2. Chapter 2

Hello ladies and gentlemen, Silver here. Anyway, HOLY CRAP! I did not expect 120 views in 2 days, so I just got so motivated right now. I'm starting to type this earlier than planned because of the amount of views I got in 2 days. 1 person liked this story and 4 people followed. My other 2 stories took way longer to get even up to 50 views. Someone asked me did I base my weapon on some else's idea and I will answer you know no did not. I thought of the katana gun on the spot as I was typing the first chapter. I just thought I would look cook and I liked the idea of a katana gun so I went with it. I might add some interesting abilities with it. I haven't put much thought into it. I have decided who will be in whose harem. Here's the list:

Silver (Me): Blake, Ruby, and Yang.

Jaune Arc: Pyrrha, Weiss, maybe Velvet

Ren: Just Nora

This is only the main pairings. I might add more females into this so this is not the final harem. As for Ren, I thought Nora would be enough and I'm pretty sure he doesn't need anymore. Even if he does Nora would just beat them off. I don't have anything else to say but lets start the chapter!

Chapter 2: The Test and Beginning of a Team- Pt 1

It was morning by the time I woke up. The sun was barely up and everyone else was asleep. Before I fell asleep, the Guide as I call the voice in my head, it told me that stats ca be raised unconditionally through training, which I can improve my strength by doing pushups or something.I did 20 pushups, sit-ups, and ran 5 laps outside which took about 2 hours due to me being slow and the laps were big. I know, I know, why am I doing so little right now? Well I wasn't exactly born to do this stuff so I got to be taking it easy. By the time I was done, my body was sore. Checking the time, I realize that is was around 6 o clock, and the test starts at 8.

This popped up 3 times along with each bell ring. I went to my stats to see what I have and what I should concentrate on more.

That was when I realized my aura was unlocked. If it was unlocked, is there a skill I learn from it? Giving it a try, I slowly called my aura. At first nothing happened, but a few more seconds afterwards I started glowing a thin layer of light blue color.

Now that was fun. Next up, was a skill that involves the sword that almost every anime that has fighting genres. Every person that wields a sword has a charged attack. I put my right hand onto the handle and let it stay there. I focused my aura onto the sword this time. At the same time I'm focusing a little aura onto my hand to allow myself to draw the sword quicker. In a flash my sword was out and a dark blue energy in a crescent shape was flying at the tree I just crashed into. The energy dispersed after it hit the tree. At first nothing happened and I thought the skill was a dud, but then the tree fell. It was a clean cut going up diagonally from left to right, exactly how I drew my sword out.

This attack is cause by the aura released by the sword in a quick fashion or as other swordsmen call it, a quick draw.

I sweat dropped at the sight of the name. The skill is certainly effective, but the name just sounds dumb.

This skill covers your sword mastery if you haven't notice the name. The () on the end of the skill name is what level you are currently at, which I Beginner. Better start leveling up.

Anyway, moving on to another skill. I checked my Aura to make sure I have enough to cast another skill, which right now is at 35, oh wait, never mind, its 45 now. After creating a boost and offence skill, I wanted to make a defense one. I focused Aura all over my body and hardened it. The aura stopped flowing around me and now was like a solid layer but without the glow. I walked up picked up a tree branch and hit myself with it as hard as I can. The damage it dealt was only 2. It was expected, with my hidden flexible armor underneath my clothes.

This defense skill creates a armor made of aura that surrounds your entire body and act as an armor. This reduces damage taken by attacks.

I check the time once again and found that it was 7:30. I have half an hour to rest up and if I remember correctly, no matter how short the rest I can get health back and Aura quicker. It depends on my sleeping conditions too, which includes what the bed is, where am I sleeping, and how am I sleeping.

By the time I woke up, other people were already getting ready. Luckily, I slept with my combat wear on so I didn't need to change and with me not knowing where my inventory is, I can't get myself my essentials to take care of my body. Suddenly as I thought that, a screen popped up. The screen was filled with boxes that are dark which I think means empty. However, I did find a suitcase, a toothbrush, a cup, a bunch of spare clothes that I had in my other world, and some spare parts no doubt for my sword which I dubbed as Night Fang. After getting ready I visited the locker to get myself familiar with the characters of the series. I arrived to hear Ruby complain to Yang about being on a team and working alone solo. I was going to say hi, but Jaune had to bump into me.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking at where I was going. I needed to find my stuff which was located at that side somewhere."

"It's no problem. I'm Silver, Silver Tsuki." I introduce myself to Jaune.

"The names Jaune Arc. Short, sweet, the ladies love it." Jaune replies. Funny, this is exactly how Jaune introduce himself to Ruby. Deciding to go with the exact same line Ruby used I asked,

"Do they?"

