"Come on, this way." Kimi motioned for them to follow her. They ran up a set of stairs and stood before double doors.
"Lil, you in there?" The Scarecrow called out.
"Guys! I'm in here! He locked me in here! You need to open the doors!" Lil cried out, banging on the door. The group shared grins.
"Hurry! The timer is almost done!" Lil cried out. The Tin-girl huffed, hefting her axe up, before swinging it into the door with a solid thud.
"Stand back Lil!" The Scarecrow told her before another thunk landed on the door.
The Tin-girl smashed through the handle, sending the door open to smash onto the wall.
"Guys! Kimi! I knew you'd come for me!" Lil grinned as she and Kimi hugged. She hugged the rest, lingering on the Scarecrow, who reminded her of her brother, her twin. Goodness, does she miss him, even though he can be a lug head from time to time.
"Hurry, we gotta go. There isn't any time to lose." The Scarecrow pushed them forward, they started to run to the exit.
I should probably make sure all the spelling and everything is good, but, meh.
