This Chapter will be going between third person and first person point of view, Third person will focus on Sakura, Ryuu, and Kakashi and the first person will from Neko. Originally this story was kind of going to be a… bleh story but now with all of the ideas I have it will be kind of an action story.

Neko's POV:

When I got the call, everything in my body just froze over, the restaurant that Sakura was in, is now in the hands of a lunatic. The sound of Hanamura's voice broke me out of the trance I was in.

"Do you know whose still in there?" I asked quietly.

There was a pause before he answered my question. I held my breath, fear overcoming in as Britlynn looked at me with worry written all over her face.

"Sakura's in there. I'm sure of it, but I'm not sure if she was hit or not."

I stopped, tears were starting to build up in my eyes as I felt every muscle in my body go weak and crumbled to the floor, dropping my cell phone was I went too. I heard Britlynn rush to my side and picked up my cell phone and talked to Hanamura's herself.

"Right, yes. Yosuke- Kun, no you can't go in alone! No-"

"I'll go, I swear on my life that I will get those people out of there! " I said as I grabbed my phone back. Tears started to well up in my sister's face but I stayed strong.

I stood up to my full height and walked into my bedroom to my night stand and opened it. My gun sat inside, I grabbed the holder and holstered the gun to my hip. Britlynn stood at the door way, hands to her chest and tears going down her face. Sadness flowed threw me as I realized that me, her sister, and Yosuke Hanamura, her boyfriend were going into a dangerous situation.

"I'll meet you there okay?"

"Okay….Tell Britlynn that I'll be okay for me please? I'll call her when I get home"

"Don't worry I will"

At the same time we hung up and I turned to my sister, we didn't really look anything alike. I was 6"2 with long straight black hair with sapphire blue streaks with one eye red the other ebony. Britlynn on the other hand was 4"10 with straight medium reddish brown hair with green-Grey eyes. She took after our father while I our mother.

"Brit, I'll be right back with Sakura okay? I'll bring her and Yosuke back safely"

I paused, thinking before I said my next words.

"Please lock the doors and windows and don't open them unless it's Yosuke or I okay? Promise me" I pleaded.

I think what scared me the most was that I saw realization in her eyes, the realization that I may die today. I didn't want my sister to ever feel that towards me but I know that I had to accept it; that I may die in the field one day.

I sighed and gave her a reassuring smile.

"I'll be alright okay?" I smiled

I walked towards the door after holstering another gun to my leg. I reached the door and looked back to Britlynn, concern still written on her face. I gave her a goofy smile and opened the door and left.

Meanwhile, narrative POV at the restaurant

Sakura was in a lot of pain. She felt the blood pool out of her body as Ryuu held her close. He had not yet noticed what had happened to her. Kakashi was under the table protecting his date as well as Sakura and Ryuu. They could hear the sirens outside but a man holding a gun was standing inside surveying the whole room of hostages.

"We need to try and get everyone out. Any ideas? Sakura…?"

When Kakashi looked over to her he noticed that something was terribly wrong. She looked pale and her breathing unevenly.

"Sakura?" he asked

That's when Ryuu looked at her. He pulled her away from him to see a dark red spot on her dress that was expanding. His eyes widened as he looked at her face, pale and half lidded eyes. Ryuu immediately put pressure on the wound that cause Sakura to hiss out in pain from the contact. Kakashi instantly went over to her as Ryuu shifted around to place her head in his lap while Kakashi examined the wound.

The silver haired man examined the wound on the side of her body before slightly turning her over onto her uninjured side to see that the bullet had an exit wound. He let out a sigh of relief. At least there was an exit wound. Kakashi lightly turned her back onto her back and swiftly grabbed a few napkins from the tabletop above them and started to lightly pack and put more pressure onto the wound making Sakura softly cry out. The pain was more than what Sakura had ever felt in her life. She could faintly hear the sirens outside but really heard the loud screech of tires that stopped in front of the building. Her mind was numbing, her vision had black spots all over it and she could barely hear anything around her. There was a loud voice speaking from outside and before Sakura lost consciousness she whispered one name.

