Sorry for the long wait! I promise to update and finish this story very soon! Xoxo
Step, breathe, step, breathe, step, breath. Inhale through the nose exhale through the mouth.
God I hate running. Why am I even doing this?
Oh yeah that's right, Quidditch, the only thing that I need to focus on. Currently it is 5:47 am, and I'm outside in the cold morning air running around the Black Lake. I have a love hate relationship with running. I know it's good for me and it makes me feel better blah blah but honestly it is death. Mason better appreciate how serious I'm training for our next game.
Speaking of which our next game is against Slytherin who are dirty, nasty players and will not hesitate to hit me just because I'm a girl. Honestly, I'm excited to play a team that will treat me just like any other player. Last game, my team didn't even give me a chance to prove myself because they didn't pass me the ball! It totally messed our game up since we were only using two Chasers. Luckily James was able to catch the snitch otherwise the game would have gone the other way. I'm still furious at my team for how they played. In fact, the representative from the Ministry of Magic wasn't able to decide if I should keep playing or not since no one let me DO ANYTHING! At the next practice, the Gryffindor team better watch out because they are going to hear it from me.
…."And I swear to bloody Merlin, if any of you treat me like a piece of delicate China in the next game I will hex you so bad that I will no longer be the only girl on the team! Do I make myself clear?"
Shocked and terrified expressions looked up at me from the locker room benches as I finished my heated rant. No one knew what to say when I finished.
"Well get off your arses, and go practice we have no time to waste!" I barked. Jumping up, my teammates hurried out of the locker room to get away from the psycho girl. Walking over to the mirror, I smoothed my hair and grinned. There was absolutely no way they were going to think they had to protect me now.
Heading out of the locker room tunnel I heard hushed voices. "She was bloody terrifying I nearly wet myself!" I heard Frank say. "I know!... She is awesome." I think it was James that said that. I couldn't help but smile to myself.
Sorry, really short chapter but more to come! Review!
