I do Not own Naruto
Chapter 1: Five years later:
Five years have now passed since the events that happened in high school that broke Sakura Haruno's heart, now a successful doctor in those short 5 years, learning under the best doctor in the world, Tsuande Senju.
The young 23 year old rosette woman walked through the pure white halls of the hospital with a wooden clip board in her hands reading over what her next patient was. She silently made her way through the almost empty halls to her next patient, also her last one of the day with dull green eyes. The rosette was supposed to have lunch with her only high school friend Sai and her cousin Neko. Although frankly she didn't want to go so she was just going to have to take a rain check.
As Sakura walked through the halls with her waist length pink hair that swayed back and forth with each step she took, she couldn't help but to think about all those years ago. She pushed those thoughts away as they were useless to think of the past now.
She reached to her next patient a few minutes later and opened the door to enter and closing it behind her so no one could listen in. in the room was a man sitting on the bed. Sakura took a good look at him and thought he was absolutely handsome red haired man, must have been in his mid twenties to Sakura so most likely a year older then herself.
Sakura couldn't help but to blush at the man's appearance who was staring at her with a smirk on his face. Sakura let out an awkward cough and looked at the clipboard for the man's name.
"So Shinozaki-san, why are you here today?" Sakura asked
The man looked at her and started to take in her own appearance. Long pink hair, dull emerald eyes pale skin, and a slender body. If he was stupid then he would think that she was pretty when she was absolutely stunning.
He snapped out of his thoughts and looked back to the stunning woman in front of him.
"I have been having problems with my right eye and my original doctor at a local clinic told me to make an appointment with you" he answered
"Yes right, Dr. Tsuki, let's take a look" The rosette said with a smile on her face that even surprised her when it was real.
After what seemed like forever Sakura was able to tell that he was going blind in his right eye. After writing down what she had found on his record the rosette looked at him.
"It would seem that you are almost completely blind in your right eyes Shinozaki-san" Sakura told the red hair patient.
He let out an exhausted sigh after hearing her statement. He faced her and gave her another smirk that made her turn beat red. She quickly turned her face away so he wouldn't laugh at her blushing face.
"Thank you Dr. Haruno, so eye drops for now?" Shinozaki asked.
Sakura nodded at his question and started to write down a prescription to take before he has to go into surgery for it.
"I am going to book it myself because I feel like it could be something else" Sakura told him
He grabbed the paper with his medication on it and flashed her a quick smile. The rosette gave a smile in return as he made his way to the door.
Before he left he looked over his shoulder to look at the beautiful rosette woman. She gave him a questioning look.
"Shinozaki-san?" Sakura asked.
"Ryuu please, and may I ask a question Dr. Haruno?" he asked.
"Sakura then, what is it?"
"Are you free tomorrow night?"
Sakura's breathing stopped at the question the read haired man asked.
'Did he just ask me out?!'
'It's not like you have one of those tonight' her inner self said.
"I'm free, why?"
"Would you like to go out for dinner tomorrow night?"
"Sure Ryuu-san" the rosette answered
When Ryuu left, Sakura smacked herself on the head. She was angry at herself for acting this way; she swore a long time ago that she would never act this way ever again after what happened in high school. But pushing the thoughts of high school out of her mind Sakura left the room and started her way down the hall back to her office. She didn't want this at all, it wasn't like she trusted him, and in fact she didn't trust the read haired man at all.
When she got to her office, there at her door were her best friend Sai and her cousin Neko, with her arms crossed on her chest and glares on both of their faces. The rosette looked at the watch on her wrist and cursed herself, it was 1 pm, but to the young Sakura Haruno, working and helping people that couldn't help themselves were important to her.
Sakura sighed and walked up to the duo. She put her hands up in defense.
"I was with a patient that took longer than I thought" Sakura explained.
Neko and Sai looked at each other and sighed in understanding and in annoyance.
"Also I need your help"
The two looked shocked. The rosette never asks for help anymore, not when Itachi betrayed the young blossom and broke her poor heart.
"What is it?" Neko asked
"A guy asked me out"
The two were more shocked at this but all they hoped for was her answer.
"I said yes"
Sai sighed and pulled the pink haired woman into a tight embrace.
"If I ever see Naruto's face again, I am knocking him out" he whispered in her ear."
Sakura gave off a smirk as a response.
"They sure don't know who they lost"
So with this story, The word limit doesn't matter unlike my Shades stories. I am going to try to finish 3 today and post it today if I can. I am really sorry for the long wait on everything though.
