Hello! It has been a while, I hope everyone is doing well. According to the reviews some of you were excited about a possible pairing! I am really fond of Yue, I'm not too sure why though. I just hope you guys enjoy this chapter and let me know what you think!

Tenka had been away per Kagome's request. The young Kami was short on supplies and was feeling homesick. The small things like junk food or new clothes would give the Kami perspective. This was just the beginning and Kagome would live to the Era she had been born. Or at least that was what Tenka had hoped as he browsed through some through several stores thoughtfully. Kagome hadn't celebrated her birthday in a long time. Holidays and such were mortal celebrations. But the Kami had been hardened since the final battle. He was sure she no longer practiced the things that kept her going in her time in the past. Sometimes she would ramble on softly about them with a pained look on her face.

Tenka was struggling to connect to Kagome. To him it was painful, he had searched and waited so long. From other Kami companions he had heard it was a bond like no other. But Tenka had only had half of this. Kagome subconsciously had closed herself off to him and her other lives. The only thing that gave him hope was Kagome sought support from him.

So he had decided to do his best to guide his master. He purchased a new bag that was more suitable. He would be able to put a better spell on it then the one Kagome had on her other bag. He would give this one better security and more practical objects. A Kami's possessions were priceless. They always left some sort of strong residue on mortal objects. Which is why shrines and things were so important.

The raiju had ended up seeking out one of his fellow Kami companions who who simply went by N. The crazy dragon had swore their true name was only to be uttered by their master and their master alone. Her shop was simple and had welcoming atmosphere. No doubt the work of the dragon who owned the place. Pale skinned with rosy cheeks smiled a little woman at a costumer. "This help me find love?" A older man asked, his eyes filled with desperation. N smiled gently and pressed the bag of purchased goods in the older man's hands. "All the love you deserve." Her eyes were big and a lovely hazel. Almost captivated the older man nodded blushing as he shuffled out of the shop.

As soon as he left all the pleasant smiles stopped. Narrowed livid green eyes trained on livid him. "Ah what brings the 'mighty' Raiju to my place?" That cheery demeanor was replaced by haughty nonchalance. "Do you treat all your customers so rudely N?" The dragon sold beads of all kinds in this shop. They were laced with a bit of power to encourage certain things. In this Era it counted as a form of worship. Hoping and praying to small charms were becoming popular while going to a shrine was not. The dragon shifted into a a male form for a height advantage. Although he still wore a dress uniform of the place. Switching forms gave the place a appeal humans couldn't ignore. N changed so much Tenka hadn't really batted an eye at the tall man wearing a dress. "Just the ones who ask for too much." Tenka shrugged leaned on the counter. Despite the dragon's attitude they were long time friends. "I just came for some advise."

N rolled his eyes as he closed the shop door and flipped the open sign to closed. "What advise could a punk like you want? You don't have any responsibilities." The dragon loved to tease the Raiju about his lack of a Master. The only son of the Great Raiju that was Raijin's companion without a Master it, how shameful. At the Raiju's age it was unheard of to not be paired. Although N did feel some guilt about this, despite everything the beast was his friend.

Tenka looked thoughtful, it seemed like N did not know. But he had expected as much. N cared for no one but his Master. Tenka was perhaps his only friend other then his Master. "Nero. You should be kinder to Tenka. His Master is having some trouble adjusting." No one had heard a tiny doll like girl step into the room. But when she spoke she had their attention instantly. She was dressed in a Gothic lolita dress. Her hair fell in long blonde curls. She possessed jewel like green apple green eyes. N looked at his master in disbelief then turned to Tenka with wide eyes. "Tenka? That's your name?!" Tenka hummed softly in amusement. Even hearing the good news N's temper was short. N had gotten annoyed with that 'Tenka face' and scowled. "Don't get smug with me. Anyways where was your master hiding all along?" Tenka rubbed the back of his neck trying to find words that N wouldn't laugh at. But instead N's master spoke. "Kagome is a newborn child. In her last human cycle she was a time traveler. Currently she is involved in preventing the extinction of demons in this area." N blinked once again. "Time travel? That's a unheard of for a newborn let alone a human. Leave it to Tenka to get a Master just as troublesome. A young one too, who is the lolicon now?.~"

Tenka rolled his eyes feeling slightly annoyed. But he didn't even feel like entertaining N by arguing. Trying to ignore the feeling he looked at Luce, N's master. Luce's appearance changed frequently. Rarely did Tenka see the god look the same way twice."Did you struggle Luce?" Luce had many years under her belt before she made N her companion. If anyone had required guidance it was the dragon. "The hardest part is dealing with your past lives. While it is your history it, is not at the same time. I am a earth bound god of fortune, my lives were either prosperous or tragic. My last human cycle ended with me being burned for the practice of witchcraft. Access to your history has its benefits. It takes much skill to survive this world as a sane earthbound god. The past holds experience and knowledge. However I have heard of newborns that go mad and cause major disasters." Tenka felt worry for his Master. Kagome was very young and had a responsibility to shoulder. "Kagome has closed off her other lives and even you out. But that is only a temporary solution, especially considering how it is affecting your bond."

Tenka had figured as much. But he had no solution to this. But then again how did Luce know all of this? "Trouble follows that child and I am trouble. So I know a bit of her soul's past." Luce knew the trouble of being a puppet to a higher power. Even though she was no longer human did not mean she was no longer a puppet. But she still could have her own fun. "Here Tenka a gift for your Master. I believe I owe her a Happy birthday." A box wrapped prettily in shiny paper and ribbon appeared beside him. Tenka blinked, never had Luce been this kind to him. "Thank you very much. I'm sure Kagome will enjoy it." Luce looked to N expectantly.

Like a dog the dragon just tilted his head unsure what she wanted. "Nero I believe you should congratulate your friend on receiving his name. I believe he kindly did the same to you." The dragon suddenly looked a bit guilty. He reached into the air and pulled a shiny over sized egg out of thin air. "Here. You better fucking take care of it. I'm only givin' it to you cause this place is unsuitable for raising a kid." Luce laughed loudly and clapped her hands in joy. "Your giving him your precious egg?" N blushed softly at the question averting his eyes. "It's not like I can hatch it in the freaking shopping center." Luce smiled more sincerely then Tenka had ever seen, this was what it was supposed to be like. "See Nero that is why I love you."

Tenka closed his eyes unable to watch the moment between god and companion. Inwardly he was thankful, Kagome was more than he could have wished for. But she was young. So like Luce had guided N, he would guide Kagome. "Oi. You can't sleep in here. Take the egg, take the gift, and go home. Your Master is a newborn and you left her with dogs. Demon dogs" Just as N had said that a shock racked Tenka's body. Kagome's thoughts were flooding into him at a overwhelming rate. His Master was confused and losing track of herself. It was time to return he was needed. "Thank you." With that being said Tenka disappeared along with the gifts. N made a sound of displeasure. "See he's always goddamn rude." N groaned exaggeratedly. Luce smiled at him softly. "He's the lightning in the storm. You can't expect him to linger without it." N sighed softly both he and his master had a soft spot for Tenka. The gift his master gave to that newborn was precious. Luce was already fond of her as well. "You must like that Kagome if you gave her that book. But you lied to him about your final life cycle." Luce hummed softly as she poured herself more tea. "In one of my lives Kagome was very kind to me. If I have to tell a few lies to repay that kindness then I will."
