So here is it, sorry for the long wait I am currently writing the next chapter so hopefully it will not be as long as it has been for this one.

"It's been over a month Dean!" Sam said worriedly. "She has not been in touch in over a month; Bobby is getting really worried and so am I!" Dean looked up to his pacing brother, "It's her first job alone, I'm sure she is fine..." Dean tried to assure his brother but he was getting a little worried himself. Emerald would usually check in every week or so when she was out hunting with hunters other than Bobby or the brothers it had been 6 weeks without any word at all. "We should not have just dismissed the case, what if it really was something? What if it was a something that she couldn't handle alone Dean?" Sam continued to pace as he spoke but stopped and looked at Dean when he said his name, looking to him expectantly. Dean looked up at Sam and rolled his eyes, putting down the beer he was holding and standing up, "Alright alright, we will go and see what is going on okay? Will that make you feel better Sammy?" Dean asked and Sam nodded. "So where was it she was going?" Dean asked, "It was New Haven, we should pack up and head out." Sam answered.

When they had packed up the headed to the car and were soon on the way to New Haven to find out where Emerald was and why she had not gotten in touch. "Hey Bobby, Yeah... yeah, we are on our way to New Haven now... Yeah Bobby we are going to see what is up with Emms... Bobby don't worry she'll be fine... alright bye" Dean looked over at Sam after ending the call with Bobby who was very concerned about his daughter. "I thought you were worried about Emm." He said to Sam, "Of course I am..." Sam replied "Then why are you driving like a little old lady!" Sam rolled his eyes and sighed. "What did Bobby say?" He asked Dean a little later, "He told us if we don't find Emerald and bring her home safe he will skin us both." Dean replied, "I sure hope we can bring her back safe then." Sam said with a small smile.

It took the brothers two days to get to New Haven and when they arrived the first thing they did was check into a motel, the first one they came to was called 'Terry's Temptations', "So uh... have you seen this girl come through here at all?" Sam asked the woman at the desk as he handed her a photo of Emerald with Bobby and the two brothers. "Yeah I remember her, she was in 207 and just disappeared a few weeks ago, we still have all her stuff in the back. Nice girl. Real weird her disappearing like that." The woman advised, Dean's head snapped around from the vending machine he was looking at and he walked over "Can we see her stuff?" He asked, the woman nodded, "And is room 207 available?" Sam added, "Yeah here." She said and handed the key to room 207. "Thanks." Sam said and the two headed to the room with Emerald's stuff.

When they arrived in the room they opened up Emerald's bags and looked through everything there. "There is nothing unusual about what's here." Sam said, Dean picked up the file with all the information regarding the case she was working. "Sam look at this, she really was on to something here." Dean said still looking through all the information, "She has even narrowed it down to what it could be..." he continued, Sam walked around to Dean and took some of the papers to read through. "Yeah Encantado or a Djinn, I think she would have geared up for an Encantado as it's more likely in this area, we should ask around for any parties happening the night she was last seen." Sam suggested, Dean agreed so they went out about New Haven and began asking questions.

Sam and Dean met back up outside a diner called 'Bubba's' , they went in and found a table. "So what did you find out?" Sam asked, "Nothing, nobody I have spoken to seems to know Emerald or know anything about any party's the night she vanished." Dean replied, they both sighed as they looked down at the papers that they had laid out on the table. A waitress came over and asked what they wanted, Sam ordered a salad and Dean ordered their specialty pie. "You know that stuff is gonna kill you right?" Sam asked, Dean just rolled his eyes and smiled a little, for a moment both Brothers had forgotten about the case.

"That girl... I know her..." The waitress said as she sat down the boys' orders, Sam and Dean both looked up at the girl "When did you see her?" Dean asked urgently, "I thought it was a dream... This guy was taking me out of a party a few weeks ago, he was cute and we went down this alley way, I was really drunk and when he turned around it was like he had turned into a monster, I screamed and passed out but just before I did I saw that girl come running into the Alley, I woke up there a few hours later." She explained, "Would you be able to show us where this alley was?" Sam asked, she nodded, "My shift ends in about an hour I can take you then."

The boys waited for her at the Diner and when she was done she showed them where the Party had been and where the alley was. Sam thanked her and she was soon on her way, very obviously not wanting to stick around. Sam and Dean looked around for anything that may help them find Emerald but there did not seem to be anything about, but it had been weeks since it had happened so whatever evidence there had been was gone now. Dean gave out an exasperated sigh as he turned to Sam "What now, it's a dead end!" Dean punched a wooden post that was standing next to him "She could be dead... all because we didn't listen to her!" Sam looked at Dean, he felt the same, if only they had taken this job seriously. "Wait... Dean... Emeralds notes they said that people went missing for months, then there was the man that appeared after two months of being missing..." Sam explained "So what you are saying is that she could still be alive?" Dean asked, Sam nodded "Whatever it is it seems to be keeping its victims for something..."Sam continued, "We should go back to the motel and look into where someone could be kept for that long without being found."

Once back at the motel Sam got out his laptop and started looking for anywhere that someone could be hidden without being found for a while. Dean went out to ask to ask around town and see if anyone knew anything about it. A few hours passed and Dean arrived back at the motel room, Sam looked up "Okay Dean I think I have narrowed it down to about five places that this thing could be keeping Emerald…" Dean interrupted before Sam could continue "Is any of those places am old dance studio?" Sam looked surprised "How did you know?" he asked Dean, Dean smirked a little before answering, "Well I found out from the locals that there is a 'haunted' dance studio near the docks, nobody goes there anymore, in fact nobody even looks at it any more in fear of being cursed." Dean explained looking quite pleased with himself. "Well I think that would be the best place to start… looking at the lore an encantado should be able to be killed with a silver blade so lets get going." Sam closed his laptop and stood up along with Dean and they headed out to the Impala.

Once outside the dance studio they grabbed their silver knives and headed inside trying to stay as quiet as they could. The dance studio was dark and very dusty and it did seem as if nothing had been touched for years, "Maybe we have this wrong dean, it doesn't seem like anything here has been disturbed recently at all." Sam said after looking through almost all of the studio. "there are still a few more rooms to check nearer the back door and there is a basement, you know how the monsters love the basements." Dean replied as he slowly opened another door to peer inside was coming up to the back door of the studio and stopped in his tracks, it seemed that the dust that had settled there had been disturbed, like something had been dragged through recently. "Dean… come look at this." Sam said urgently, Dean arrived a few seconds later to see the drag pattern leading to the basement door, "See what did I tell you, the monsters love the basements." Dean laughed a little and slapped the Sam's back lightly as he went to open the door. It was at that moment that there was sound behind the door, like someone walking up stairs so the brothers quickly and as quietly as they could made for one of the other rooms, they cracked the door a little so they could see what was coming out.

"Dean… that's no encantado…" Sam said wide eyed as the creature made it's way out of the building, "No… we need to get a few things…" Dean replied.
