Chapter 4

"What happened?! What's wrong?!" the mage screamed glaring at the silent occupants of the guild expecting an answer. They couldn't speak, they were in a state of shock, even the Master was uneasy.

Erza just recently came back to the guild due to the emergency message from Levy but she couldn't understand what was happening. Why were they so quiet? Lyon and Juvia stood mute behind her in bewilderment as she walked towards the others. The armoured mage stood next to her blonde friend and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder about to inquire why everyone wouldn't speak a word, but the way Lucy's body instantly tensed at the contact she realised that the mage wouldn't answer her question even if she demanded it.

It was unsettling being in the guild now. Everyone around her looked as if they'd never mutter a word in response to her many questions. Natsu and Gray would, them being scared to death by her wrath if she was aggravated. If they were here than she'd have an explanation of the situation in a flash.

Where was Natsu? He was supposedly half here so did he disapp- oh

God! He didn't, did he? That must be the answer. She growled beginning to slowly despise the person who did this even more, they were defiantly going to pay. Pay with their life if she her way.

"Fairy Tail, anyone, how did Natsu disappear?" she asked openly for anyone to answer. But, she was looking pointedly at Makarov, displeased that their leader hadn't spoken either. She needed information damn it! Why wouldn't they speak-?!

"We don't know." The master finally spoke evenly, and calmly. However, they knew he was still shaken inside. "…Levy?"

"Laxus, Evergreen, what did you guys find out?" she said, slowly.

"His brain wave came from the north-east."

"Well, that's where the so called human race is originated. One moment." As the fairy looked for the information that her, Bisca and Alzack found, people began to relax out of their petrified states. After all, what good could they do the two if they were weak and traumatized?

Makarov sighed in sadness. He really was useless in times like this. He was unfamiliar with this order of business, therefore he let the youngsters control the situation. The small master was being shunned in leadership skills, even though he'd allowed Levy to take charge, his timid behaviour was unacceptable. There must be something he knew to help except that technique he tried on the pinkette earlier.

That's right. He knew what could assist his guild in finding Natsu and Gray. He took charge because of this. He needed to lead his children and not the other way round.

"Evergreen, tell me who they are."

She looked towards her original leader, recognising that he was regaining his post as their master and making Levy step down on that role that she temporarily held. She smiled, as much as she trusted the clever, blue-haired mage, she preferred taking her masters orders.

"Alright. To be honest, they are similar to us in some ways. They lack any magical abilities but have laws, doctors, and buildings just like we do. However, they have different languages, not just one." Some gasped, surprised.

"They do have things called guns, weapons, but aren't magically enhanced like Bisca's and Alzack's. And technology which is very hard to understand the concept of."

Bisca stepped in at this.

"They have devices like phones, used for leisure, communicating etc, but other than this, we know no more of them."

"This'll be difficult. If they have this 'technology' to fend against us in a possible fight-even though we will prevent one at all costs, right?" He glared at his brats who nodded in acceptance. "-It'll be hard to win when we know nothing about it. What do you all think about allies with other universes?"

"I think that they could help us but we don't even know if these humans will be violent, master, why do you think we will have to?" Lucy inquired quietly, trying to recover from the horrific afternoon. Juvia, shaking next to her.

"I believe that they will do what they have to in order to get what they want. They don't seem to have much, so that is my honest conclusion if they are anything like us."

"Makes sense." The lightning mage muttered.

"So, Mira, Erza, Levy, Lucy, Laxus, Gajeel, Evergreen, and I will discuss this in my office. That is final. What we decide is what will happen. Everyone…this isn't the end ya know. Cheer up." He said looking at their gloomy expressions.

"We will get Gray-sama back won't we?"

"And Natsu-nii?"

"Yes, to both of you. We will if I have anything to say about it!" Erza shouted earning a small smile to appear on Romeo's face.

"I sure do hope so."

Natsu.

Natsu!

NATSU!

NATSU!

'Huh? Who?'

I am god.

'HUH?'

I am the creator of the Universes.

'Where-Where is Gray?!'

He is in my human universe. The most brutal of them all.

'Why? WHY DID YOU PUT HIM THERE?! HUH?!'

Hey, calm down. I didn't actually. I don't really have control on my babies' actions, I just watch and mend any vital mistakes. I can in all honesty stop them from harming him, but destiny doesn't want that.

'I don't give a crap about destiny! Help him!'

Do you not care for yourself, Natsu? Don't you wander about yourself?

'…'

This is why I called you. I am fascinated by you and your developments. You're rather special to me, you must know. Why do you think that your life hasn't been taken by destiny yet? Me. I still want you to live, however, you need to get past this.

'Wait, what-?'

No. Don't interrupt. I called for you, yet your will kept you from fully visiting as soon as I had wanted. Look, I don't want to hurt you or your friends, I want to help.

'Then help!'

Don't get snappy. I will send you to a different universe. I know already that your master is discussing if they should make allies with another people to help you retrieve Gray, yet they're not sure. I am.