"Well, not right now, but soon hopefully." He replies.

"Anyway nice chatting with you…" Before I could finish he already walked towards Weiss and Pyrrha. Knowing what was going to happen, I walked to where I was originally headed and again bumped into someone. This time was Yang and Ruby was behind her.

"Whoa! If you wanted to get a feel, you could have just asked." Yang said, probably trying to make me blush. It worked, but not as much as she hoped.

"I wasn't trying to cope a feel on you. Just accidentally bumped into you. What? Did ya want me to cope a feel on ya?" I asked with a grin as I got up. Ruby's face was red like the tip end of her hair, but Yang just grinned and retorted, "I don't mind, but later I want to see how good you move in bed."

That did the trick as I just closed my mouth and had the largest blush I had in my life.

"YANG!"

Damn, that girl could yell. Ruby was the one who yelled. Her face was very red by now and she was staring hard at her sister. "I was just kidding Ruby. Anyway, my name is Yang and this is my adorable little sister, Ruby!" She said with a squeal at the end as she hugged her sister in a death hug. Deciding to butt in before Ruby died because she was lacking oxygen, I quickly introduce myself.

"The names Silver, Silver Tsuki."

That did the trick as Yang released her sister. "Well nice meeting you hot stuff, but we got a test to take." She says as she walks away right as Jaune gets speared by the hoodie. I walk up to him with them.

"Already having trouble lady-killer?" Yang asks.

"I don't understand where I went wrong. Dad said women look for men with confidence. Where did I go wrong?" Jaune says depressed.

I answered him instead of Yang who could say the wrong thing in this situation. "You went wrong the moment you tried those pickup lines and such. Don't try too hard with this or else you'll fail."

"You have experience with this?" Jaune asked.

"Yeah, do you have experience with this because you sound like you do hot stuff." Yang states.

"None at all, but I know this works." I replied as I thought, 'Because I watch tons of Romance animes and learned how to do some of the stuff from it, but they don't need to know that. Plus I actually never did use any of the stuff I learned from it.'

"Will all first year students report to the Beacon Cliff for the initiation" The voice said through the speaker.

When I arrived, all the people in the series that were supposed to be there was there along with me and the 3 villains, Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury. I stepped onto the launch pad right after Jaune. Ozpin said the same speech he does in the dang series. Pretty much the same thing happened as the series itself. I got launched into the air and I got to say I completely forgot my phobia for heights. Thankfully, I had the 2 basic skills the guy in the Gamer had, The Gamer's Mind and The Gamer's Body. Thinking quickly as I descend I pull out Night Fang and stabbed it into a tree. Before the speed from the drop can stop suddenly, I pull Night Fang out and jumped towards the nearby tree and descended slowly by jumping back and forth between the 2 trees. I landed with a heavy thud onto the forest. First thing I see as soon as I look up is a damn Beowolf's face. Behind him I clearly heard a bunch of small growls. Great way to start this initiative. "Hi there." I said with a wave and ran screaming like a bitch. Let me tell you, from the series itself they look like overgrown wolves, but once you see them in person you'll start running like I did. Plus I never fought anything in my other world. Never even punched or slapped anything or anyone. I knew if this continued I'll look like a damn failure, meaning Goodwitch will watch me like a hawk looking for food. I turned around and began my first fight in my life time… 2 life times? Does being in another world count as another life time?

Two Beowolves came at me so I did something everyone would do, which is panic and fire off a skill at them.

"Quick Draw Slice!" I yelled out loud unconsciously. The 2 Beowolves got a direct hit from the close space between us. One of them died out in an exploding fashion of black particles but the other one only got a huge gash on its side. I was then confused, I just 1-hit a damn Beowolf and I'm only level 5. I looked at the levels for the Beowolves.

Beowolves Lv: 6

Oh, so that's why. I looked at the Beowolf with the big gash. The health bar was slowly draining because of the blood loss from its left side. Without much thought I went in to finish him off.

"Flash Step!" I yelled out once again, still not realizing I'm yelling out loud because I'm a dumbass. The distance was quickly crossed but I forgot that there was other Beowolves and got a big smack across the face and got my back smashed into a tree. My Health drained quite a bit, but not much to make me worry. I got up again and this time, pure reflex from playing a lot of dodge ball, I jumped out of the way before a Beowolf hand or paw came crashing down where I was before. Looking back I saw 6 more Beowolves not including the one I injured. Looking at the odds of me surviving this seems pretty low so I screamed like a bitch again and ran.

Not great for my first fight, but I did get 5 Lien from that Beowolf I killed.

This skill is created through pain. This skill allows you to endure more damage received; the higher the level, the less pain and less damage.