"Neko"

I skidded to a stop in front of the restaurant and quickly got off my motorcycle and instantly walked over to another cop.

"Report. What's the situation" I demanded.

"A man went in and immediately fired rounds. We don't know who got hit or if anyone did but we can't seem to get in." The man stated.

I paused in my thoughts, thinking of a way to get the people into safety. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked to see Yosuke standing there. I gave him a stressed smile.

"We need to try and get him to come out. Let's try talking then we have to resort to Plan B" Yosuke said but at the end had a stressed out voice.

"What's Plan B?" a new voice called out.

We turned around to see Sakura's old friends standing there and some of them (and I mean the girls) had glares on their faces. I let out a sigh and turned back to the building before answering.

"Plan B is what we call The Last One" I whispered.

Memories filled my mind of back into the days that I wasn't so proud of. The days were I was partners with him and where lives meant nothing to me. When I returned to Japan I promised myself to change and to protect lives this time and it started with Sakura. So when I joined the force did many cases with Yosuke and entered dangerous situations. I told him my past and he understood it. The only part I left out was him, we then made a plan that when the situation couldn't be fixed with peaceful ways that Plan B was to take them down, although it would only be me to go in and deal with it.

Yosuke handed me a megaphone and I instantly jumped to the role.

"This is Agent Neko Melnychyn! If you surrender now then the charges won't be as severe as we know of! So please come out with your hands up!" I bellowed.

Silence was what happened afterwards. After a few minutes I heard noises from the inside and I lowered the megaphone as my right hand slowly reached for my gun at my hip ready for any surprises. Yosuke and Itachi were following my lead and when the man replied I didn't move my hand from hovering over my gun; readying for a quick draw.

"As if I would ever listen to a Traitor!" He bellowed back.

I went ridged and curled my back in a defensive stance. I knew that when he said that, that this man was a grunt of Kenchi's. I saw the man's shadow by the window looking out towards us and I knew that negotiating was going to be pointless at this rate. I looked at Yosuke and although his face didn't show it, confusion was written in his eyes. I gave him a 'please understand' look before he gave me a smile. I sighed and turned to a SWAT member beside me.

"Give me a ballistic vest and an earpiece. I'm going in" I said.

The member looked at me with shock clearly shown on his face as well as Itachi and his crew. The SWAT member didn't question me as he ran off and went to get the equipment that I requested. He returned in a few minutes and I started to get myself geared up. Quickly strapping the vest to myself and putting the ear piece in. I turned to Yosuke and saw that he also had an ear piece.

"We may be resorting to Plan B but I am going to be the one with radio's you and me only. We'll be ready on this side." Yosuke explained.

I only nodded my head as Yosuke positioned the soldiers to cover a path to the back so I could sneak in unnoticed. Before I could leave however Itachi and his crew stopped me.

"Do you seriously think you could do this alone? I bet you can't" Yamanka sneered.

At this point I was seeing red. I drew my gun and pointed it right at her. She froze in her spot as I had my harshest glare sent at her.

"Do NOT doubt me. My family and best friend are in there and nothing will stop me from getting her out of there." I snarled.

That was when I heard a gunshot from inside and I went ridged. I knew I couldn't stand around anymore and had to get in there and get this guy. Although that shot didn't derail from a question to be asked out loud.

"Who?" The blonde named Naruto asked.

"Why Sakura of course and that man better hope that she isn't hurt or surely there will be hell to pay" I said darkly, still looking at the restaurant.

The crew was quite, a few had shocked faces but I ignored them. Rage bubbled inside me towards them, I checked my clip before slamming it back in and turned towards Yosuke.

"I'm going in. Be ready" I told him

As I took a step forward I felt a grip on my arm and turned to see Sai standing there.

"Sai what are-"

"Shut up Naruto" he said darkly before turning towards me.

"Please Neko-chan get her out." He whimpered.

