And, so I have a new chapter for this. And if you have any story ideas you might want to run by me for a joint, or have a challenge, or just want to talk, please PM me and we'll chat!

Chapter 3: I'm going to school.

The next morning, Erika woke to the sound of her phone buzzing. Grumbling to herself, she sat up and picking up the phone, looked at who was calling. It was Monika.

MORNING. HOW R U?

Erika rolled her eyes.

TIRED. YOU WOKE ME UP.

REALLY ERIKA? PLEASE TELL ME U AREN'T PAMPERED AFTER 1 DAY OF BEING WITH 'DAD'.

I'M NOT. I'M JUST NOT GOING TO SCHOOL.

Y?

I DON'T KNOW. I WANT TO GO BUT...

THEN GO! TELL YOUR DAD THAT YOU WANT 2.

Erika smiled before texting back:

OKAY. I'LL DO IT. THANKS! :)

U R WELCOME.

Putting her phone down, Erika got up from her bed and looked at her clock. It was 5:15! She frowned before turning around to her dresser and pulling out a ruffled black tank-top and a pair of jeans. Accompanied by lightning bolt shaped earring and necklace. Then with careful fingers, pulled her hair into a side french braid and grabbing her back pack and fingerless gloves, headed to the bathroom.. Before closing her door, she looked at her alarm clock, it read 5:45.

She smiled before heading to the bathroom where she applied a thing layer of purple eyeliner, mascara, and pale lipstick.

Then at 6:00, headed downstairs to the kitchen. Surprisingly, Vlad was up. He turned his head as he heard her coming and looked her up and down.

"What's the get up for?" he asked.

Erika set her bag on the ground and her gloved on the counter as she grabbed an apple and bit into it. "I'm going to school."

His eyes widened then darkened. "Your mom didn't want you to."

"I don't care what she wants. I want to go to school, and I don't want you driving me. I'll walk."

"Erika, I won't let you."

"Oh yeah? And what are you going to do? I've already been kicked out of all the schools I've gone to, and I don't want to sit through a tutor that will bore me to death."

Vlad crossed his arms and observed the teenager as she bit into her apple again. She stared at him defiantly and he drooped his head, knowing he wouldn't get anywhere with a teen like her. "Fine, but I have a few ground rules if you want to go. 1) no boys. 2) no staying out past 10 o'clock. 3) if you are going out, contact me. And 4) you will finish your homework before you doing anything fun."

Erika looked steadily at him as she considered the rules. Then she nodded. "Agreed." Now finished with her apple, she turned and headed upstairs to brush her teeth and apply more lipstick.

Vlad watched her go before turning around and pulling out bread, jelly and peanut-butter, made a PB & J sandwich. By the time Erika was back down, he had it in a bag and was putting another apple into her bag. She flashed him a smile before grabbing a bag of chips on the counter and waving, opened the door and stepped out into the street.

She smiled to herself as she glanced back at the mansion before running toward the school using her phone's GPS.

~TIME SKIP~

Erika arrived at school and her eyes widened as she beheld the humongous school. She'd never seen one this big before! Her phone went slack in her grasp as she stood there gaping, and to late noticed it was slipping.

All of a sudden, a dark hand shot out, causing Erika to jump. Then the owner of the hand stood up and looked at her before holding the phone out to her.

"Nice phone. Wouldn't want that to get broken," said an African American boy wearing a red hat.

Erika took her phone from him and sliding it into her pocket flashed him a thankful grin.

"I'm Tucker Foley. And you must be new here."

Erika pursed her lips and glanced behind the boy at a goth girl and a boy with raven hair and blue eyes. "Erika," she said, shaking his hand. "And yes, I am new. I just moved into town."

"Sweet!" Tucker said, smiling at her.

She didn't return his smile as the goth and raven boy walked up.

"I wouldn't necessarily call it sweet," Erika responded, shrugging her bag higher onto her shoulder.

"Tucker, who's this?" asked the boy.

Tucker turned to them, but before he could speak, Erika spoke up.

"I'm Erika."

The girl smiled. "I'm Sam, and I like your clothes."

Erika glanced down before looking into Sam's violet eyes. "Thanks."

"My name's Danny," the boy said.

Erika turned to him and studied him. Then she pursed her lips. Something about him reminded her of someone, but she couldn't place who. Still contemplating, she shook Sam and Danny's hands.

Tucker looked at them all and smiled before heading toward the school. "Come Erika, we'll show you the wonder that is Casper High."

Erika raised an eyebrow at his tone but shaking her head, followed after him. Then she glanced back at Danny and Sam. "You coming?" she asked.

"We'll catch up!" Sam called, looking worriedly at Danny as he glanced around, eyes wide.

All of a sudden, Erika felt a chill ride up her spine and turning her face away from Tucker, she watched the small vapor rise from her mouth. What was that? she thought, glancing around the school. But she followed Tucker around as he gave her a tour, even when every bone in her body screamed for her to find out what the odd shiver and vapor meant.

She met Danny and the gang! YAY! What will happen next? And why did she shiver? Why was Danny looking around weirdly?

Sorry, you're gonna half to wait until the next chapter!