Suddenly, I bumped into someone as I was reading the description. What is it with me bumping into someone today? Can't I just meet someone in a more normal way? I look up to see the eyes of Cinder Fall. 'Oh shit, talking mushrooms.' I thought.

"Hello, my name is Cinder, I guess this means we're partners." She said with a smile. I would have believed her if she didn't sound bored and uninterested.

"Well, hello to you too. The names Silver, Silver Tsuki. Nice to meet you." I said with a grin. At first she just looked at me and then her face turned into a face that said the idiot doesn't know I'm acting nice when I'm a villain. Well I'm glad those drama classes I took in middle school is put into use cause Hook, Line, and Sinker.

"We should start running because I got a pack of BEOWOLVES ON MY TAIL!" I said/yelled as I ran away. I look behind me to see Cinder following me at high speed. Wait a second… in the series Cinder is badass as hell with her fire spells so why not make use of it. "Cinder, can you distract them for me? I'm more of the stealthy attacker so just distract them while I get them by surprise."

"Sure, but do it quickly, I can't hold them for long." She replies. 'Sure you can't. You can't do that but you can go head to head with a Huntress like it's nothing and escaped.' I thought as I ran farther into the forest and circled back. When I arrived, I saw her take out 2 Beowolves with an explosive eruption that hit them square in the face. Ok, 4 more to go. I look to see a Beowolf right behind her and she looked as if she didn't see it. I'm going to look suspicious if I don't move in to save her ass that doesn't need to be saved. With a quick Flash Step, without me saying it out loud of course, I close in and span a 360 when I was within reach. I cut the Beowolf on the back horizontally, but I wasn't finish. I continue to spin, but instead I was spinning vertically this time and my strike went the same way, making a cross wound onto the Beowolf's back. The Beowolf disperse again in black particles and I jumped back into the shadows. I was unlucky because a Beowolf was waiting for me right where I was jumping at. Using a quick Flash Step I was behind the Grimm. Using Flash Step again I was in front of the Beowolf. The Grimm looked confused as he looked at me then behind me. Taking this to my advantage I moved my wrist up as I jumped so that my upward slash went higher than what the height it would have been if I had not jumped. I had added Aura to the jump so I was completely in midair on top of the Beowolf's head. I wasn't done with the attack so I turned so that I would land facing the Beowolf's back; I slashed down hard and added Aura to Night Fang as I did it. The result was successful as it burst. I ran back to see Cinder holding out on the last 2 Beowolves. She was struggling with the one that was occupying her so she did not see the other one come up behind her and smacked her sideways. As she flew towards me, I saw a fire Dust in crystal from flying in midair. Time to test the range attack of my sword. I held up my sheath and pointed at the Fire Dust as it fell. The 2 Beowolves decided it would be the perfect time to lunge at us. 'Perfect' I thought as I grinned. Time seem to slow down for me as I aimed. I fired and the bullet was going slowly towards the falling Dust. I did not see the ending result as I had to cushion Cinder's impact, but I did hear a loud and clear explosion, meaning the bullet had hit bull eye.

I open my eyes to see Cinder's looking at mine. Being me and not liking villains I said, "Can you get off of me?" Nope, not even going for her even if she looks good. She gets off of me and we walk towards our goal in silence. That's what she thought. I was busying messing around with gaming system. A few seconds after we started walking I got this.

The (3) at the end of the sentence means how much of what item I got. In this case I got 3 Grimm plates. I went to my inventory to check on what it was, as it they did not mentioned anything about using them in anyway in the series.

Grimm Plates x3 (Common) - Type: Crafting Material

These plates are common drops from the Grimms. They however, are very useful crafting materials for weapons and armor. They are harder than your average iron; the hardness is around steel level. They are often use to improve weapons to reinforce them for much more endurance. Other uses will be unlocked as your Crafting Level increases.

Unluckily for me, I don't have a Crafting skill so I can't learn much about it. I look back up to see we reached our destination. Yang and Blake were already there.

"Hey Silver! I see you got yourself a partner, a good looking one at that!" Yang yelled when she spotted us.

"I didn't choose her for that, but because professor Ozpin said eye contact means partner, I have to stick with her." I replied in a nonchalant tone. Suddenly I heard someone yell "Heads Up!" I looked up to see Ruby flying towards us. I look over to the right to see Jaune coming in hot towards Ruby. Should I jump up and save her or do I let Jaune midair tackle themselves into the tree like in the series? If I do save Ruby, I get bonus points with both Ruby and Yang so why not? Might as well save Jaune on the way. Using Aura Jump, I caught Ruby bride style and turned around to yell at Yang, "Catch!" and threw Ruby at Yang. Ruby screamed, but Yang caught her shortly afterwards. I turn back around in midair as I was falling to catch Jaune by the leg as he flew overhead. He landed on his butt, but I landed on feet. I bet I look so BADASS right now! Pretty much everything was repeated and Weiss was falling. Instead of Jaune, I tried to save her. Might as well get in her good side before she starts yelling her head at me. I used Flash Step this time to close in the distance. I held out my arms so Weiss would land on them bride style. I wonder why she did not use her glyphs. She landed and I saw the perfect opportunity to tease her. I couldn't help it; I always do it to my friends.

