Chapter 6

I must have fallen asleep because I looked at the clock and It said 13:31pm. Wow I never thought I would fall asleep. But there you go.

Suddenly, there was a knock at my door. I got up to answer it, I knew who it would be before hand. I opened the door, not realising I was in my pyjamas. I don't remember changing into them…

"Hey Kaz."

"Hey," I replied.

"Can I come in?" he asked as I was standing in the doorway blocking every way in.

"Yeah…" I said sleepily, as I had just woken up I didn't have much energy at the moment, so I went to make a cup of tea.

"Matt, do you want a cuppa?" I asked.

"Yes please," was his answer. The kettle finished boiling and I poured our tea.

I made my way into my lounge where I saw Matt sat on my couch.

"Here you go," I said and handed him his special cup.(He insisted that I let him use it every time he was 'round)

"What did you have to do then?" I asked, more-or-less making him choke on his swig of tea.

"What?" he replied. He knew full well what I meant.

"You know. What you had to do?"

"Oh…right yeah…" he blushed.

"Why are you blushing? You can tell me y'know Matthew." I said using his full name seemed to make him tell me things in the past…why not now?

"Yeah I know, I broke-up with Daisy…" He trailed off looking up at me through his shaggy fringe. He made me choke on my tea.

"What? Why?" I asked still choking.

"Errm…I broke-up with her 'cause I wanted to." he replied, not convincing me one bit

"I don't believe you for a second Matthew, tell me the real reason, now."

He looked down to his cup of tea, obviously planning how he was going to say the next bit.

"Alright…" He took a deep breath, "I broke-up with Daisy because I don't love her anymore, I love you Karen, I always have and always will, and now with this baby on his/her way I want to be with you, and be there for our baby when he/she arrives." he said so fast I swear he was going to pass-out.
