"Vat vas zat?" The man asks me. I look back shocked as my mind races.
"O-Oh I said thanks! Thanks for uh ve... Working with me?" He stares at me oddly for a few seconds then returns to his work. "Uh, ja. Velcome..." He states as he shuffles papers around.
I kinda start to look around and notice that the nurse keeps staring at me. I clear my throat and try to avoid her gaze for I know that she recognizes me somehow. A mother can always tell when it's your child. We were so close when I was younger but we started fighting and then when I moved out I stopped any contact with them. Out of all the doctors in the world he had to take me to them!
"Vat is zee problem?" Rod asks as Liz starts doing the regular tests. She keeps staring at me, examining me.
"Vell, he jumped off a cliff but landed on a mat. He can't move his legs..." Rod looks at us slightly shocked.
"He tried to commit suicide?" He asked concerning. Ludwig gives him a nod of the head. "Oh... Vell, ve may need to get him some zerapy. First I need to do a test to see if he is paralyzed or not. Vould you please exit ze room?" Rod says as he slaps a glove onto his hand. Ludwig's expression was one of shock. He slowly walks out of the room and closes the door behind him.
"I am going to flip you over, alvight? Zis is a legit test so please do not vorry." He does as he said. "Are you capable of taking of your pants off or vould I have to?" He asks. I don't say a word but shakily try to pull my pants down. Rod sighs and Liz finishes it up for me. "Zank you Liz." He slowly walks over to me as he gives another snap of his glove. My body tenses up as preparation but nothing happens. Curious, I relax my body.
"Hyaaaaa!" I scream as a pain shoots through my body.
Liz lets in Luddy after pulls my stuff back up. He quickly walks over and hugs me. "You aren't paralyzed but your tailbone is broken. You vill have to keep still for veeks vile it heals. Zere is no cast for zis broken bone so it vill be very hard to stay still."
"Are you ok?" He asks me. I give him a nod. Liz brings in a wheel chair for me to sit in. Luddy picked me up and gently set me in the chair. He wheels me out of the hospital and I'm just thankful that I got to avoid an awkward situation.
We get back into the house where Gil waited for our arrival. "So, he told you the same thing the awesome me said, right?" He said smirking.
"Go burn Gil..." Lud replies. His smirk became wider.
"He touched him huh?" Luddy almost took Gil's head off. "I fucked told you! Don't blame this on me!" He screams as he runs to his room.
"Luddy calm down. I'm not paralyzed and that's all that matters ve! Just calm down..." He sighs and walks back over to me.
"I'm sorry..." I smile at him as he slowly moves into a soft kiss. I put my hand up and refuse his kiss. He looks at me confused. "I can't fully accept your love still... I mean ve you did ruin my life and my way of living... But someday I can hopefully trust you again." I give him a slight smile but he looks more disappointed than anything.
"Ja, I understand... I hope one day you can..." He walks out of my view and into his own world. I do feel slightly bad because he clearly does care but he hurt me much worse so it's ok that I did what I did!
The phone rings and slices through my thoughts but is quickly picked up by someone in the home. A few minutes later Ludwig walks out of his room with the home phone and stares at me.
"Your first zerapy appointment is in a veek."
