Chapter 1- Why?
I watched him talk to her, I wish he would look at me like that. I sighed as I stuck my hair behind my ear. I stood behind a tree as the wind blew my skirt through the wind. I looked up at the sky. My eyes watered slightly.
"He doesn't even know how I feel.." Hinata opened her eyes. She sighed and began to walk away. As she walked she banged into a tall figure. As she looked up, she smiled.
"Sorry Sasuke" She said softly. The raven haired man looked down at her.
"Are you okay?"
"Hm? Why you ask?"
"You look sad is all."
"I-I'm fine, seriously" As I went to walk away I saw Sasuke stiffen. Sasuke and I have been friends since as long as I could remember. Our parents were apart of one of the biggest companies here in Tokyo. So, you can say we were close. But we really never interacted with each other, only at family business meetings or if we worked together in classes.
"What's wrong?" I turned to see what he was looking at, and that's when I saw it. Naruto had his arm around Sakura. I mouthed a oh. I took a deep breath and called out to him.
"N-Naruto"
"Hm?" Naruto asked as he looked at me.
"Come here please" I asked politely.
"Sure Hinata!" His arm was removed from her and he made his way to me. I couldn't help this feeling I had every time I saw his bright smile. As he came closer, Sasuke made his way to Sakura. I watched as her eyes sparkled at Sasuke. I don't know much about her, but it seems like Sasuke likes her. I shrugged at the thought as Naruto approached me.
"Are you Hungry?" Seriously Hinata, hungry, of course he is hungry!
"Well now that I think of it, yea! Wanna get some ramen with me?" I nod in agreement. As we began to walk, I was startled as he grabbed my bag.
"Let me carry that for you!" He said happily. I blushed as I looked up at his ocean blue eyes.
"Thank you" I mumbled softly. As we walked in silence, I couldn't help but feel in heaven. It was then, that my heart dropped. I felt his strong arm wrap around me. I could of sworn I epped out loud.
"Hinata, your so tiny!" He said jokingly.
"I'm only 4'11"
"Jeez! Your such a shrimp! Well it works on you, I think its pretty cute" I laugh..
"Why thank you" I said in a joking matter. As our walking came to a halt, we reached a little diner. We would usually go here together when ever we had the time to. As we walk in we are both seated. I shift in my seat, not knowing what to say. As I was about to speak, I heard someone say my name.
"Oi Hinata!" I look up to see it is Kiba.
"Your working today?"
"Yea, they suckered me into working after school, I mean how else am I paying for my prom crap"
"Oh man, I hope you don't over work yourself."
"Yea, you know talking about prom, you have a date?" Kiba asked me. I felt my face burn. Oh no, what if Naruto gets the wrong idea!
"I uh, no one has asked me…" I said silently.
"You know, I would like to go-"
"She has a date" I look to see Naruto pouting with his arms crossed in front of his chest.
"I do?" I say softly.
"She does? Well who is it?"
"Its me" I think my heart stopped.
"You?"
"Yea, she told me yes so we decided to celebrate tonight! Sorry, your going to have to ask someone else"
"Ehh, I'll ask Shino" I cant help but have a small laugh escape me. Kiba shook his head.
"You guys getting the spicy ramen and-"
"Miso ramen please" was all he said. Kiba nodded and walked off. I sat their looked down at my hands in my lap.
Their you guys go! That is a very small fraction of what's to come! I wont be posting it by chapters because I want to just release the story all at once. I do have a method to my madness that I will explain later on. Let me know what you guys think! I don't know when I will be done because I really want this to be perfect. Thank you for being patient and being loyal to the story!
