Where'd You Go?
Chapter 4
Whisper In my Ear the Things You Want To Feel
Katara felt helpless, alone, abandoned, and scared.
Helpless because no matter how she turns or which way she moves, Azula still has her in her clutches. Azula can made Katara bend in ways she didn't know how. Azula said words that made her cry. Azula said once 'He'll never come for a peasant like you.' Katara closed her eyes and wished over and over that that wasn't true. Aang was going to come for her. He had to. He loves her. She loves him. She just wants to wrap her arms around him and feel safe again.
I want you back.
Alone because even though Azula was there, at the same time she wasn't. Azula didn't even realize sometimes that she was hitting Katara. When she finally noticed Azula would look scared and run out. Then Katara was really alone. She was alone with her thoughts. Not even a sound could be heard around her. She can't hear her element which was surrounding the boat she is on. She couldn't feel anything but pain. She was left to her dying thoughts and she felt herself going mad. She was truly alone right now.
Bumiā¦I'll be home soon.
Abandoned because she called for Aang when the house was under attack. She called to the Air Acolytes and to Aang. No one came. She was facing Azula and other benders with what little water she had in that room. Not even a vase of water, just a small cup. She hated she couldn't do anything. She punched and kicked until she was knocked out for good. At least at the warehouse there was a running sink of water.
Why didn't you come?
Scared because Azula wasn't in her right mind anymore. When they last fought, she had the advantage of underground water. Now she has nothing to protect herself with. Katara cried. That's all she could do. That's all she had to comfort herself with. The sound of her crying was the only sound she could hear. She wanted to talk, but all she could do was cry. She was terrified. Terrified she would never get to see Aang again. Terrified of Bumi growing up without a mother. Terrified that Aang will have to love someone else if she does die. She wanted to be the one to help him restore the Air Nomads. It was her duty. She was his wife. She can't die here! Not now! Not ever!
I refuse to die here without seeing Aang and Bumi again.

Sorry for the really short chapter, but I just wanted a chapter just for how Katara was feeling.