I flashed him a smile and held his hand on my arm and got him to let go.

"Of course I will. The night is on my side" I turned towards the restaurant before looking over my shoulder to look at the team.

"I never fail." I said before crouching and ran into the alley to the back of the restaurant.

"As if I would ever listen to a Traitor!"

The man turned back to his group of hostages that hid behind the tables. The smell of blood was faint in the air as the gun holding maniac scanned the room for anyone that moved. Kakashi was still applying pressure on Sakura's wound but blood was still seeping out. The sliver haired man tried everything but unless they got her to a hospital the worst was going to happen. They heard the agent try and talk sense but he wouldn't budge and call said person a traitor. The name rung bells to Kakashi but he couldn't place his finger on it.

They were in the middle of the restaurant behind a four person table. Sakura was drifting in and out and it was starting to get hard trying to make her stay awake. Ryuu was doing his best but there was so much that he could do. Kakashi only hoped that this was settled before it was too late.

It was quite out there Ryuu mused, even the maniac hadn't said anything, but it didn't last long when said man noticed something outside that made his anger spike. Ryuu heard him mutter something before crocking his gun and when Ryuu went to peak to see where he was when a gunshot rung out and there was a smoking hole in the floor by Ryuu's hand as he quickly hid behind the table again.

"Don't move! I will get you next time!" The maniac roared

Ryuu cursed as he shifted Sakura in his lap. The other woman beside Kakashi looked at the other woman and felt that she was useless to this. When she saw Ryuu shift around she knew that his was her chance to be useful.

"Here let her rest in my lap as you help Kakashi-kun" she whispered.

Ryuu looked at her with confusion and a little distrust. She could only smile at him but he allowed her as they shifted Sakura's head to be laid on the woman's lap.

"My name is Tifa nice to meet you despite the circumstance." The woman whispered but gave a light smile.

Ryuu couldn't help but to give a smile in return

All Sakura knew was pain. Her mind was going in out and fought to stay awake; she felt her head move from one lap to another and someone stroking her hair which oddly comforted her.

Sakura was terrified, her side wasn't letting up on the pain and she knew herself that if she didn't get the wound treated soon then she will die. That was what scared her the most. Dying. She heard a voice coming from outside but couldn't comprehend what the person was saying.

The rosette cried silently for her raven haired cousin to come save her. She wanted nothing more than to be in the arms of her cousin telling her that everything will be okay.

She felt Kakashi put more pressure to her wound and the rosette let out a low whimper from the extra pain. She knew though that sliver haired man was trying to save her and she felt grateful to him for it.

The maniac paced back and forth in the front of the room. The woman's voice still echoed in his mind as he thought back. He was only doing this because he was told to (But also he wanted Kenchi free so he get some….stuff)

He growled and continued to pace. He couldn't get that, Traitorous woman's voice out of his head. He smacked the gun against his head as he continued to growl from anger. He vowed to kill her this time and free his boss!

It continued to be quite and it made everyone stand on edge. They didn't know what the man would do and Kakashi tried to keep Sakura from dying. At this point he was using the cloth from the table. The blood was slowly down but it still wasn't enough for Kakashi. There was a very low sound that attracted Kakashi's attention but he brushed it off quickly as he thought it was nothing.

All Sakura saw was blackness; she turned and turned, trying to find somebody nearby or even just a single living soul. There was faint sounds coming from the distance and as much Sakura tried to focus her hearing on the noise she just couldn't focus.

Images flew past her and she tried to catch what it was. Images of Naruto, Sasuke, and Hinata went by her and she went ridged. Sakura crouched to the ground, her hands covering her ears as the insults they called her were coming back.

"No! Stop!" she cried out.

"Somebody help me!" she yelled out again.

The insults were getting louder and louder and the rosette was starting to lose her mind.

"Please…help" she whimpered

I made my way to the back door, making my foot steps as light as possible. I had my gun drawn as I crouched and got to the back door.

