A/N: Here is the cooking phase. The only reason why I am continuing this story is because of the whacked idea I got today… Let's see if you can figure out WHICH one I am talking about. This chapter is dedicated to my sleep deprived brain. I am running on 4 hours sleep, and I don't plan on getting anymore any time soon. HELLO UPDATES!

Eyes down, feet scuffling. I looked up and saw her again. Mary-Sue. I had helped her during the swamp phase and well… My mind just couldn't get away from her.

Blonde hair like the sun, and blue eyes like the ocean I had visited once. Mary was…

"Ne~ Killua?" Gon asked his friend, poking Killua in the head. "Are you listening to the exmineers Killua?"

"Wha-? Yeah… yeah I am." He mumbled, looking briefly up at the man who was even bigger than Killua's pig for a cousin and a girl with 5 pink pig tails sticking up from the top of her head. Freaks.

Forgetting all about those two again, Killua looked at Mary, who was looking back at him!

Blushing, looking down aat his feet again, it was a few seconds before Killua looked back up. She was still looking at him with her wonderfully blue eyes.

Killua was standing beside Leorio, and old man who carried a brief case, who was standing beside Kurapika, a blonde boy with blue eyes and wearing baggy clothing he had never seen before…

Blonde hair, blue eyes… the description reminded Killua of Mary, who he couldn't help but glance at, again. She was standing on the other side of Kurapika, a few steps behind and she looked back at Killua to smile…

He couldn't look away from that smile this time, it was cute.. Had I just used the word cute? (A/N: Have I interrupted the story yet? No? Well, just wanted to say I didn't even know Kil knew the definition of "cute." Please continue reading! ^^)

Whatever, Mary was cute. How could she not be?

"Killua~" Gon tugged at his friends sleeve, who was yat again looking at the girl he had come through the swamp with. Gon thought she was pretty too, and wanted to become best friends with her! Gon liked making new friends… he liked it a lot!

"Yeah?"

"Let's go ne~" He pulled the whote haired boy away from the other three in their group as the rrest went off on their own. Kilua looked at Gon and saw him smile big.

"Hurry up you two!" His eyes caught out Mary, who was not standing in front of the pair, holding her hands on her hips in impatience. "We don't got all day and I want to eat! We need to get a pig before the big guy's stomach fills up!"

Killua turned to mutter to his friend since he was completely lost at what Mary had just said.

"What pig is she talking about Gon?"

"Weren't you listening to Machi-san Killua?" He asked back.

"Meh, sorta." I shrugged.

"We have to get a pig, roast it, then feed it to Buhara-san. Then if he likes it we go on to the second round and cook for Machi-san!" He sounded a little too enthusiastic..

Killua groaned at the pointless effort. He had never cooked a meal in his life, and Killua doubted he could cook a meal to save his life.

"I'm going on ahead slow pokes!" Mary called and sprinted into the thick surrounding of trees.

She was content to be with Killua and Gon but she just wanted to get a pig and get this stupid challenge over with. Mary was walking through the forest, hands clasped behind her back and looking for whatever kind of pig she could find, when Mary stumbled upon a guy with pins in his head!

"Um…" She said, wondering if she should actually greet him or just leave. Too bad the choice was taken from her as the pin man turned around. His teeth clacked together, you know, like they do when you are cold nd shivering? Anyway, that was what he did nad Mary stared at his face.

This guy was ugly… She thought with a laugh as Mary saw all the pins sticking into hs head. It probably didn't help his looks that he was bald.

Before Mary could actually ssay anything though, he turned his attention away from her and Mary, with her amazing eyesight, saw hom throw a barrage of pins into the trees followed by a loud

THUD

Uh… he walked toward the noise and Mary peeked after him. He lifted a giant pig above his head without seemingly any trouble.

"Awesome!" She called out and rushed right up behind the pin man. "That's so awesome mister! You took down a pig all on your own, and using pins! Wicked! Can I -?"

Mary reached out to pull on a pin that was inserted into his back , when he quickly dodged her hands. Turning to face her, with something flickering in his dead lookiiing eyes (surprise) Mary lowered her hand, disappointed that she couldn't have examined one of his needles up close.

Pouting with her bottom lip out, the man ignored her and simply took his pig with him as he disappeared. Well now that he was gone… Guess I should get my own pig.

Mary continued on her way, forgetting about her encounter though the man didn't.

He hadn't felt her presence until she spoke. aNd she had managed to get right behind his back, he only felt her as she touched one of his pins. A natural zetsu? Was that possible? And if so… he would have to be on guard. The only thing worse than someone who trained to reach a perfect zetsu was someone who came by it naturally. This girl could be very dangerous in the future…

A/N: Yeah, I got bored writing this fast. But I got in the scene I wanted to ^^ That makes me happy. Alright, I don't know when the next chapter will come (if ever). I prefer my other fics to this one, but I admit it helps to loosen up the typing fingers. Ciao peoples!
