Chapter 18: Cheating Never Gets Old {Final Chapter}
"Today is the last day of the games?!" The Fairies exclaim.
"Apparently so." Macarov says. "Something came up so they had to cut the games two days short. So you brats better do your best!"
"What are the points, Gramps?" Natsu asks.
"Sabertooth has 83 points. Blue Pegasus has 84 points. We have 90. Lamia Scale has 91."
"We're in second, I see..." Erza mumbles.
"Sabers in last? Somehow unbelievable if you ask me," Gray says.
"I heard that the last game would be about teamwork." Lucy says.
A giggle was heard at the corner of the room.
"Which is why I'm here,"
"First!" They exclaim.
Mavis grins, "I have a plan."
"Welcome to the Last Day of Grand Magic Games!" Mato exclaims. "There was a problem, so the games were cut. Gomen! ~Pumpkin."
"But this day wouldn't disappoint you! ~Pumpkin!"
Wild cheers were heard around the place.
"Now for the guilds! Sabertooth! Bue Pegasus! Fairy Tail! Lamia Scale!"
If possible, wilder cheers were heard once the guild members showed their faces to the crowd.
"Lamia Scale is leading with 91 points and Fairy Tail following with 90 points! Nani?! Sabertooth is the last with 83 points and Blue Pegasus having 84 points!"
"Now, for today's games! It's simple. Today's games are called "Shooting Lacrimas".This game would conquer the whole city of Crocus. Each mage in the arena would put five protective lacrima's on their body. They would have to put the lacrimas on their heads, chests, shoulders and the stomachs. To earn points, you have to hit the lacrimas on the mage from the opposing team using your magic. If you would get hit in a single lacrima, you're automatically out. But know this, if you aren't hit in one of the lacrimas, you get to continue. If you would hit the shoulders, you'll get two points. Hit the stomach, you would get one point. Hit the head, three points. Hit the chest, five points. If you would get at the other parts of the body, specifically where there are no lacrimas, you and your predator would be teleported at the other parts of the city, separately." Chapati explains clearly.
"You have two hours. Start once the timer hits zero."
Thirty.
The Fairies readied their plan out.
Twenty-five.
The Lamia team started getting ready.
Twenty.
Sabertooth started rethinking about their plan. Apparently, they, too, had a master plan for themselves.
Eighteen.
Fifteen.
Thirteen.
Ten.
You could feel the tension around the arena. Even outside the arena.
Three...
You could tell everyone was excited and nervous.
Two...
Macarov was literally very close to having a heart attack.
One.
Once the timer hits zero, bangs, sounds of explosions and grunts of pain were heard around the arena.
A month has passed since Lucy's break-up with Ziyo and the Grand Magic Games. She and Ziyo never got back. Though... It was really a shame. But the bond of Team Elemental still exsists.
A lot was disappointed. Example: Mira. She went into a coma for two days after she knew that the two broke up. Doctor says her heart stopped beating and started crying.
A lot has happened too from the past month. There was built a second building of Sabertooth in Magnolia. So the mayor was more that happy to know that there were three guilds in Magnolia. Two of them, in fact, are one of the strongest guilds in history.
Through the month, the bonds between Sabertooth and Fairy Tail were connected and continued to strengthen.
Ziyo and Minerva broke up, seemingly that the mysterious person disappeared. The two mages concluded that what the mysterious person really want was for Ziyo and Lucy to break up, seemingly that the person disappeared once Lucyband Ziyo broke up.
As for Lucy and Minerva, however, they were "alright." Minerva hasn't properly apologized but Lucy didn't seem to mind.
Minerva thought of ways to apologize but it was useless. Frustrated, she just decided to apologize honestly. She has to do it. As soon as possible.
As for the two lovers, Kazumi and Crystal, they were dating. Or as they say "testing if we're really worth being in a relationship." People mostly thought it was foolish... Well, because it was. Very.
Lucy? Well, you could say she managed to be single for a month. (Hooray.) She fell in love and got broken. Simple as that. You could say that inside, she was afraid to fall again. Or at least, that was what everyone thought. Only Lisanna, Crystal, and, somehow, Minerva knew the truth. Only the three knew who Lucy really picked.
The Grand Magic Games.

Ah, the Grand Magic Games. It was a tough one.
Sadly to say, Fairy Tail came out as second by one point less with Sabertooth as thebactual winner. It was truly an event to remember. Fairy Tail got over it though, as usual.
Lucy and Crystal were taking their usual walk and decided to take a break in a nearby cafe.
