"Go away?" Lil asked, Kimi hugged her. "What are we going to do?" she asked, both girls about to cry.

The Lion looked pale, and his eyes were glossy, like he was trying to hold in tears.

"We needed him to get us home." Lil and Kimi started crying.

"Mom is going to be so sad. I mean, she'll think we ran away. She, she-" Both Lil and Kimi started to wail. The Lion right behind them, also crying.

But then they heard a crying that wasn't one of theirs.

"Oh, don't cry! I had a mom once myself. I'll get you guys in to see the Wizard, somehow. Come on, hurry." A tearful every-man told them, motioning them forward.

The hallway was long, and kinda dark. The Lion was shivering in fear, and the every-man was nowhere to be seen.

"I think I'll just, go wait outside." The Lion told them, before turning and trying to run.

"Oh no you don't." The Tin-girl grabbed his tail, keeping him from running far. He yelped at the tugging she kept up.

"Let me go! I- I'll be right outside I swear!" He cried in fear.

"Oh come on. He's gonna give you courage, why are you so scared?" Lil asked him.

"Because I haven't been given courage yet." The lion cowered. The Tin-girl rolled her eyes.

"Come on you big baby." She grabbed his arm, the Scarecrow grabbed hi other arm, and they pulled him forward. Lil and Kimi right behind them.

"Come Forward!" A voice boomed out, the door before them opening on it's own.

"Tell me when it's over." The lion told them, tears springing to his eyes.

Lil nodded to him before the five moved into the room.