When I reached it I put my ear on the door, to check for any close sounds near it so it would be safe to enter. When I found none I reached my hand up to the door handle. I lightly grasped it and counted to ten. I looked back and saw Yosuke with a grim look and nodded his head. I nodded back and turned towards the door again. I exhaled and I opened the door slowly to make little to no sound.

I had only opened it a crack, big enough so I could squeeze through and silently closed the door behind me and turned to my left, I saw the cooks, a waiter, and the manager hiding behind the line station and when they saw me they froze up. I put my finger to my mouth as a "shh" motion and showed them my badge. They relaxed when they saw it and I motioned them over to me.

They silently made their way over to me and motioned them again to dip their head towards me so they could hear me better and when they did I started talking.

"There is SWAT team, police, 2 powerful detective teams from the police force, and EMT's waiting outside to move in. Now I am going to open this door and you will follow the alleyway to where it goes to the main road and there you will be met with those said teams and you will tell them everything that transpired here. Now manager I will probably break things, and thing may be broken that is not of my doing, so whatever happens I will pay for it okay? Sorry for everything." I whispered, bowing my head.

The manager quickly nodded his head and I quietly opened the door behind me again and they ran out silently and headed towards the road. I closed the door and a harsh glare appeared on my face.

'Time to get working' I thought to myself.

I grabbed some plates that were sitting on the counter next to me and held them closer to my side with my gun still pointing forward.

I made my way towards the dining room area, making sure that I wasn't making any sound.

I got to the door and slowly started to stand up to look out the window that was on the door to look out towards the dining room. When I looked through I saw about 95% of the floor and was able to scan the whole room.

I just happen to look fully to the left and saw a head of pink on the ground. Fear ran through me as I looked closer to the scene, I also saw a head of silver hunched over the pink.

That was when I knew that Sakura was shot. Fury burn furiously inside me and rage was clear in my eyes. I crouched back down and stared blankly at the wall in front of me, trying to calm myself down.

When I cleared my mind, I wiped the emotions off of my face. I exhaled and moved into position.

I slowly opened the door going into the dining area, carefully trying not to make a sound or any attention to the moving door. I slid through the opening I made, and still crouching down quickly made my way to flipped over table for cover. The plates that I grabbed were close to my hip as I looked over the table to look around to my next spot and assessing the situation. I noticed that at least 4 civilians were injured that included Sakura. I touched the ear piece in my ear and started to whisper.

"4 injured, get emergency ready stat"

I looked over again, trying to find the next space to where I could go to with no hostages and to plan my next course of action.

I surveyed the room and found a few places. They were pretty close but yet far enough to where the man wouldn't know that it came from me. I knew then that my plan would work.

I slowly made my way over to my next position, passing a scared couple as I went. I directed them to the back and behind to the table I was at to be out of the way.

I made my way to my next spot and got a plate ready. With my gun still up and in position to where I can swiftly move to the next safe spot, I raised the plate up and threw it to a spot a little bit away from the gun wielding man, right when it hit the ground I swiftly moved to the next spot.

The man turned wildly, searching for the person who did it. I pulled out another plate and waited a minute. I need him to where his back was turned towards me so I could strike.

When the time was right I threw another plate a little bit farther away. The man turned to where the plate shattered. His back was completely open to me. I gently put the plates down and with my gun pointed to the floor I swiftly and silently made my way to the man.

I quickly got him into a choke hold and he started to struggle against me.

It had turned out that the man was little bit stronger than me. He shook me off, catching me off guard. I felt a sharp throbbing pain when he shook me off but I ignored it.

I recovered quickly and pointed my gun at him, daring him to challenge me. The man snarled at me as he had a harsh glare on his face, he didn't seem familiar to me but I think I knew him from somewhere.

"Traitorous woman!" he snarled

It then clicked, he was one of Kenchi's men, and I probably saw him around town before, the bad part of town where most of the gangs reside.

I was a little shocked when he came running at me but I recovered and fired my gun.

