Chapter 3: The scar that held many

Sakura picked up her cell phone again and unlocked the screen. Going into her contacts the rosette scrolled down to Neko's name, touching the screen on her name and tapped it again to go into calling.

The phone rang for a few times before her cousins cheerful voice boomed from the other end, almost making the rosette cringe from the loudness.

"Saku! How are ya!" the raven haired cousin asked.

"Neko-chan I am doing well, but I have news to tell you, I want you there but please do not be mad at me okay?" the rosette asked.

If there was anything that Sakura hated, it was anger directed at her. Ever since she was little she hated people being mad at her and when her friends left her it got worse. Neko and her sister are the only two who never really get mad at her; although Neko's younger sister was studying in Canada for a year, they still kept in touch.

"Sakura? What is it?" Neko asked

The rosette snapped out of it when she heard Neko's voice calling out to her.

"Oh sorry about that, I called you because I have one of those tonight" Sakura told her.

It was quite on the other line for a long time before Neko decided to answer her about the new found information.

"When?"

At the tone of her voice Sakura could tell that she was NOT happy, but the rosette had to tell her anyway because for some reason if her raven haired cousin was with her at these events it made her feel calm because of what she could do.

"10"

The line was silent once again; Sakura could tell that she was thinking about it on the other line.

"Okay I'll be there."

Sakura sighed in relief at those words.

"However"

The rosettes heart stopped at those words. What did she mean by 'however'?

"You're driving me to the airport tomorrow"

"Why?" the rosette questioned.

"Awe I forgot to tell you because this happened recently. Britlynn is coming back from Canada tomorrow for leave"

"And you tell me now?! Geez she's like a sister to me"

"Sorry as I said it was last minute"

"Well as long as you tell me"

"Sakura. I want you to stop this"

Sakura was silent; she knew what she was talking about. The rosette knew that her cousin always worried about her about this type of thing.

"Neko you know that if I leave they will try to kill me for what I know"

"That's why I'm here! And with Britlynn back we have your back!" Neko exclaimed

"I know but I don't want to get you hurt"

"Sakura"

"Look I got to go. See you at 10"

Before Neko could even reply, she hung up on her and set her phone down on the table. The rosette leaned back on her couch and started to think. It was one of those nights.

After a minute Sakura got up and started to head to the kitchen once more and went into a cupboard under the sink. She pulled out a white box that said 'First aid' in bold red letters and opened it up. There was a countless number of gauze and band-aids, hydrogen peroxide, scissors, painkillers, and etc. Sakura made a point for everything and then pulled out a note pad and started to write down some of the items and times by a certain number.

'That should be enough after tonight'

Sakura then toke to her room and started to change. She put on a pair of ebony black pants that hugged her hips and a matching tee shirt that hugged every curve. The last touch was a dark brown belt with a small deep red bag that held pain killers.

The rosette looked at the clock in her room and saw that she completely wasted 2 hours. The clock pointed to 8 and as if the joints knew. Her arm started to hurt. Sakura ran a finger over a pure white scar that ran from the inside of her wrist to the start of her upper arm. She gave a small smile at it remembering her first night of these events. All seemed lost when unlikely savoir saved her from dying.

-Flashback-

Sakura was on her knees and panting. This was her first, at the young age of 18, still in her final months of high school; the rosette was breaking the law and doing something no one would ever think that she would ever do.

Participating in underground fighting.

She wasn't ready for it and certainly wasn't thinking going on the feeling of pure rage, Sakura was up against a 26 year old body builder. Although Sakura was pretty strong for a girl, she wasn't ready for this strong of a man. She sure got a few good hits on the man but she was on her last legs and the match didn't end until one was unconscious or dead; whatever came first.

Sakura couldn't move anymore and saw the man charging at her. The rosette knew that this was the end.

'Good thing we don't have anyone to make sad anymore'

During the fight when it looked like Sakura had the upper hand the man brought out an 8" knife and slashed, on reaction the rosette raised her arm to block, causing a long gash on her arm.

She saw him get closer and closer, memories came back from a few months earlier and why she was in this mess.

The rosette closed her eyes and waited for the blow to finish her off. After a few minutes and when the rosette couldn't feel pain; she decided to open her eyes again. The scene shocked her greatly. There stood with a foot on the man's stomach cringing in pain was a tall woman with jet black hair and sapphire blue streaks. The woman turned her head to Sakura's direction slowing, showing her piercing black and red eyes, glaring.

"So I have come to track you down after some time and this is what happened? Cousin what have you BEEN doing?" The woman asked her voice thick with an accent.

Sakura kneeled there for minutes, shocked at the scene. The match was called over and the woman came to the pink haired woman. She grabbed the injured arm which caused Sakura to wince and try to get away. The woman sighed again; it was clear that Sakura didn't remember her so she had to make her remember.

"Saku" The woman cooed.

Sakura looked up to the woman and looked into her black and red eyes. Her eyes were filled with concern, sadness, and regret.

"I'm sorry for leaving you. I don't know what happened for you to do this and right now isn't the time or the place to explain, let's get you to a hospital to get these wounds checked out."

The woman gently pulled Sakura up to a standing position and the two walked out and started to head to the nearest hospital.

The bad thing about the hospital? Tsuande, her school principle, and biology teacher, and basically surrogate mother, was her doctor that night. Trying to make her believe the lie failed.

Although the scar held the memory of almost dying, and her giving up on life, it also held the memory of surviving, meeting up with her lost family that cared about her and becoming her best of friends (whom the youngest of the 2 sisters, Britlynn, beat up Karin because she made fun of her Canadian accent) have been what makes her live the life she was given.

Now it was time for her to feel the rush of life once again.

So its revealed! She fights.

When this is up this writing will be in the past because I would have this ready for a few days before posting to get ahead on chapters.

I want to apologize for the lateness of this, I have been dealing with a lot of stress with people and so my body has been crashing (That probably isn't a good thing)

So I am working on Chapter 5 now (or when I finally put this up maybe its done?)

I am so sorry for the delay.
