Withering Away
You fell in love with my flowers but not with my roots.
So when autumn arrived, you did not know what to do.
With each falling petal, your love ran dry.
Making me wonder… Making me cry.
The sunlight we shared is slowly growing dim.
Look at what you did!

Another petal drops and still you are distant.
The only thing between us now is my loving persistence.
