A/N: I finished a longer chapter for ya'll! Yay! Let me know what ya'll think.
When Wednesday finally rolled around, Charlie was in a particularly obnoxious mood. They had all crashed at the bar... again, and before everyone woke up, she had tied a small jingle bell she had left over from Christmas around Benny's neck. She then got up and started moving around in the kitchen, half looking for food, half knowing it would wake Benny up. Sure enough, within 10 minutes, the Cajun was in the kitchen, glaring at her.
"What?" She asked innocently, cracking a couple eggs over the griddle.
"You know what, girly," He said, shaking his head lightly, the bell ringing.
Charlie fought the urge to giggle, finally having to bite her lip to keep herself quiet. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Benny glared at her, taking over the cooking, adding onions and peppers to the eggs. "Sure you don't. I know this wasn't Dean. I can't sleep through his heavy movements. You on the other hand, I know I can sleep through."
She flushed lightly, running her hand through her hair. "Well, for this one, I'm not sorry. For the other thing I am. I had a good time, but I -"
"Charlie, don't worry about it. What's in the past is in the past and I'm not..."
"You're not what, Benny?" Dean asked from the doorway, as he headed for the coffee.
"Nothing, Dean."
"Nothing, my ass. You two knew each other before Benny started working here. I'm curious as to how."
"Dean," Charlie started, but she trailed off not, knowing what to say.
"Brother, you don't need to know. Does it really matter?" Benny stepped to the plate to help Charlie out.
"When it affects one of my employees and my two best friends, hell yeah it matters. Now what happened?"
"Well, I met Benny at the bar when I was out that one night a couple weeks ago, and.." Charlie trailed off again, not wanting to get into it.
"And?"
"I bought her a couple drinks and that was the end of it." Benny said, putting the eggs on some plates so they could eat. Charlie looked at him, smiling a thanks. Dean nodded, with a look that said he didn't quite believe them, but thankfully he dropped the subject. After they finished eating, Sam and Luce came stumbling in, going straight for the coffee.
"Morning sunshines." Charlie said, grinning. She handed them each a plate with some eggs and toast. "Nice of you to join the land of the living."
Luce looked at her and rolled his eyes, "if this is living, I think I liked the land of the dead better. Why is everything so bright... and loud?"
Benny smirked, raising his voice a little bit, "It's just in your head. I don't know what you're talking about."
"To hell you don't." Sam said rubbing his head. "What time is it?"
"Just after three. You two might want to wake up a little bit in the next couple hours."
When they heard what time it was, both their heads shot up and they both headed to the door so they could go home to take showers. As soon as they were gone, Charlie and Benny smirked at each other.
"So, Dean, do you and Cas wanna watch Desolation of Smaug tonight?" Charlie asked.
"Sure. Who's bringing the beer?"
"Why do we have to do it?"
"Well, last time we had you two over, you drank us out of our supply, so this time you're funding the alcohol."
Charlie laughed as Benny volunteered to pick up a 24 pack on his way over to Dean's place later.
As seven rolled around, Benny texted Sam, "I'll be there in about 10 minutes save me a spot."
As soon as Sam responded, Charlie texted Lucifer, "You'll never guess who I found in the theatre! I'm sitting next to Sam, but I have to go to the bathroom, so just join him."
Lucifer responded pretty quickly and Benny and Charlie high fived as they walked in the front door of the bunker, beer in hand.
A/N: So some serious things got talked about... and Dean's sure something's up. Will he find out?
