Before they could enter the door, people started shouting.

"Look!" And they did, up in the sky. Black writing was appearing, a wicked cackle coming from a boy on a broom, the Witch.

"Surrender, Lil?" The Scarecrow read.

"Who is he?" The Lion cowered behind the Tin-girl as best he could.

"It's the witch! And he wants Lil! We need to see the Wizard." Everybody started to storm to the doors, Lil was pushed away, all of them were, the people were panicking.

"Go home! The Wizard has everything under control! No need to worry! I promise you it will be alright!" The door man/cabby driver exclaimed, waving around a staff.

"Excuse me, but we need to see the wizard." Lil told him, the others crowding behind her.

"I'm sorry, but no one can see the wizard. My orders were clear, no one, no how, no way." The redhead shook his head and crossed his arms, swinging the staff around, almost hitting Lil by accident.

"Sorry, but no can do." He shook his head again.

"But she's Lil." The scarecrow told him. He looked at her, startled.

"The Witch's Lil?" He asked, they nodded. He looked at them again, this time with something unreadable.

"Well, that's new. Let me just, go announce you." He told them before turning, disappearing behind the door.

"Cool! I've so got my brain!" Scarecrow grinned.

"And I've got my heart. Can't wait!" The Tin-girl grinned back. The lion looked at them shyly.

"And I will be brave?" He asked. Lil turned to him, grinning.

"Of course. You'd be able to tell anyone, anything." She giggled again when he turned red.

"The Wizard said, Go Away!" The boy called out to them, before slamming the door closed.

Ah, why would he do that? Because he's a big meany that's why!