"I guess angels really do fall from the skies." I said with a smile. Weiss only blushed and tries to retort back at me for saying that, but fails badly. I let go of her and she just glares at me and walked away. The same stuff happened again. Ruby tries to take on Deathstalker, fails, gets trapped by a feather from a Nevermore, Weiss saves her ass, and then the speech about the objective being in front of us. What did happen differently was the fact Mercury and Emerald ran at us with a huge pack of Beowolves and a bunch of Ursas chasing after them. Oh did I mention 2 of them were Ursa Majors? I guess not. I quickly grabbed a white Bishop and ran. I didn't notice much happening, but the fact we're all running. What I did notice was the fact Emerald also chose a white Bishop. Great, I got villains for teammates. The other 2 teams were ahead and was at the ruins when Beowolves appeared in front of us. Smart little pieces of shits, they cornered us. I put my hand on Night Fang once again, getting ready for combat. The other villains also doing the same save for Cinder, her hands just lit on fire. If I remember correctly, Mercury uses his legs as weapons and Emerald used the 2 bladed pistols. Unexpectedly, the Ursas knocked the Beowolves away as they try to get in to get us. There was like 30? 40? Beowolves if I had to guess surrounding us. Another 8 Ursas with 2 of them Major was coming towards us like a Titan from Attack on Titan going for 'food.' The Beowolves ranged around from level 6 to 10 while the Ursas were 12 to 15. The Ursa Majors however, were level 20s. Holy shit how am I going to win this?! Taking the distraction, I ran towards a Beowolf in front of me. I didn't need any skills to kill one the same level as me!

Smack!

'Maybe I do need to use at least 1 skill.' I thought as I was smacked across the face. I quickly jumped out of the way as 3 Beowolves lunged at where I was. Close to Death Count: 1. Holy cow I was expected to go against these fuckers. You've got to be kidding me! I then remember the built-in gun I had on my sheath. I pointed at a level 6 Beowolf and fired rapidly. A grand total of 24 bullets came out and marked themselves onto the body. The Health bar was dropping down as each on hit. Finally on the 16th bullet the Beowolf died. Damn that's useful as hell. I looked at my Aura and found out each bullet cost 2 Auras. I just lost 48 Aura, leaving me with only 22 Aura. Crap I won't be able to use Quick Draw Slice! Almost all my skills are Boost or Defense type; I should have made more Offence skills! Suddenly Cinder throws a bunch of fireballs my way and desecrates 2 Beowolves about to kill me with their paws raised. I had only half bar of Health left from the recent attack and now. 2 more hits from at least level 6 and I'm dead. I looked back to see Mercury and Emerald holding them off, but not being able to kill them as they were always interrupted by another Beowolf.

God damn it! Is there anything powerful I can use?! Wait, powerful! We could just hold out until Ruby and the others finish off the Nevermore and Deathstalker! "Guys hold out until the others finish their Grimm! We can have a better chance to win this if we hold out!" Cinder gave a nod while Emerald just looked at me and smiled. Mercury, however just yelled "Ok!" from somewhere in the pack of Beowolves.

'Come on Ruby, finish quickly cause we need help big time.'

This was my first time writing fight scenes so I might not be that descriptive about them. However, the actions Silver (Me) made are exactly what I would've thought or do. I don't know much about fighting as I never did it in real life. I hope you guys enjoyed this thank you very much. I did get a single review that had questions about the gaming system so I'll answer them here.

The Lazy Wolf:Will some stats and skills be explained later?

Yes they will, but just not yet as I need to get pass the initiative part of the series.

The Lazy Wolf: Is health and aura stat influenced by level or stat?

Health and Aura are mainly affected by level; however, some skills will affect the Health and Aura.

The Lazy Wolf: Stealth stat is a little odd, seems like it would be a misc. skill.

This is not a question, but it's worth explaining. The Stealth skill was not supposed to be there at first, but after a while I was just like isn't Stealth a natural thing to have? It's like Hide and Seek so why not put it there? I also have some alterations to make for the stats, but I was too lazy to fix it now so I'm going make Sliver get an Update for his gaming ability instead to make it more interesting.
