A/N: Been a while since I worked on this… but going through all the fics for something new to read and I'm still seeing the same old plots. No offense to anyone but the "Kil's sister" and "Gon's sister" story plots are REALLY overdone. \

Now, let's see where this fic can go, shall we?

Killua: I have a bad feeling about this…

Gon: Ah Killua don't you trust Ria?

Killua: No way in hell! That girl is as psycho as my brother and that clown combined!

Gon: *looks at Ria* That's not true, is it Ria?

A/N: I was thinking he was actually being rather kind.

Gon: *blood drains from face*

Killua scratched at his head ahaain as the grils left. He didn't have a cle what had just happened. He had just mentioned another Kurta, so why the water works?

"Che girls are stupid," he said but inside he didn't want Mary to leave – he wanted to spend more time wth her. Shurgggin his shoulders Killua decided to follow.

Once Mary thought the three of them were far enough away from where she belived they had left Killua Mary faced Mika and wiped at the tounger girl's tears.

"I can't believe he made you cry like that! He's a jerk!" Mary shouted

"But Mary he probably doesn't know." Gonnie tried to step in as the voice of reason, since Mika was in no condition to talk and Mary was obviously still mad. It wasa sad day when Gonnie was the reasonable one.

Crashing in the underbrush allowed alerted Mary, Mika, and Gonnie that someone else was nearby and as they turned their heads they all noticed another gril coming through the trees – straight towards them! She seemed to be a couple inches taller, hd long silvery hair to her hips. Was dressed in a pair of jeans ripped at the knees and a navy blue long sleeved shirt underneath a black t-shirt.

Mary had to admit she looked pretty. Prettier than her. Mary hated her already.

The unknown gil stopped before the group and adopted a smile that was obviously fake but meant to look friendly.

"Hi girls," she said with a little wave, "Maybe you can help me out – I'm looking for my little brother."

"And why do you think we know him?" Mary ssaid cooly, eyeing the girl with open distain. She took it in stride. She shrugged, " You just look the same age so I figured."

"Who's your brother?" Gonnie asked, all eager to help though Mary just wanted to choke the girl for stopping the other one from just walking away.

"Killua, if he's stupid enough to use his real name," other then the name everything else was said undder her breath and Mary wondered if she had heard it right. It seemed weird, until she remembered Killua was an assassin.

"So you're part of the Zoldyck family too?" Mary asked without thinking. The unknown girl tunred on her.

"How do you know that?" It was said with a bite to it and had Mary cared a little more she would have flinched, but her unbrideld hatred for the pretty silver head left Mary feeling invalunerable.

"Because I've apparently met your brother. And we've talked. He told me about his family. Though he didn't menation a pesky sister."

Before Mary could really say anything more Killua appeared behind them and without a sound made his wy beside his sister. The sudden appearance of the assassin in front of her stopped Mary from saying anything more.

"What are you doing her e Alex?" Killua asked with a bitter edge to his tone. Loving family they were not.

"Looking for you little brother. Why are you even bothering with this menial exam when Dad has a list of clients for ou?" Alex crossed her arms and whn the two stood next to one another it was apparent they were siblings. Exactly how many years apart were they..? Mary wantd to ask but with them going at each other she held little hope of being hears.

Thankfully, Gonnie was louder and not at all ashamed of butting into someone else's conversation.

"Ah-nah, how old are you Alex?" unforetunatley Gonnie didn't seem to possess much of a spine as she shrank from the look Alex sent her way. Hoever she did answer with a curt, "13" before digging into Killua again.

Mary meanwhile was busy thinking… so she's a year older than us huh? Why does she act all superior then?

Of course Alex acte das she did because not only was she older, she knew she was stronger and better traned then the 3 girls before her. The only one who had even a chance of beating her (though he still hadn't managed to do so yet) was Killua – hough in a few more years under Dad's and I;;umi's training he would make a deadly assassin. The thought made Alex smile internally.

"Go away Alex! I'm finishing the exam and becoming a Hunter. Neither you nor Dad can stop me!" Killua's angry shout brought Mary back to her sense. Killua looked really amd to her…

"Wanna bet little brother? I could drag you home right now."

"You ouldn't dare," Killua breathed, seething.

"You bet I would but since I just want to see you fail I'll let you keep playing this little game of yours – and when you fail I'll laugh at you.' With out another sound Alex vanished. Like, vanished. She was gone in the time it took Mary to blink and not a trace of her remained. Creepy. Looking sideways at Killua Mary wondered if he could do the same thing.

Abruptly turing away Killua stormed through the trees and Mary didn't have time to open her mouth. Unable to say anything to who she wanted to Mary instead turned to Gonnie and Mika, who had all but bin forgotten during the siblings tuft.

Mary clapped her hands and put on a happy face ,a and she kinda felt happy now that Killua's sister was gone. Mary was the preetiest amoung the group again.

"Alright let's go looking for those tags." Less enthusiastic than they prvously had been, Mary, Mika, and Gonnie set off. Unknowingly being trailed by Alex, Killua's big sister.

A/N: Did readers miss me?

Killua: I sure didn't.

A/N: *pinches Killua's cheek* That's just because you're a sourpuss.

Killua: *glares*

A/N: Ooo~ Scary~

Killua: *stomps away*

A/N: Well now I've introduced the overdone Zoldyck sister – though I could NOT bear to make her a twin as well. Older sibling will have to suffice. At least my Zoldyck twins are from a branch family and not willy-nilly thrown into the main family… *grumbles*

Anyways I don't think I can keep this story in the exam arc for much longer – mainly because I don't know where exactly I am anymore and the fact that I write this so far apart. How many readers care if I suddenly skip randomly ahead? Do I even have to follow canon or will you all be content if I take my new cast, mix them with the old, and go totally wild with the story?

If anyone wants to share their opinion on the matter it would be appreciated. As for me, I'm going back to my reading binge. *waves*
