The inside of the Emerald City was spectacular. People were milling around here and there, all wearing green clothes. They actually kinda look like the popular kids from school actually, though Lil didn't think that any of those people would willingly wear some of the more outlandish outfits she sees.

"Cabby! Cabby here! I can take you anywhere you need to go." The door man? called out, driving up with a horse drawn carriage.

"Can you take us to see the wizard?" Lil asked, Kimi just watched in glee, the others looked around in awe.

"The Wizard? Uh, yes. But first, let's get ye somewhere you can get tidied up." He motioned for them to get aboard. They clambered aboard, Lil thanking him profusely, before Kimi interrupted her.

"What kind of horse is that?" She asked, looking at the somehow, now purple horse. Wasn't it just white?

"Why, it's the horse of a different color! There's only one of him, and this is he! Neat huh?" The driver grinned back at them.

Both girls grinned as they were pulled through the city, both watching the ever color changing horse with glee.

They soon found themselves in a house, but not a house. They were separated, the girls were taken to a bath house and their clothes were taken, probably for a good wash, they were given big fluffy robes.

The Lion was taken to a separate bath house and given a thorough cleaning, a good thing too, his fur was almost brown.

The Scarecrow and the Tin-girl were taken to a room where they were taken apart, washed, and re-stuffed, Scarecrow, and washed, repaired, and buffed, Tin-girl.

When they regrouped, Lil and Kimi were wearing clean clothes and their hair and makeup was immaculate. The Lion had his curly hair brighter then they had ever seen it, and his glasses cleaned and clear. The Scarecrow had brighter clothes, and a bright smile, his straw was all new too. And the Tin-girl shined, no more rust.

Lil and Kimi noticed the shy glances that the Lion gave the Tin-girl, both smiled and giggled. They found themselves in front of a door, and they all knew what was behind it.
