"Nice hair kid." The witch grinned at her, Kimi was tied to a chair, next to the door, a flying monkey standing next to her.

"Let her go. What are you going to do to her?" Lil asked, not sure if she should move to help her friend, or keep her distance from the witch.

"All in good time kid. Now, give me those cleats, then you and your friend can go." The witch grinned wider, his face almost splitting.

"But, The witch of the North said not to." She looked back at Kimi, then at the witch.

"Okay," He looked at the Monkey, "Throw the girl in the river and drown her." He commanded.

"No! Don't! Please! You can have the cleats, just don't hurt Kimi!" Lil cried, grabbing hold of the witches arm, pleading.

"Finally. Now," He started to reach for the cleats, but somehow, when he got close, an electrical charge zapped his hand.

"AH! I forgot! Those cleats will never come off, not until you're dead." He leered at her. Kimi took this time to break out of her bonds.

"Run Kimi! Run!" And she did, knowing that there was nothing she could do to help Lil on her own. She ran, making it to the gates, then jumping the bridge, barely making it to the other side.

"She's free. Go Kimi!" Lil cried, tears falling down her cheeks.

"That's more then you will get. You see this?" The witch held up a timer, numbers counting down from 01:30:00.

"That's how long you have to live." He told her, "And it's not very long." He cackled before disappearing in a puff of smoke.

Lil's heart beat was too fast, she slipped down into a sitting position, a large crystal ball was next to her.

"I just want to go home." She cried.

"I'm sorry mama. I'm sorry." Lil covered her head.

"Lil? Kimi? Where are you guys? I can't find you? Where are you?" Lil looked to the ball, and saw her mom. She had more wrinkles than Lil had seen, her eyes were bloodshot and dark bags were under them.

"I'm here mama, I'm in Oz." Lil tried, but she couldn't hear her. The image in the ball changed to a cackling witch.

"Oh mama! Mama! Help me! I'll give you your mama!" He cheered, cackling at her, making Lil feel worse then before.

"Guys! Guys! Where are you?!" Kimi cried out, trying to find her friends.

"Over here! Kimi! Am I glad to see you. Where is Lil?" The lion looked around, and his smile fell when he realized that she wasn't there.

"The witch has her. We need to go back. Come on! Hurry!" Kimi turned and lead them back to the castle.