The bullet hit him right into his thigh. I saw him go down and saw my chance. I swiftly moved, pouncing on his back and I produced a black zip tie from my pocket. I quickly zip tied his hands behind his back and he howled in both pain and anger. I touched my ear piece again.

"The target has been subdued, move in immediately"

Right then the SWAT, and police force came rushing in checking for threats and the paramedics came rushing in right after. I saw then put Sakura on a stretcher along with 3 things and they started to take the seriously injured ones to the hospital, to which I didn't follow Sakura because of policy, and they started to treat the less serious ones on the scene. I heard people make a fuss about it, but the paramedic's brushed them off easily.

That was when I felt something drip and roll down my arm, I looked down and saw blood going down my arm. I recalled to when my arm throbbed in pain from when the man shook me off and concluded that he had a sharp weapon on his person, and when I looked over to the police force picking up a knife that had blood on it, concluded that, that was the weapon that cut me.

The paramedic's guided me to the side and started to stitch up my arm, I saw Sai from the corner of my eye walk towards me and I gave him a small smile.

"Hey Sai"

"Hey, how are you doing?" he asked me.

"Alright I guess. I'm worried about Sakura though"

That was when I noticed her old friends walk up. I wasn't really in the mood to deal with all of their shit right now, and Sai went to stand me as he had a glare on his face. The paramedic just finished patching my arm up, only 4 stitches and he then wrapped in gauze and went on his way. That was when they reached Sai and I.

"So? Where is she?" Naruto asked

I looked down and to the side, my face unreadable.

"In the hospital, she was heavily wounded" I stated.

(There will…a decent amount of swearing going into this part. You have been warned)

"The whore deserved what she got" I heard the red head Karin sneer.

I just felt something…snap. Rage just burned inside of me. I snapped upwards to a standing position. My hand shot out and grasped her neck in a death grip. With my height, her foot dangled as I lifted her up. Rage was clear in my eyes as I ever so lightly made my grip tighter. I heard the choking sounds and a maniacal smirk made its way to my face.

I knew I was going back to my old ways but her comment just made me snap, I couldn't hold back my rage anymore. Sai had a look of shock while Yosuke had a guarded look on his face. Sakura's old friends all had fear on their faces and I knew it was because of me. My smirk grew wider as I knew what I could cause in people's hearts. My rage quickly returned as I snapped at her.

"It's because of YOU she's hurting, because all of the events YOU made turned the way she is now. Because of YOU I worry every day if she will come home alive." I snarled harshly.

I threw her to the ground and continued my harsh words but also directed them to the rest.

"Because of you PEOPLE she suffers! She's hurting and all because you believe the lies this bitch made up! I entrusted her to you people and now I can barely protect her myself. BECAUSE OF YOU SHE'S ALMOST DEAD!" I spat out.

A lot of them looked down in shame, Sai stood next to me with anger clear in his face too. That was when a member of the police force came up to me and had a look on his face that I didn't like.

"Captain Neko?" he questioned.

"Yes? What is it?" I asked.

"Your cousin Sakura, her condition did a turn for the worst and had to put her in a medical induced coma. They don't know if she will make it."

It felt like my heart and soul shattered. I crumpled to the ground as I went into shock. Sai was quick to my side as with Yosuke. Sounds turned into distant noises as tears welled up in my tear. I fell forward as tears escaped my eyes.

"No!" I cried out.

I had never felt this hateful to myself ever, but that was because….

"I failed her"

Hey guys.

I honestly didn't think I'd get this out for the next little while.

My dad has recently passed away (my last note for this chapter was acutally posted on the day he died)

And while I didn't think I'd get this out, I had a real urge to write, Maybe because since he passed, I haven't been able to sleep.

His death hit me hard, we were close, real close. Although I'm hurting, I know he was hurting a lot more than I am.

I was the one who found him too, but he just went in his sleep, Watched a movie, went to bed and then just never woke up. I know that he is resting peacefully with his father now. I accept that it was his time to go, I'm just saddened that he never got to see me turn into a real adult but he always watching over me.

Sorry about that I just had to get it out.
