Chapter 14: Part Away(part 3)
"Let's go there" Ziyo commanded, Lucy just nodded, following him while looking down.
...
"Ziyo?" Lucy asked, finally getting the courage to ask about it.
No answer...
"Ziyo?" Lucy tried again, looking up.
He disappeared.
Lucy was still getting over from her nightmare, probably her worst.
Shivering, she looks at her surroundings... Pitch black... She couldn't see a thing...
"—va!"
Her ear twitched, did she just hear that?
"—erva! You better not messing with me!"
Was that... Sting's voice?
"Sting!" Lucy called.
"Lucy?!" Sting called, turning on his magic and finally saw Lucy about a kilameter in estimation.
Both ran to each other, panting. They hugged each other.
"I'm so glad." she murmured.
"As do I" he said, tightening his hug.
As soon as they parted, Lucy called for her sword given by Laxus, the Celestial Blade.
Thrusting the blade to the ground, light emitted everywhere. Lucy smiled, that did the trick.
They walked deeper and deeper to the hallways.
Lucy clung to Sting.
Sting noticed that every furniture they've turn to, she would always tighten her hold on him.
"Lucy?"
She hummed.
"Are you alright?"
She nodded her head before fainting.
Sting looked at her in shock. He smiled and carried her, bridal style.
As they walked, and walked and walked through the light made by Lucy.
She was definitely his light. Sting was sure of it.
"Lucy?! Lucy, where are you?!" shouted by Ziyo.
No answer.
"Lucy! Answer me!" called Ziyo.
"Ziyo is that you?!" a familiar voice shouted.
Ziyo's eyes widened.
"Minerva!" he called.
"Ziyo!"
Emitting a fire on his hand, he finally saw Minerva. He smiled at her as they kept walking forward.
He noticed Minerva was flinching every time they passed a shadow.
Both were deep thought in their very own worlds.
Ziyo still couldn't believe he was cheating on Lucy. Yes, he loves her as much but still... She was practically his world! He sighed. This is all too confusing. Why did he even cheat on the first place? His eyes squinted... Somehow, he just couldn't remember how...
It was one day, he kissed Lucy senseless then the next day, he woke up beside Minerva. It was very odd, alright. Very, very odd, indeed. One of the mysteries in his whole life. Though, he know, someday, he literally has to take it seriously...
Minerva also was confused. One day she was with Rufus, on a date then bam! She woke up with Ziyo beside her.
Both were confused, they decided that very morning to shout at each other but one letter changed it all...
'Play along or Lucy and Rufus dies.'
Minerva lets out a sigh. "Look, Ziyo... You know I don't like you right?"
He nodded. "Same here."
"Look, I badly want to get out of this mess. Rufus and I broke up because of this bull of a shit. I want to get back to him but I can't do that after what happened..." She trailed off...
They remembered it too clearly as they shuddered at the memories.
It was one day of their bickering... A person in a cloak came. The person has a horse voice, too horse to figure the voice out. The person said something about one snap and then you're gone. Of course being the stubborn persons Ziyo and Minerva are, they did not believe that person. The stranger smirked and clapped his or her hands as both felt their bones broken.
Then, the next day, they have awoken again only to see both of them were in the same bed. Thankfully, with clothes.
Soon, Ziyo found himself falling for Minerva, not in that particular way, in a sibling way! He found himself having a soft spot for the Sabertooth mage.
It's just too bad that they were caught in a heavy situation right now.
They reached a large wooden door with a sign, they entered the door not bothering to read it.
Sting was still carried Lucy. He smiled softly at her angelic smiling face. She was asleep yet she still looks angelic and beautiful. It amazes him how she could sleep, smiling. Nevertheless, she looks so peaceful and cute.
At the time he reached a rusty wooden door, he immediately woke Lucy up.
"Lucy... Come on, wake up." he said, smiling softly.
Lucy moans, opening her eyes, smiled. She yawned, rubbing her eyes.
She then stretched, her fist bumping to Sting's chin.
"Hey!" Sting grumbled.
Lucy giggled, "Sorry!"
Silence... Then they laughed.
Maintain their laughter, Sting opened the door, ignoring the sign.
"Don't!" Lucy says.
Sting looked at her, his eyebrow raised.
"There's a sign.." Lucy murmured. "And a box too..."
Sting nodded at her.
Inside the box was a flashlight. Sting looked at Lucy questioningly. Lucy just shrugged.
They read the sign and entered the room.
The sign says...
'Don't look back.'
Dun Dun Dun! Haha! Does that sound familiar to you? Guess it! ZIYO WAS PROVEN INNOCENT! YEY!
Me: Sorry for the small chapter!
Natsu: Why am I not in the chapter?(whines)
Me: Soon, Natsu-san! Very soon!
Natsu: Yea, well good luck on writing the next chapter!
Me: (shivers in fear) I don't know if I can do that. It might not be creepy reading it but I'm sure as hell it would be creepy writing it.
Natsu and I: BYE! WISH HER/ME LUCK! XD
Me: Hey, Natsu-san, I have ice cream for me and some fried chicken you would like.
Natsu:Alright! Let's eat it!
Me: One thing... Burn this marshmallow, will ya? Oh wait— Not too— KYAH!