"I'm telling you Lucy, Kazumi's been acting weird for the past two weeks..." Crystal complains as they entered the cafe.
"Well... I'm sure he has a pretty good reason for that." Lucy concludes.
"You think so?"
Lucy nods, humming.
"So... you picked him out of the three?" Crystal asks.
Lucy nods, smiling and slightly blushing.
"May I ask Why?"
"... Oh Crystal, love doesn't need reasons. You fall in love and may or may not get hurt." Lucy explains, sitting down on a table.
"What would you girls like to have?"
"I'd have Strawberry Milkshake and a a slice of velvet cake please," Lucy says.
"What about you Miss?"
"I'd have black forest shake and two blueberry cupcakes,"
While they were in the middle of finishing their food, they heard a call of their names.
"Crystal! Lucy!" Lisanna huffs, trying to catch her breath.
"You have to come with me! It's terrible!"
The two nods, paying for their food and left.
The three hurried to the guild and saw something that made their heart break.
Crystal cursed, "Oh my Fucking Mavis- I though we were done with the cheating since the Grand Magic Games!"
"Don't people get enough of cheating?" Lucy cried.
There were Kazumi and Lucy's love. Kazumi was making out with Blair, Crystal's only living relative. While Lucy's chosen lover was also sucking faces with Luna, one of Lucy's bestest friends.
The two girls couldn't take it anymore and ran away, despite the shouts of Lisanna to come back.
Fate was really toying with them, huh? For fuck's sake they were sick of it.
They found themselves in front of a nice looking house.
"Lucy? Crystal? What are you doing here?" A familiar voice asks.
They looked at the owner of the voice and saw Minerva.
"... We couldn't handle it so we ran away," Crystal sobs.
"Well, this is one of my houses, would you like to come in? Then, let's talk about your situation." Minerva offers and lets the two Fairies in.
...
"I see..." Minerva says, taking in the said information. "I actually never knew they were capable of doing that,"
"Would you like to stay here for the mean time? I live alone and I have plenty of guest rooms,"
"If it isn't a bother," Lucy accepts.
"Oh, not at all, consider this as my apology.." Minerva mumbled.
"Hey, I already forgave you since the start," Lucy smiles.
"I'm glad. But you two are still staying though," Minerva chuckles.
The other two laughs.
"I'll be back. Let me just walk my problems off," Lucy says and leaves.
"Hey Minerva...?" Crystal calls.
Minerva looks at Crystal, smiling.
"I knew what happened," she stated, "Why Ziyo cheated, anyway. I was wondering... Why didn't you tell her?"
Minerva sighs. "Actually, if you think about it, she'd be angrier if she knew that someone was threatening Rufus's and her lives,"
Crystal smiles, "You're really a nice woman, Minerva."
Miverva smiled, "Thank you. Many people don't think so."
"What happened to you and Rufus-san?"
Minerva shook her head, "We aren't together... anymore."
"I see... Ne, could we talk on the rooftop? The sight of the moon calms me,"
Minerva agreed, not bothering to ask about it.
There, the two comforted each other when talking about their problems.
With Lucy, as she said, she walked her problems, very deep in thought she haven't notice she was in front of Natsu's house.
"Luce!" He calls.
Lucy stops and looks at Natsu.
"Hey Natsu,"
"Lucy...? I smell tears. Did someone hurt you?!" He asks.
Lucy smiles, "I'm fine... just a bit hurt."
"What happened?" He asks.
"I saw him kissing Madison," she sobbed.
Natsu frowns and hugged her.
"I'm sorry Luce. I'm sorry I wasn't the type for a lover and I'm sorry if I didn't love you enough," Natsu says. "If I was better, I could've love you and you'd never get hurt."
Lucy just sobbed while Natsu comforted her.

(Nope, its not Natsu sorry,)
Lucy smiles at Natsu, "Thank you Natsu,"
Natsu grins, "Anything for you. But you're gonna be alright, right?"
Lucy nods.
The two said their goodbyes before leaving.
Lucy went back to Minerva's place as the three girls thought of what they were going to do tomorrow.
Three weeks have passed since both Fairy Tail and Sabertooth saw Lucy, Crystal and Minerva.
Concerned, the two guilds began searching for the lost three mages, each time coming back empty-handed.
That was until Rufus decided to search in Minerva's house and found a note regarding the three mages' disappearance about running away independently.
He showed the two guilds the note and they had no other choice but to let the three girls go.
No one saw, or even heard, about the three.
Until two years has passed.
