'd gotten stronger, not that he was planning on letting her know that.

"You haven't landed a hit yet, A-va-ra" He said

He chuckled as she started kicking him again. He easily blocked all her kicks, and after about five minutes she was panting and trying to catch her breath. He waited penitently for her to throw another kick at him or even swing at him with the seastone cuffs again but after ten minutes of her glaring over at him he decided it was over.

"The tantrum's finally done" He said

"I wouldn't have had a dam tantrum if you kept to our original deal" She hissed

"Fufufu...Did you really think I plan on letting you off so easily?" He asked, "Even right now I'm still pissed off"

She sighed and plopped down onto the ground. Fighting with seastone had drained her, and now she was too tired to stay angry.

"If you're so angry I'll take a wild guess Kou and Tia are still alive" She said blankly, "I was kind of hoping you'd get rid of them before you came to see me"

"Dealing with you was more important than finishing them off" Doflamingo said, "After all, they're not going anywhere, who knows about you?"

"I can't go anywhere with these cuffs on" She said, "Take them off already"

"Fufufu~ That just makes me want to keep them on you" He said, "So for now, they'll stay on"

"Doflamingo!"

"We have other things to get to, so let's be going" He said as he turned on his heel and headed to the door

"Take them off!" She shouted as her body fallowed after him on its own

"Fufufu! Ask me again when you can put up a fight against the strings"

Doflamingo chuckled and watched Avara from the corner of his eyes as she tried to escape from the seastone cuffs. She'd gone from trying to slip them off her wrist to trying to break them. He wasn't worried that she'd somehow manage to get them off, if anything he was concerned that she was going to knock herself out in the process.

"If you injure yourself with those on it'll take longer for you to recover" Doflamingo said as he scribbled down something on a piece of paper at his desk.

"Then maybe you shouldn't have fought with me earlier" Avara retorted

"Fufufu~ You'd still be upset about those other members if I hadn't" He said

Avara narrowed her eyes but went silent after that comment. She would have loved to argue with him about that but she couldn't deny that her anger had died down after that little outburst.

"I wonder..did you really expect me to go along with that deal?"

Avara frowned and turned her attention back to the cuffs. She thought that if any of the members died it would have been the ones that would have gotten lured to the palace along with Kou and Tia, those were the men who were still happy to fallow after Kou even after he'd decided not to return home. The ones back at the ship were supposed to have left Dressrosa and gone home.

She sighed and finally gave up after a few minutes had passed. She knew he wouldn't have kept his part of the deal, that's why she tried to keep some of the better crew members safe.

Uhh..This wasn't the original chapter but that's because the original was terrible. I'm not even too sure how I feel about this one.

So let me explain myself. I doubt Doflamingo would let anybody who betray him off the hook(we can use Law and his brother as an example) of course I'm not going to have him kill Avara off. So yeah.

There's going to be some tension between them for the next few chapters, but there's also going to be some good stuff.