'What'd you expect me to do? I wanna protect him so shouldn't I go home and get Gramps and the others to agree with you? I'm just not sure about this! Why would I trust other people?'

Nope, that'll waste time. What you need is to recruit some people and befriend them. Natsu please do this for me. I am god, female. I know what it feels like to lose a friend, and I have come to see that you get through this safely. So trust me and the people I want you to recruit on all of this.

'Ok, if I have to. But protect everyone while I'm gone! Yosh, I'm fired up!'

That's the spirit. Now, look for someone called Kaneki. He is the key of that universe as you are to the mage universe. Befriend him. Then, as I predicted you'll be able to talk to some highly skilled people. If you and him combine power you'll be instructed to where to go from there on. They are already on their way to Gray, as I have sent them. Natsu, this'll go down smoothly if you convince them to trust you. I've created you, Kaneki and a few others for this purpose. They all lead their own dignified universe that they hold dear and the people follow them. Make as many friends as possible. Go.

Gray opened his eyes to see black. Pure and utter black. He couldn't see anything. He only felt pain. Severe, intense pain.

"-e looks like he's hurting."

"-What did they do to him before we got here, I wonder?-"

"-de! Hey, wake up!-"

"-uto! Stop shaking him, let me help him with my m-"

"You idiots, look, he's already awake!"

"NATSU!" the raven screamed with a hoarse voice. He was scared, where was he….he needed his rival.

"Hey! Calm down." A deep voice commanded softly.

"Huh? Who are you-argggh!" He screamed, his legs ached. What had happened to him? The ice mage struggled to remember.

He'd been dragged into this world after an average day in Fairy Tail, his home. The scientist turned out to be understanding. He had been fine to cooperate with him, after some…convincing. He then left and soon after was abducted by some men. The rest was a blur, except the fact that he had to help Natsu. Now, he was with these...people.

"Let me help you." A firm female voice suggested.

"No! Why can't I see you all, who are you?"

"We are Ninjas." Ninjas? Seriously…

"Sasuke, use your fire ball jutsu to light up this rock I found."

"Yes, Kakashi." Sasuke said.

The pale teen light up a rectangular shaped rock that he saw was in his former teacher's hand. Using a few hand signs, it was easy. Apparently, that shocked Gray.

"How did you do that….Sasuke?"

"Ah, so you're just going to use my name huh? No hono-Whatever. It's simple, I just used a justu."

"Ju….stu?

"What you've never seen a justu before?!" a slightly higher pitched male, questioned.

"Naruto, remember what my theory was?"

"What that he's from another dimension?" he sighed.

"Yeah. So, have you regained strength enough to stand….?" Kakashi wanted to know his name.

"Gray…ugh…Fullbuster." He groaned. "And, no. My legs are really badly damaged."

"Sakura."

"Got it." She advanced to his position and began with her medical ninjustu immediately. It still kept Gray on edge as he wasn't entirely sure what she was doing, but only knew that he was feeling better by the minute.

"So, can you not do anything then?" Naruto inquired. He was a little excited when meeting new people, despite being a well-respected ninja.

"Yeah, but they-"

"You mean that injection, well, I took care of that."

"So, I can use my magic again?" the ice mage beamed.

The four looked at each other, bearing the same shocked thought. 'Magic?!' They all stared at him in bewilderment, until the copy ninja became too interested to see this magic.

"I've never seen magic myself. Can you show some to us." Gray smirked at them, leaving Sakura heart eyed. 'What a sexy smirk!'

"Of course, but what do you want to see?"

"Look! He's getting cocky! Fine, show us an explosion!"

"Ok, here I go-"

"No! We need this shelter, we beat the men up and sent them somewhere far. But, this isn't our dimension either, so I wouldn't want to take you to anywhere I don't know. Just show us something small."

Gray pouted, but decided to comply with the terms, and with the contact of his fist to his hand he created an enlarged ice version of the very same guild mark on his chest. They all gawked at him. For a long while, they just stared at his work, admiring the beautifully scalped ice, however that state of surprise only lasted for so long. Naruto was the first to snap out of awe.

"Not that good." He muttered defiantly.

"'Not that good', my ass!"

"Hey now, ignore the dobe. You're quite good."

"Thanks, Sasuke."

Naruto laughed sarcastically. "Now I have two assholes here."

"Yup." The two ravens said in unison.

"Shit!" the blond whispered to himself.

"Boys and girls. We have more things to do than talk about nonsense. I have to read and you guys need to sleep. Let's figure out a plan."

XDXDXDXDX

A.N. I'm sooooo sorry for not posting sooner. This is an unfinished chapter, and it probably will remain like this. I completely lost inspiration whilst writing this (wayy back in the year) and don't know what else to do with this so sadly, I'm quitting.

I'm going to write short snippets of this story in my ongoing fanfic "99 ways to say I'm sorry" but other than that. I'm finished with this. My inspiration is dead ):
